Am Suppose To Resive A Comfarmation Message From Facebook But I Did

What is a confirmation code on Facebook?

Facebook has added several security features to keep your account safe from attackers and spammers. Some of these features use your mobile phone to alert you about activity on your account and to request and receive security codes to log into your Facebook account. Facebook One-time Passwords allow you to request a unique code to log into your account from untrusted public or borrowed computers. This system protects your account because you need your account password and a code that is sent to your phone. Facebook Login Approvals send codes to your mobile phone when you log into your Facebook account from a computer that you have not used before. Facebook Login Notifications alert you when your account is accessed from a computer have not used before. All of these advanced Facebook security features take advantage of a device that you are likely to be carrying nearly all of the time. Mobile phones are a quick way for Facebook to notify you about login activities on your account and to give you access to your account when you are using a different computer. To use these features, you need to register your mobile phone with Facebook. By registering, you confirm that you are the owner of the phone. The registration process is designed to ensure that you have the phone in your possession. This is accomplished by having you send a brief message to Facebook’s text messaging number. Once you do, you will receive a reply text message with a code that you then enter into mobile phone configuration on Facebook’s web site.

How Do I Disable Confirmation Delete Messages?

Every time I delete an email, or several emails, I get a pop-up message that states, verbatim, Delete All Messages - Are you sure you want to delete all x the selected messages? OK or Cancel.

This confirmation is really driving me mad.

Could somebody please offer a solution whereby I can disable this feature?

TIA

Raymond

Do you reply to random people messaging you on facebook?

Listen, Lauren - You're 14 years old and really shouldn't even be allowed on line until your parents have given you the lecture of being smart on the Internet. Since you think it's rude to not confirm a friend request, do you also think it's rude not to accept a ride from a stranger in real life? Yes, it's the same thing. A stranger is a stranger.

Your parents are being irresponsible by not supervising you, at least at first, so they could teach you what is and isn't appropriate for a girl your age to be doing on line.

Do not listen to the person who told you that Facebook is so you can make friends all over the world. That person isn't taking your age into consideration, or the fact that you find it creepy that random older guys are asking to friend you, then message you when you confirm. It IS creepy. It's like an older guy hitting on you at the park. Do not friend anyone you don't know. Until you are older and less naive, you need to treat the Internet like the real world. You don't talk to strangers in the real world, so don't talk to them on the Internet.

Delete all these random "friends", then block them so they can't find you again. Trust me on this.

Is it possible to tell if someone has ignored your Facebook friend request?

"Not Now" isn't used any more (this question is from 2012), but when they did use it, it meant the same as "ignore".  The button nowadays reads (in English) "Delete Request":There are three things you can do with a FB friend request: you can "confirm" or accept it, you can deny, ignore, or "delete" it, or you can leave it sit in limbo indefinitely (which is what I do to my random requests from people I have little to no idea who they are).  If you delete the friend request, the person who sent it will know, because the "add friend" button will show up on your profile, but if the request is still pending, it will not.
