What would happen if I flew the American flag in Iran?

Just try it in broad day light, especially in front of what once was the American embassy in Tehran ( before the hostage crises of 1979) and grand religious bigot Khomeini called the “den of spies”. The Den Spies is adorned with symbolic Anti-American murials galore. That would be an awesome place to unfurl your American flag and gain unwanted attention. lol.The Mollas ( Ayatollahs ) wouldn’t be too amused though. Their sense of humour (if they have any) doesnt extend to any matters American. An informer, a Basiji ( islamic footsoldier and religious police) would report/ arrest you asap, you maybe whipped quite a bit so you bleed alittle and if you are really lucky you will eventually be hauled before a Kangaroo Revolutionary Guard Corps (Sepah e Pasdaran) Court to make an aquaintance with these Islamic Fascists who would have a field day in exploiting your case for their own Anti-American propaganda. It would be a great boon for them because they would label you foreign stooge (US / CIA sponsored) / agent (even if you are not) and would (falsely), force you to make confessions under duress, and claim that your action constitutes a deliberate provocation and as such is undeniable proof that the USA is JUST hellbent on subverting the “pristine” Islamic values in Iran and causing turmoil in the Islamic Dictatorship of Iran.Flying the American Flag could even be deemed by these of these Islamic Fascists ( the religious hardliners) as promoting corruption against God. That usually carries the death sentence. So still interested in trying to fly the American flag in Iran ?

What does the Tahiti flag stand for?

Hi!

The Tahitian flag actually is the flag of the Pomare family, specifically for King Pomare V of Tahiti. The Pomares are the main royal family in Tahiti.

It has NO real meaning or symbolism. The reason why red and white colors have been chosen is that they are the royal colors of the royal Family of Tahiti.

The true flag of Tahiti though is different from French Polynesia:

What the above answerer said actually pertains to the Flag of French Polynesia, to which Tahiti belongs.

If the U.S gains another state, what will happen to all the 50 state flags?

Yes, Yes, Yes, and Yes.The last time stars were added to the flag was in 1960, when Hawaii was admitted as a state. This isn’t exactly ancient history.Given that it’s not a sudden process, I imagine that federal government agencies would have a new flag ready for the day Puerto Rico officially became a state. There would probably be ceremonies and all sorts of to-do as old flags were retired. I believe that state and local government buildings had a two year period to swap out their flags for the new one. Military flag patches and such would be swapped out the same day, or as soon as available for deployed troops. The fate of privately owned flags would be up to the owner. Patriotic organizations, such as the American Legion, VFW, Elks, Eagles, Moose, Boy Scouts, etc would definitely update their flags on the official day. Citizens who like to stay up to date on things would get a new flag, others would not. Eventually the old design flags would wear out and be retired or put into storage and replaced, just like the 48 star flags and all the versions before were.

U.S. History Help ASAP ? ?

I am very behind in my history class. Please help me.

I have to tell what the violation is and which amendment provides protection.
1. A customer says that Betty cheated her out of $2,000 at Betty's store. The customer then sues Betty. Because Betty believes the evidence will prove her innocent, she asks the judge for a jury trial. The judge says it would be a waste of time, and that he will settle the matter himself.

2. Juanita lives near a factory that puts foul-smelling smoke in the air. Juanita and her neighbors call a meeting at Juanita's house to discuss what they can do about the smoke. However, the police block the entrance to the home and tell people that they have no right to hold a meeting.

Please answer. Thanks in advance.

Will the United States ever add more stars to their flag, or do you predict that their territories will never become states?

Puerto Rico is the most likely of all the current U.S. territories to become a state sometime in the future, hopeful sooner rather than later. Since the people of PR have voted for statehood in 2012 and 2017. So most definitely more stars are going to be added. As for the other territories? I'm not too sure. D.C. residents should get a fully capable delegation in the House but not in the Senate, while the other territories should at minimum have the ability to vote for President as DC currently has, but both of those changes require a constitutional amendment and those are understandably hard. But the situation of those places must be changed ASAP to the sake of fairness.
