Am I Technically Enrolled In College If They Give Me A Schedule

Does anyone attend a technical college/ trade school?

Technical/trade colleges are "for profit" organizations. They have a bad reputation. They costs a lot of money and many times have no employment value. Stay in your Community College, earn your degree (it matters not which degree you get) and have the confidence that it's worth something.

If you want to become a law enforcement officer, go to any agency (local police, the state police and/or federal agencies, large airports have their own law enforcement as do Community Colleges, large public school districts and Universities) and apply.

Don't embarrass yourself by showing an employer a diploma from some technical/trade school. Take your reputable Community College diploma in hand when you apply. Good Luck!

I accidentally lied on my college application!?

I am a senior this year and last semester when I filled out my college applications I said I was going to take these non-required courses (Art, extra Lit class) and now my schedule is too busy to take these classes. I applied to 4 universities and 3 have accepted me and 1 I am waiting on.

I technically lied? But when they see my final report grade they will see that I didn't take those classes.

Should I call them and tell them about it, because I don't want them to take back my acceptance when they see I am not taking those classes?!

Am I technically enrolled in college if they give me a schedule ?

My school just told me i'm not enrolled, but still gave me a schedule telling me to still attend the classes tomorrow. Should i go even if they told me i'm not enrolled ?

I'm a first time student in college so it's all new to me.

Are there any colleges that will accept me without a high school diploma or a GED?

Community Colleges (Sometimes called JUCOs)For-profit unaccredited colleges, usually operating online only. (You know them, “Joe’s College and Storm Door Company”) If you have the cash, they have the diploma. Of course, the diploma is worth nothing and no reputable college will give you credit for any of their courses if you try to go for a post graduate degree. Anyone contemplating one of these online schools should do themselves a favor and find out what, if any, accreditation they have and just how transferable their credits are. (Read the fine print on their ads and you will sometimes see a comment that the credits MAY NOT transfer.) That means, “Will Not Transfer”.

Is it illegal to be scheduled outside your work availability?

Thank you for all your input, I didn't fully believe it was illegal, but I still wasn't sure. I was more worried about the class part, but I put in my two weeks and told them why and I know at least 5 others have as well. I wasn't expecting them to follow my availability completely, I know it happens, but the big goal pursuing my education and I was frustrated and upset. This is the defensive girlfriend in me (haha) he was just as confused as I was he was stating a truth but merely a thought. Thank you all for your answers and I value each of your opinions.
