Am Looking For Some Cheap Car

What are some good cheap tuner cars?

I am 16 years old. I am looking for a car that can be built to look like a "street-racing" car. Notice how I put quotes around street racing? Well i don't street race. I just like the look of those cars. I was wondering if anybody out there knew of any cool cheap cars(perferably 1990-2000) that I can turn into a cool looking car. Please help.

What's a great cheap used car for under 5 grand? I am looking for a reliability decent gas mileage and either average speed or off road capabilities

Hmmm... You have not specified where you are located, so assuming you are on Quora or more commonly the internet. You have not specified 5 grand in which currency, so assuming the internet or more specifically bitcoin. Then I have very good news for you:There are actually two cars you can buy easily with 5 grand. New. And you have a lot of your money left. They both come with exceptional gas mileage and not only average speed, but actually insane and ludicrous speed. The even better news is that because of your funds, you can choose a top of the line configuration (just select everything available), so the production of your vehicle gets expedited. You probably got it, I am talking about Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X.Now seriously: without knowing your location aka market and your currency, you'll wait for a usable reply a while. Please update your question to include relevant info.Update: thanks for sharing the details. I would suggest to have a look at jeep Cherokees. Make sure to get the I6 4.0l engine. You should be able to pick up a truck for easy less than the 5k you have, leaving some room for repairs.

I am looking to buy a cheap but fun to drive car from the 80s or 90s that won't be expensive to maintain. Other than Camrys, Accords, Civics, etc., are there any good and cheap driver cars from that era I can look for?

1st generation Toyota MR2.  Great handling, good power, reliable, and for the most part, the parts are cheap.  A second generation Mazda Miata will work as well, they're arguably more expensive, but handling won't be as good as the MR2 because of vehicle design, but it'll do pretty well.  The Nissan 240SX would have been a good choice, but it's especially popular with the drifting crowd, so prices have been inflated and most of them have some sort of body damage or other. These are all vehicles in the sub $7,500 USD range.  For a car to be fun to drive, it must have: above average acceleration 0-60 <8.9 seconds Good handlingGood body characteristics in turnsBe cheap to upgradeA cheap sub $1,000 DIY coilover suspension upgrade, which can be done with basic hand tools, for any of these cars would make them amazing fun through mountain roads, switch backs.PS-Stay safe and don't break any laws.

I am looking for a cheap rental car one way?

I live in New York City and am planning a road trip. The plan is to drive from here to North Carolina and I am looking for a company that rents one way with rates that are affordable (since all the big companies charge around 80$/day). We would be flying back to save some time.
We are willing to take a train to New Jersey or Newark airport if this will help and starting our road trip there.. any suggestions for a company that might have rates for less than 50$/day?

Cheap cars with good gas mileage?

I would recommend a Toyota, Honda or Nissan sedan from the 90s. These cars all got good mileage and held up well. Buying an older sedan will also keep your insurance lower. If you have good grades, you may be able to get a discount for that as well. I'm glad to see that you are buying used!

What are some loopholes to get car insurance at a cheap price?

The best loophole is to lie. When you do this the insurance company thinks you’re a great risk and gives you a great price.A really good lie is to say you live someplace you don't. Pick a place that is really conservative and safe. Say you’re a homeowner, too, even if you’re not. So this will give you a great rate based on the zip. It will also prevent the insurance company from running a credit score. If you’re credit is the worst, this will make it better. You can also lie about your age. There’s a big difference between being 21 and being 25. While you’re at you could lie about being married, just make your spouse a non-driver. You could even lie about your gender, often females are less expensive than males. Omit, high risk drivers in your house though. You could lie about your insurance too. If you don’t have insurance tell them you do. Of course you’ll need to create some fake documents to pull it off but it will help. There is a down side though, it’s a crime. If it’s found out you could be facing charges and be relegated to high risk insurance policies for a very long time.In seed of lying maybe, just maybe, an independent agent can help you shop for good coverage at a fair price.
