How do I write a letter to the principal of a school asking to conduct a workshop in their institution?

There are few important points to consider when writing a request letter. Proper greeting should be used, and the request stated clearly and in straightforward way. The importance of the request letter should be outlined, then the letter should be closed politely.Below is a sample of a formal request letter.[date][Sender’s address][[Recipient’s address]On behalf of XYZ institution, I am requesting for permission to conduct a workshop in your school. The theme of the workshop will be ‘making the right career choice’. Students will be allowed to engage professionals from XYZ where they will ask questions on how well they can prepare to join higher learning institutions. There are many intuitions of higher learning offering diverse courses. The main objective of the workshop will be to discuss how students can make the right career choices, prepare for the challenges ahead during studying, and how to apply the acquired skills after graduating. These insights are important for career development in future. We intend to conduct the workshop within the school on [date]. This will be an entire day workshop.Your consideration will be highly appreciated.Sincerely,[your name]When writing a request letter, it’s important to ensure it’s simple, brief and straight to the point. Including too much information may confuse the recipient or distort the message that was supposed to be passed to the reader. You can read a few more sample request letters here.

How can I make a habit of waking up early in the morning?

For me, waking up early in the morning comes down to 3 things.Having good sleep hygiene. You can’t wake up early if you aren’t well-rested. So step one is get your sleep hygiene in order. To do so, follow these simple rules.Schedule Sleep – Don’t get up and go to bed at wildly different times each day. That messes with your body’s natural sleep cycles and makes it harder for you to fall asleep fast, stay asleep, and wake up refreshed.Don’t Sabotage Your Sleep – Avoid late-in-the-day caffeine from coffee, tea, energy drinks or sodas. Don’t take stimulants such as tobacco. Avoid heavy, greasy, or spicy meals near bedtime as well.Make a Sleep Sanctuary – Keep your bedroom dark, neat, and between 60 – 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Don’t bring work, bills, or other stress-causers into your bedroom. Make sure your pillows, sheets, blankets and mattresses are comfortable.Work Hard, Play Hard. During the day, get physical exercise and sunlight. Both will set you up for a more restful sleep at night. Don’t take naps either, as they’ll have the opposite effect.Ease Into Bedtime – Have a glass of warm milk or read a book. Avoid the blue light emitted from electronic devices such as phones and tablets.Having a habitual morning routine.Have a nice morning routine that you enjoy and look forward to. Here’s my advice, but feel free to create your own.You can read more about my morning routine here: How to Have a Great Morning: 4 Steps to the Perfect Morning RoutineHaving a purpose in your life. You can’t be eager to get up early if there is no purpose in your life. I read a great quote last week that said something along the lines of “Successful people feel about Mondays like regular people feel about Fridays.” You should have something in your life that you damn well can’t live without. That you are hungry for. That you are excited about. Then you won’t have to drag yourself out of bed - you’ll be pulled out every morning by your passion. For more life tips, check out Improve My Life This Year

How is mother tongue important?

Speaking purely for myself: My mother tongue is not recognised as a proper language. It is merely a dialect. It is spoken in some limited pockets in a particular State in South India. Nearly the entire population that spoke this dialect has emigrated to other parts of the country and the world. This dialect uses words from the two recognized full fledged and highly developed languages of   two adjacent states in South India and the script of one language  is used to write it.  No school teaches this dialect . It is not the medium of instruction in any school. There are no text books. There is no recognized literature in the language. For literature  we read either of these languages it resembles (and some read both) Most of us depend on English as our preferred language for reading high quality literature. Those of us who are eager to have a regional identity, choose one of these states to "belong to".I learned this dialect at the lap of my mother who is now no more. I use it to speak only  to my wife and children  and close relatives in my age group who share my linguistic background. But the language fails me often  and I have to switch to  words and phrases from other recognised languages including English to communicate effectively. This language has no commercial importance. The only advantage is that it has enabled us to be familiar with and speak the two recognized major languages it is based on and become bilingual outside our homes. By learning this dialect, you unwittingly learn two languages. It is merely of sentimental value for me now.The dialect I am talking about is Paalakaad Tamil spoken by the Iyers of Kerala. The two major regional languages I have mentioned are Tamil and Malayalam.GV

Is BDS dental a good career option?

It is a good career option if you can put your 100% , if you have huge money in pockets, and 5–8 years to spend on learning !!I will tell you Indian scenario in private dental college. You have to attend CLG for 5 years. There is back system if you fail two exam and in final year,if u fail in one exam you will suffer 6 month back. In short, you have to spend 5–7 years in a dental CLG .You have to do clinic work + theory + patients. (You should be good at multitasking + handling stress)In private clg, BDS fees is 3 lacs per year.300000 * 5 = rs 15,00000 + books + dental material + project material ..Suppose u r staying in hostel in private clgIt will be above 70000rs on average. After passing out of CLG, you are lucky if you have parents in same profession otherwise you have to make really good contacts to learn under some clinician (private clg do not have enough facilities and patient are less in no ,, so skills are half taught in private dental college even after paying so much). You will be paid 5–7 k in a private clinic (fresher)..yes it is very lessMds will be 3 years long .. again prepare for neet PG … and go for counseling (4–8 seats per college) ….mds is not at all easy… needs dedication .forget social life.. After passing out… you will end up as consultant or opening up clinic because there is very less vacancy in hospital.Only BDS is nothing.Doing pg or mba or short term course will make you valuable in market. Too much competition in market. Lot of quacks in market. It is better to go abroad and do medical courses after 12. You will definitely earn very good .If you don't believe. Kindly Google “”petition by Indian dentist””Contact at least 4–5 people before entering any profession , they will clearly tell the scenario of that particular field and the challenges along with it !It is my opinion about BDS field, I m very sorry if anybody feels my answer is not matching their views about it !
