What is your celebrity crush?

EDIT: Took me a while to answer because I was trying to think of my best story. Ah well.

He is - if you're really asking What - a Time Lord from Gallifrey's Tenth Reincarnation. If you're asking Who (two jokes in one, haha!), it's the lovely, talented, Scottish, and married, David Tennant.

Of course I have a ton of others as well (though surprisingly I am picky, but it's hard NOT to love them), but I'm just mentioning him because there's a funny backstory behind it - I've literally had a crush on him my whole life and never realized it.
EX:
~ 4 years old, first thing I saw internationally was the show Takin' Over the Asylum (a rerun I imagine, since the show was from 1993) My first crush ever in the history of crushes? His crazy radio DJ character Campbell Bain.

~ 8-9 years old, saw Goblet of Fire. My one complaint as I came out of the theatre "Why did they have to make Barty Jr. so cute? It made it harder to watch him get arrested!"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC_jddH_0...
~ 15 years old, finally took my friends' advice and watched Doctor Who. Fell in love again before realizing "Hey, it's the same guy! Wow, that's crazy, and really cool! What's his name again?"

~ 16'th birthday, this time an avid fan, went to see the Aardman movie he was in as my sweet 16 present. Also burned my way through Blackpool, felt a bit guilty watching Casanova but sat through it anyhow and loved it, and rented Fright Night a week later just for his scenes. (Really, these were it, but they were worth it):

Yep, hooked.
And the latest thing I saw of his was the Virgin Media On Demand TV ads he starred in. He never ages, he must really be a Time Lord :) Love you to the end, Ten.

What are your top 5 favorite t.v. shows?

Doctor WhoIt teaches us many things. Loss, importance, or what can happen during wars. It's also about a hero, only with a Sonic screwdriver and a box. There can be happy moments, and then there can be sad moments as well.My FamilyI absolutely LOVE this show to death! It appeared on BBC America, and I watched this everyday in the evening after coming home from school. I watched many episodes, but unfortunately couldn't watch from season 7 on. BBC America stopped showing it a few years later, however it continued running in the U.K.Hell, I remember the very first episode I seen that made me fall in love with it.The Awkward Phase.American Horror Story(My DVDs.)After watching AHS for the first time by watching Freakshow, I wanted to watch the rest. For my birthday a few years back, my sister gave me the first three seasons. Next thing you know, I was binge watching all three seasons. When I got the other two seasons, I did the same.Watched Roanoke, but lost interest halfway through it. It was an interesting storyline, but I didn't like the direction they took with the “true story” thing.Didn't watch Cult or Apocalypse either, even though I kept following the page on Facebook.Ed, Edd, and EddyThis was my number one cartoon of all time. When I came home from Elementary School, I would tune in to Cartoon Network to watch this. Out of the three, Edd is my most favorite.Mr. BeanI practically grew up watching this man on VHS tapes, and now I have the shows and movies on DVD. I love how Mr. Bean is like a grown child, and not afraid to act that way in public. While Mr. Bean may barely talk, you just know how he feels by his actions.Of course, we can't forget Teddy. While he may get decapitated or shrunk, he always comes back.

Is Starkid a cult? I think it is corrupting my daughter!?

My 14 year old daughter and her friends have been talking about something that they call "Starkid" and I believe that this is causing her to behave in strange ways. I've looked through her phone and some of the songs include "Take off your clothes" and an entire album called "Me and My dick". MY DAUGHTER IS TOO YOUNG TO BE BEHAVING LIKE THIS! I wasn't even interested in boys until I was 18! Also I believe that this cult may be causing my daughter to engage in bestiality and homosexuality with some lyrics in the songs being "He ****** a tiger" and there is an entire song about two men singing about how much they love each other. The Bible says that these behaviours are nothing but satanic! I've looked at her tumblr and I'm very disappointed in what she is posting. She replied to a person saying that "She wanted *him* to father her children" which is EXTREMELY inappropriate and further i believe that this StarKid is the root of this problem. What should I do and is there any way to stop the cult of Starkid?

Teens, wanna take a little holiday survey?

1: What age did you find out Santa wasn't real?
- I always knew he wasn't. I helped my mom wrap all of our presents since I was 3.
2: If you ever have children, will you tell them Santa is real or flat out tell him he's fake?
- I tell my daughter he's fake. I am not giving an imaginary fat man credit for her smiles on Christmas morning. Nuh-uh. I bought her all those presents.
3: Do you know people who celebrate other holidays around this time like Kwanzaa or Hanukkah?
- Yes, my grandma on my dad's side is Jewish. And some of my friends are Jewish. Some people on my dad's side celebrate Kwanzaa too.
4: Wrapping gifts or gift bags?
- Wrapping. I am really good at it.
5: Snow bunny or no?
- I love the snow, but it doesn't snow where I live.
6: Do you ski, snowboard, bobsled, ice skate, sled, any of that stuff during winter?
- Nope because it doesn't snow in SoCal. I will ice skate though
7: How often do you shovel?
- No snow
8: There's a blizzard outside and you're home alone. What do you do?
- egg nog with rum and partayyyy
9: Worse Christmas song ever?
- I hate Santa Baby
10: Are you religious?
- Nope
11: What store has the worst holiday ads?
- I don't watch tv :/
12: Candy cane fan?
- Yes, I love the original Peppermint ones and blueberry ones.

B&A - What's your favourite song LYRICS (because you're cool)?

OMG! MGMT! I bought their new album and now I can't get Brian Eno out of my heeeeeeeead. GAH. xD

My favorite lyrics of all-time are hard to pick out. So I'll just give the first three that came to mind.

"When they drilled holes in your skull
And screwed that halo to your head
Did you think you could fly?"

~ A Good Man Is Easy To Kill by Beulah

"And there's kids playing guns in the street
And one's pointin' his tree branch at me
So I put my hands up
I said, 'Enough is enough.
If you walk away, I'll walk away.'
And he shot me dead."

~ Landlocked Blues by Bright Eyes

"Anyone will tell you
Yes, anyone
Chance had me setting a tripwire alarm."

~ Miranda, That Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore (B. Pour Another Icepick) by The Mars Volta

BQ: Yep! *about to bore you to tears*

Mostly, the stuff that inspires me is instrumental, but recently I was inspired by lyrics from a few different songs to write a two-part story about a girl who sold her soul to the devil so she wouldn't die when she was suppose to. The devil replaced her soul with a demon who fed off of pain and misfortune and made the girl inflict these things on the people around her so he wouldn't starve. Eventually, the demon began to wear her body out and realized that his host was growing weak, so he set out to find a new body to inhabit--and found it in the strongest man in the village. I'm not exactly happy with the ending, but the whole story was borne from song lyrics. :]

EDIT: Thought up another lyric that I really like!

"A laundry list of problems
Doesn't make you interesting
And never getting help
Doesn't make you brave
Not listening to reason
Doesn't mean that you have faith
You're just cutting off your nose
To spite your face."

~ Sympathy for the Martyr by Straylight Run :]
