Am I The Only One Getting The Ps4 And Xbox One At The Same Time

Xbox One vs PS4!!!!!!!! Dissing!?

Why are people dissing the Xbox One when there is nothing wrong with it. People keep saying that it's not a gaming console anymore. It plays games just like the up coming PS4. It has pretty much the same specs I believe. An 8 core processor, 8 gb ram, blu-ray drive. Yes the PS4 has a upgraded graphics chip, but it's not a HUGE issue. Give me your thoughts, be nice. ; )

Xbox one or ps4????????

I personally am going with the Xbox One. I am excited about the new Kinect, i like the exclusives, all my friends play the 360, and i am interested in what they do to integrate the cloud. The con that you put for the Xbox One about always having to be online has been taken away. I feel like if you went with the Xbox one it would be easy to adjust to the controller. they are making games that can use the kinect and controller at the same time. this would help with certain games that just dont have enough buttons to work with. as far as the ps4 goes, i do not doubt that it will be a great console. for the cod games i do not think it is necessary for you to buy an xbox one simply because its dlc will release sooner, doesnt seem like just that is worth 100 more dollars. when it comes down to live, it sounds like the ps4 is cheaper if you pay monthly, but i dont know about having special deals for paying yearly, you can sometimes get xbox live for 40$ on amazon, which is equal to 8 months on ps4 (i apologize if my numbers arent exactly right). buying ps4 live will give you free games monthly. the situation that you mentioned about your friends, are you planning on selling the ps3, if not you will still have some way to contact them. now the whole deal about you being jobless is a big decider in this. i payed nearly 600$ for my xbox one because i bought it from walmart, and i bought a three year warranty, roughly 40 dollars, thats not including buying cod and bf4+season pass

so, after all that being said, whichever console you choose will have its pros and cons, like you just said. if you go the ps4 route, you will be pretty safe to say you will know what you are getting, a console that is designed for gaming and will do just that, but for me, it doesnt scream next gen like the xbox one did. the xbox one has many uncertainties as to how all the new features would play out, i do not doubt that it will be a great console also, i just think it will take more time. buying the xbox one is like being a pioneer in the gaming community, it might be amazing, but it could also screw you over.

so for you, i would recommend buying the ps4

Should I get an Xbox One or PS4?

I am in the U.S. Navy currently stationed in Crete, Greece. I have an Xbox 360 and a PS3 at home that I haven't had sent to me, I have been playing mostly on my friends consoles, and now I want to get an Xbox One or PS4 once the next gen comes out for the system, but I want to see which one people are liking better. Which one do you prefer and why?
Thank you!

Will Xbox One be better than the PS4?

So if you guys watched the reveal of the new xbox, you'd know some things about it. Basically, it can play music (so can my phone), it can play movies (so can a dvd player), it has internet (so does my computer), and its voice activated which is pretty cool but honestly, whose that lazy that they can't go to something on the dashboard by just using the controller.

So the unneeded social aspect has been upgraded but the gaming aspect is still hazy. This is a gaming console, gamers don't need internet and facebook on a xbox. The xbox wont always be on which is good but some games, depending on the developers, may require you have internet connection. And thats where they lose half their customers. Microsoft is already going under because of Apple.. they cant start to get too greedy.

As far as I can see, I may go with the PS4, because its more about gaming and not about socializing, and not to mention will be much much cheaper to own. I don't know how microsoft thinks that non gamers are going to buy an xbox becuase it has the internet, skype, and a blue ray dvd player. If PS4 makes the price just right and doesn't screw it up like last time, I think that they will win over alot of people from xbox. Thats just my opinion. And as far as everyone can tell from today, the new xbox probably wont allow you to play used games. The only thing good about that is that Gamestop, who are greedier than EA or xbox, will take a huge hit from this.

ps. I own a 360, not a ps3, so I'm not bias.

Is it worth buying an Xbox One while I have a PS4?

Definitely. I own Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, and a gaming laptop. If you have a PS4 there will always be games on Xbox One that may be of interest to you that you can't play on PS4. That's obvious. But some of the other reasons to own an Xbox One:1. Backwards Compatibility with Xbox 360 games.2. Frequent Dashboard updates that completely change the Xbox One user interface (new features, faster apps, etc.).3. Windows 10 and Xbox One ecosystem.4. Cloud technology (currently shows promise).5. Upcoming games like Halo 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza 6, Cuphead, Fable Legends, Scalebound, Crackdown 3, Recore, Sea of Thieves, Quantum Break, Gears 4, and more.6. The new Xbox One Elite Bundle.7. The new Elite Controller.8. Some really awesome bundles coming out. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. If you want to know more about the things I listed above the website TechU4ria covers Xbox One info pretty well.

Regretting getting a PS4?

Am i the only feeling a kind of regret for buying the PS4? I dont know if its because i got a next gen console too early (i got in January) Or because i switched from an Xbox 360 to the PS4 and having to get used of the controls and the games. My cousin who also got a pS4 around the same time as me sold it and got an Xbox One. I played it yesterday and he bought Titanfall for it and i was blown away by the game. It made me realize so many FPS im going to miss out on the Xbox, especially Halo 5 since im a huge fan. I was going to get titanfall for the xbox 360 but my xbox 360 broke and i cant get it. Its kind of making me want to sell my PS4 and get an Xbox One. Sony does have awesome exclusives but when it comes to games i actually enjoyed on the Xbox 360 arent there on the PS4. And while my cousin is playing Titanfall my PS4 is literally collecting dust. I dont even know what game to look forward to other than Destiny but thats not even an exclusive and that game doesnt come out until September. I know Infamous just came out but i also hear the game is very short and i dont want to spend $60 on a game that i will be in a day or two.

So my question is, should i sell my PS4 and get the Xbox One? Or should i just wait it out stick with my PS4?????

Do Xbox One games have better graphics than PS4 games?

I am an Xbox addict, but I try to approach all of these Xbox vs. PS4 questions with a level head and an unbiased nature. To answer your question in one word: no. The Xbox One's architecture is more complicated and the hardware less powerful than the PS4. I believe that these are the reasons why so many developers are having such a difficult time cranking up resolution and graphics quality on the xbox and yet it seems easy as pie to accomplish on the ps4. That being said, there are two things I would like to point out (maybe a bit biased):1. The differences in graphical quality and display resolution is not nearly as important as the headlines would have you believe. Resolutiongate? Hardly. On most TV screens, the difference between a 900p game on an Xbox and the same 1080p game on PS4 is barely perceptible and certainly doesn't impact the gaming experience in any meaningful way. As far as framerates are concerned, many have said that games often perform better on the Xbox One. One reviewer (can't recall who) said that in his comparison of Watchdogs (I believe) on both consoles, the lower resolution on the Xbox One actually worked in its favor as it never dropped below 30fps, but the PS4 version would sometimes drop to single digits! Something to think about.2. It will only get better with time. As developers learn more and more about the architecture and how to utilize the system to best suit their needs, then graphics, resolution, etc... are only going to improve. Microsoft has taken great strides in helping developers recently in that area. Freeing up 10% of GPU power by not making the Kinect sensor mandatory is just the start. I think things are going to change somewhat dramatically when DX12 is released next year. All of that said, I don't know if Xbox will ever fully catch up with PS4 in terms of visual quality. It's definitely possible, especially with the recent improvements, but I can't say for sure. Still, that shouldn't hamper your enjoyment of what for me is the clearly superior console, the Xbox One. I hope this has answered your question.
