Am I The Only One Who Loves The Vampire Diaries But Hates Twilight

Is twilight better than the vampire diaries?

So I trudged through Twilight while trying to appease a lady friend. Vampire Diaries was one of those, “bored on Netflix need something” shows for me. Some of the teenage love triangle and angst of Vamp D was at times annoying, but I liked the actual vampire parts. I could get past the love stuff because Vamp D had a pretty cool story line. I watched it up until the Originals came out, and frankly I really enjoy the Originals, it’s a cool premise with a cool storyline.Anyways, Twilight not only is so inaccurate with vampires, Stone vampires? Really? The love thing is not only disgusting (which to be frank, Vamp D can be too), but it’s just so unhealthy… Edward can’t let Bella do anything on her own, worried she’ll die… I mean to me, the relationships in Twilight are what puts me over the edge, and just really Stephanie Meyer and what she’s said about the books, I think they’re trash.

Are you a Twilight person, Harry Potter person, or a Vampire Diaries person?

Definitely a Harry Potter person.I am one of the HUGEST Potterheads in the world!I know everything there is to know about the wizarding world and the books. (INCLUDING CURSED CHILD)I love the series and am a master at HP trivia, besides the series is just so good!! The characters are so developed, the books are long, and it’s just masterful writing.I love Twilight as well, I am that one strange extreme Potterhead who loves Twilight. For one, I think a lot of HP fans just hate it because the actor who played Cedric Diggory (RIP -_-) played Edward Cullen. That is an unjustified reason to hate a book series! (Though if you have tried reading it and hated it, or just hate romance in general, I’m fine with that, but to all you others, give Stephenie Meyer a chance!)The books are just so romantic, I love romance so….They are also fairly well written, and I like how the story goes; the characters, the relationships, the general plot.Vampire Diaries. They may be good, I don’t know. But as of now??Never read them, most likely never will.

Poll: Twilight vs. The Vampire Diaries!!!!?

Okay which one do you like better. I like The Vampire Diaries better than Twilight. I usually hate vampire books but my friend told me i should read it and the show is pretty good, so i read it. And she was right! It's really, really good! And all you people can't say that it's copying Twilight b/c the book was written in like the late 90's but the author edited it a lot and decided to wait to get it published. So actually Twilight is copying the Vampire Diaries! So which is your favorite? And why?

Which is better, Supernatural or Vampire Diaries?

Supernatural, obviously !!!SPN is a show which tries to encompass everything unusual and blends it with human emotions and sentiments. We get to see relationships, brotherhood, friendships, all get tested by supernatural forces, both good and evil.Warning : The following points are strictly from my point of view. TVD Fans !!! BEWARE !!! And, No Offence Meant !!!I've seen only 4 seasons of The Vampire Diaries and found it to be extremely boring. The following are the worst parts of the show :-The Twilight Touch : The characters look a lot like the people in Twilight. A centuries-old vampire loves a normal girl who looks exactly like his previous lover who turned him into a vampire centuries ago. What the Fudge ???2. Too many doppelgangers : Almost everyone in the show has had an evil doppelganger in the past, and they return from the dead and create havoc in the lives of the lead characters.3. Dance parties : Since Mystic Falls is centuries-old, everyone in the town keeps a dance party and this is where a plot-twist is given, or a new character/doppelganger is introduced.4. This guy : I've hated this guy ever since episode 1. He sticks his nose into, literally everything his sister does, and gets caught in an awful mess. The lead characters are doing good, if you'd ask me, but the plot-lines tend to get really loose and we are left with so many questions at the end.Again, no offense meant TVD Fans !!!

Why do I hate Vampire Diaries so much now?

I used to be in love with Vampire Diaries, but because it didn't come out till 2 months later I started watching Supernatural. I fell in love with it! Castiel and Dean are my favourite characters. Anyway, when Vampire Diaries came back out I was excited so I watched it and thought it was weird. Then the next episode came out and I kind of liked it. But I just watched the latest episode. I hated it. It is **** as! It's way too complicated and stupid. Why is that? Anyway I am put off watching it. I was halfway through and I was like WTF AM I WATCHING? So I quit watching it and now I am more excited about Supernatural. I am up to Season 7.
Do I hate it because I am used to violence way more if it from Supernatural ? Or what?

Is The Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine better than twilight?

To me, it is all a matter of personal opinion. I like both the Twilight Saga and the Morganville Vampire series very much, but just because they contain vampires does not mean that the two are up for comparison. The Morganville Vampires series is a collection of action novels which (unlike Twilight) contain very VERY little romance. The series is about 16-year-old brainiac Claire Danvers, a girl who graduates from high school early and (at her parents insistence) begins college at a mediocre campus in a small Texas town. After a violent confrontation with a psychotic band of hotties in the girls' dorm, Claire desperately tries to find off campus housing. A classified ad brings her to the doorstep of the Glass House, inhabited by local musician Michael Glass and two of his greatest friends--Goth girl Eve Rosser and eternal goof ball Shane Collins. Though Claire loves her new roommates, the three tell her something very interesting about the town of Morganville. The entire town is controlled by vampires, and the only way to keep a low profile is follow the rules that they have in place (protection money, mandatory blood donations, etc.). There are currently eight books in the series, and they all deal with Claire and her friends battling the vampire regime in Morganville. While I love the series, I will admit that there are some parts where eye rolls are inevitable. In certain parts of the eight books, the characters try too hard to be funny and the dialogue is very stiff. But overall, I would recommend that you give them a try. Are they better than Twilight? I don't think they are nearly as epic, but that is for you to decide.

Why do women love vampires and men love zombies?

According to the book “A Billion Wicked Thoughts,” here’s why women love vampires:Why women love vampires (and werewolves)“Over the past decade, sexy vampires, lusty werewolves, and a wide variety of supernatural beasties have replaced mere mortals as the most popular romance heroes and heroines.”— Page 221Why do women love Edward the vampire or Jacob the werewolf from “Twilight” which has sold over 100 million copies worldwide? It’s because these paranormal heroes are supernatural males, alphas among alphas. They are exceptionally strong, often immortal, know how to fight off evil beings, can protect the ones they love, are often rich, and live in a mansion or castle. Essentially all the traits that females desire, but to the max.Another cue that turns women on is irresistibility. “One of the most fundamental and influential psychological cues for women is irresistibility: the feeling that you are sexually desirable” (pg 109).This explains why so many women have fallen for Edward Cullen. Not only does he display all of the traits listed above, but he also lusts after Bella’s blood which he can’t let himself give in because he loves her.As a result, Bella gets to be desired forever by a supernatural being, by a boyfriend who must continuously prove how much he loves her by controlling himself.Werewolves share some similarities as vampires, but also some differences. Werewolves are known for having monstrous strength and refuse to back down from challenges. Wolf packs have a true designated alpha, a super alpha among alphas. They are also intensely loyal to protecting anyone that is part of the pack, including their human girlfriends. These superheroes also have tough exterior shells, but inside they are soft and kind, which is something many women desire in a male.In the end when you combine this huge mix of turbocharged cues of masculinity, few women are able to resist these supernatural beings.Read the full article and learn more about what men & women want here:"A Billion Wicked Thoughts" by Ogas & Gaddam
