I’m far from an expert, but I know enough to tell you this: it depends on a lot of variables.If I understand correctly, YouTubers are paid per click on banner ads or per view on video ads (viewers that don’t click the “skip” button). But your click-through rates are also going to be affected by how effectively your ads have been targeted to your specific audience. But as the other answers will show, estimations are all over the place, as there are so many variables at play. But I think they all go to show one thing:YouTube isn’t something that you can pick up and immediately rake loads of money from. It takes a lot of time, effort, and dedication to build up a large enough audience to get these sorts of numbers, probably with investments in recording equipment, software, etc. along the way. You have to really enjoy making videos to get started on YouTube, and after a while you may be able to transition it from being a hobby that you keep participating in and spending money on simply because you enjoy it into a secondary source of income, and possibly at some point your primary or only source of income.

The minimum age for YouTube is 13, not saying anyone listens to that rule.If you are reviewing kid’s stuff or playing games like Minecraft, Club Penguin, or Webkinz, or whatever the kids play nowadays, I’d say at least 8. then you have basic ability to use a camera, talk, edit or have someone edit, and hopefully you don’t get upset when someone says something mean.If you are making DIYs, Beauty/Clothes/Makeup videos, or any other tutorial, depending on what it is I’ll say 16 years old. If you are doing something like fixing cars or using tools to make something, use safety precautions and a “don’t try this at home” warning.If you want to make information or theory videos, I’d say at least 15 depending on the subject.If you want to make a series or collab channel of any kind, then I’d say the owner of the channel (who used the email to create the channel) should be at least 17. The cast of people in the videos can be whoever.If you are making a daily vlog series of any kind, you should be at least 20 years old.
