Anxiety or Real Problem?

I have been having trouble eating. I have also been experiencing deep body aches, and small striking pains in my left shoulder and side, not very often though. I have been dizzy on and off as well. Since I have been unable to eat, I feel extremely tired and weak, but if I manage to eat I feel completely uncomfortable. This has been going on for about 2 and a half days now and I am afraid it is becoming an actual problem for me. Naturally, I am paranoid of getting stomach aches, but the fact that I have been so uncomfortable for more then two days is bugging me. I recently had been diagnosed with Epstein- Barr Virus, and for a junior in high school it has been the worst thing to over come. I was placed on augmentin, clindamycin, and zythromyacin, as well as pregneszone. The clindamycin and zythromyacin both gave me body rashes, however, the clindamycin was said to have worked where as the z-pack was stopped after the first dosage, as well as the augmentin originally. All of these have a side effect of nervousness, as well as my "apri" birth control. After all of this, I feel like I am still sick, sluggish, and I can't eat properly or proportionately. I am worried this is not just continuing symptoms of my infection but something new and worse as I am continually uncomfortable. I would greatly appreciate as much information on anxiety or actual diagnosis's. Thank You.

What is the problem with Real Madrid? Why can't they surpass FC Barcelona?

My answer might seem like partisan fawning, but I am not a Barcelona fan by any means. I am just in awe. Barcelona aren't just the best team of last year, or this year. They are an outlier in all of football history. Clubs like Barcelona of the last 8 years come along once in two generations.Real Madrid have been spending since 2008 in a futile attempt to match up to a combination of outrageous talent and revolutionary management. I mean, players like Iniesta, Xavi, Messi, Busquets and Pique are all once-in-a-generation footballers. But all together, in one team? What are the chances? You build a 2008-present dream team, and you would be well served to pick Neuer, Cristiano Ronaldo and 9 Barcelona players.What Pep Guardiola brought to an already-talented team was a devastating mix of pressure and possession that saw the best in the continent unable to live with them. Extraordinary footballers like Ronaldo, Rooney and van Persie, who score bagfuls against mere mortals, made to chase shadows for 70% of a football match, and harried endlessly for the other 30%. It was eerie. It was magnificent.Pep Guardiola left in 2012, and Barca did not win the European cup for 3 years after 2011. But Vilanova ensured Mourinho's points record did not even last a year. Then came Luis Enrique, who put a lie to the belief that Guardiola's Barcelona could not be improved upon. Armed with long balls and set piece goals, they made Juventus, PSG and Bayern, the continent's best, look like muppets. Like they'd never been away.Most clubs have a short burst of domination after which they fade for a while. Not Barcelona. They are relentless. All the while they are adding more weaponry to their arsenal, never satisfied. They lose a semifinal and eulogies are written, then back they come with two European Cups in three years. Much like the way they play on the pitch, letting you have the ball for 6 seconds before snatching it from you and putting two past you before you can say 'tiki taka'.The final but possibly most important aspect is how managers have brought together the big names at Barcelona while Real Madrid have largely been a group of individuals and little more. This is not a battle that Real can win with money. Barcelona splashed amounts as royal as anything Real Madrid can manage to recruit Neymar, Suarez and Rakitic to play along with their homegrown talents so they could stay ahead.And they have.

Whats my real problem ? Whats my real ambition ? Why do I feel I am late?

If you want to be a doctor because of their "power,"don't.

Doctors don't have the power you think they do.

Becoming a doctor for any reason other than helping patients does a terrible disservice to the patients.

I am having a real problem with this word problem. Using a demand equation? Demand Curve?

I have seen similar problems before. This is actually a very interesting application. A retailer can change his price at will, but the demand for his product will vary based partly on his price and partly on what demand already exists. There is an old cartoon showing a little girl behind a makeshift lemonade stand. The sign say Lemonade 1 glass for $1000. A man comes by and says "You won't get many sales with a price like that." The girl replies "I don't have to sell a lot. I just need to sell one."

Let us treat the data the way it is properly treated, points to be used for and equation. (p, d).
Your points are (20, 42) and (10, 52). The slope is 10/(-10) = - 1.

Our linear equation, thus far is d = -1 p + b, where b is the y-intercept. Lets pick a point and plug it in to find b.
52 = -1 (10) + b ---> 62 = b

Our line PROPERLY WRITTEN is d = -1p + 62 This is based on the fact that the independent variable is the PRICE, not the DEMAND. The book looks like it wants it written solved for the PRICE. So rewrite the equation to:
p = -1d + 62 Your book uses x for demand rather than d, probably because the author cannot spell. If your teacher is a math-nazi, write the equation a p = -x + 62

You are always allowed to replace something with its equivalent. So we replace p in R=xp with that we just found p is equal to.
R = x(-x + 62) ---> R = -x^2 + 62x

Does this help?

SIDE NOTES
In fact, the R found here is the expected revenue based on an expected demand. Unfortunately, the retailer does not control the demand, he can only control his price. It would have been more useful for the retailer to replace DEMAND with what it is based on his PRICE.
R = (-p + 62) p = -p^2 + 62p (This is just like the other one, only because of the -1 slope and the symmetry inherent in lines)
This equation would tell him what revenue to expect, given what price he charges.

In this problem, the DEMAND EQUATION is equation that relates the the price and the demand. If this equation is plotted, you get (in general terms) a DEMAND CURVE. In this problem your "demand curve" turns out to be a "demand line".

With the proper REVENUE CURVE (What you get if you plot the revenue equation, see a pattern here?), the retailer could determine a 'best price' for him to charge to maximize his revenue.

How can I stop hating fat people? I have a real problem with them. I am a few pounds overweight myself and far from perfect, but when I see obese people in the street I automatically hate them. If it affects their life, shouldn’t they want to change?

First, good for you for realizing that you need to get over this irrational hatred. It is at least a good starting point.I apologize if someone has already made this point, but you’re making a whole bunch of assumptions here in just one sentence in your question: “I don’t think everybody should be perfect Barbie and Ken dolls, but if you are so grossly overweight that it affects your life why wouldn’t you do something about it?”Assumption 1: They aren’t doing something about it.Gaining more than 50 pounds certainly doesn’t happen overnight. Taking that weight off doesn’t happen overnight either. You cannot tell, just by looking at someone who is that much overweight, whether or not they are doing something about it. For all you know, they were even more overweight, and how you are seeing them at this point in time represents a significant weight loss.Assumption 2: They are reasonably capable of doing something about it, by your definition of “doing something about it.”One of my significantly overweight friends has mobility issues. They aren’t from her weight. She smashed her kneecap and has a hinged replacement. She has to use a cane to get around, and a walker for longer distances. She can’t do a theme park without a wheelchair of some kind. This limits, at least to some degree, the amount of exercise she can get.She was also born with a particular health syndrome that makes it extremely difficult to lose weight. I won’t go into details, as they’re not mine to tell. But the best she can manage with this mix is to control her portions and not GAIN any more weight. It’s not a matter of character or self-control in this case so much as what is medically possible.Here’s a general thing to keep in mind, whether you’re looking at a person who is overweight or underweight: you don’t know their history, you don’t know their background, you don’t know how they got to be however they are, you don’t know how they feel about being however they are, you don’t know what they’re doing to change it.And from your statement about being maybe a few pounds overweight, you don’t know how hard it is to lose a significant amount of weight, even without a condition that makes it harder. It is not even remotely easy, and anything one does or tries has trade offs.That’s about all I can coherently manage at this hour. I hope it helps.
