PG&E deposit for a new account?
I just moved into a place in San Francisco and now I'm getting a bill from PG&E for a one-time $85 deposit because my account is new. I asked some people about it and they said they never had to pay for any deposit. Can someone tell me if you've been charged for the same thing or is this some kind of scam from PG&E? Thanks a lot.
What banks post direct deposit early, MD, PG County?
I hear there are banks that post direct deposit (payroll) into bank accounts one day earlier then what the check is dated for. I know some are federal credit unions but are there any other banks that do this? OR do you know how I can find out? thank you!!

pg&e does & you pay it when they in stall I think but you could probably have them put it on your first bill

Currently I m also facing this situation.If u wanna leave pg finally,just ask him to return you deposits.If he denies then you make it know to your guardian. If they cant help u, threaten owner for police complaint, probably your pg owner would not have a license.He will bow down to and will return your money.If threatening do not sorts out the problem, then finally go for complaint.And keep always one thing in mind,Never allow ur new pg owner to call you “BETA”.

This is the common case every where in Bangalore and in some area in Karnataka. Though Kannada people in office are really helpful and friendly but local people are extremely greedy. They will never returns the rentadvance at the time of leaving the house. They doesn't even have basic moral when they need to return others money. Don't know how they feed their family with the stolen rentadvance and show their face to their daughter and son who are sometimes in same age as that of tenant. End of day these house owner will become ideal hero to his wife and daughter and son as he make them happy by providing a luxurious life style. It's doesn't matter how they earned. Finally a corrupted person always produce a corrupted generation. So one day their own buddy will kick out them and that is the reward the canning house owner will get certainly.

It has nothing to do with First Hawaiian. It's when your employer has the money transfered from their payroll account. Whenever the money arrives, it gets posted but may not be available until the system updates at midnight or the next business banking day. Ask a teller at First Hawaiian.
