Should I read The Tale of Two Cities or A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court?

A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. I have never even heard of that book but I can tell you I havent met a person who likes A Tale of Two Cities. I read that in school and I was the only one that liked it lol I must be a big nerd:P It is extremely hard to understand though. I only catched up to what was happening till the middle of the story. That is when it got interesting to me because i actually knew what was going on lol However, that book helped me to learn more about history like the guillotine era and its a pretty important and famous book too, but its up to you..

What is the farthest you can live from nyc and still enjoy the city?

Northern New Jersey, Westchester or Rockland County, NY, or southwestern Connecticut. They're all within 45 minutes' drive of Midtown, BUT you're going to spend pretty big bucks to live there.

(FYI - Scarsdale is one of the MOST expensive suburbs to live in)

I am very introverted but love cities when I am surrounded by lots of people. Is this typical?

It’s very understandable. When you find yourself near someone in a small town, the expectation is to interact with them. You at least acknowledge them if not make small talk. In a big city, the expectation is that you don’t interact. The people near you put no social demands on you and make no personal demands on your interest or mind. And yet, the environment is lively.I think it is these social demands which tire many introverts most. The sheer activity will top of course but “hell is other people.”

Which is the best Australian city to live and work in?

I will be moving to Aust permanently in about 6 months, and I have no friends or family there. I am an accountant (just passed my Australian CPA) by training and would love to live in a city where the cost of living is not too high on an accountant's salary. Please advise on your thoughts on the following cities-Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide.
Anxious abt job prospects, quality of life, safety etc. Thanks guys :)

How did you find out about Owl City?

For me, it was through the radio. I didn't start listening to it until 2011, and on the summer of 2012 the song “"Good Time” was really big and played all the time. I liked it, but never gave it too much thought until a year later. In the summer of 2013, I had a friend over at my house, and he showed me a song called “"Hello Seattle” and I instantly fell in love with it. I asked my friend what the artist’s name was and he told me, ‘Owl City.’ I knew I had to check this artist out.I went through the usual confusion about whether Owl City was a band or a singer, and realized that it was one guy, Adam Young, who did everything. That was pretty amazing. I researched Owl City to buy Hello Seattle and saw that the top hit was a song called Fireflies that I had never heard of before. I pressed the sample button and I was blown away at how amazing the song was.Four years later. I miss Owl City, but the music will be with me forever.

[COUNTRY BOYS ONLY] Do you country boys like city girls or country girls better.?

Not to sound like a total pig... All guys look for the same thing in the beginning: Good looks and a certain moral ambiguity.

Fortunately for you, most guys (city or country) will not include any "poop" activities on the first date. Usually it is still a movie and/or dinner. Being covered head to toe in poop comes later.

As a guy - a backwoods type guy - I would say we like a girl who is assertive. Try making the first move or asking him out.

Good Luck!
