How Do You Remember Anime Chracters Names?

I just have a somewhat good memory for some reason. Sometimes I remember names, sometimes I don't, probably depending on how much I liked an anime. If I wanted to remember a name, I sometimes go back to the anime and see the name of a chararcter i like again and again. Some animes repeat a character's name so many times that I remember it clearly :).

and how do you pronounce Channad? you probably the anime "Clannad". The "h" is actually a "l". Just pronouced as Clan-nad (like how you simply say a clan or guild and "nad" as in like "lad". if you acutally mean "Channad", you say Chan-nad (the first syllable like Channel, and the second syllable as in again like "lad")

The name of the anime with a girl in a fish costume?

I was looking to see if anyone knows the name. I saw the first few episodes when they were shown on On Demand on Comcast in the Anime Network. From what I remember the girl showed up in a fish costume in the land and fell on another girl which earned her one sticker or something on her card for defeating her which makes the other girl mad and want revenge. Another part I remember were these two woman officers where on was more responsible in the other. If anyone can tell me, it would be great appreciated cause I want to watch it again.

Help me remember this mecha anime!?

So I only saw the first episode of this anime and I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me!

The art style seemed fairly recent. The main characters seemed to be primarily female. They were dressed in kinda victorian dresses, maybe some type of royalty? They were flying on a ship that was like a flying castle with a courtyard. They were then ambushed by a white mech, with a male pilot, who had been sitting on a hill in some sort of liquid shell. He was being instructed by some organization, don't remember much about it. Once he landed on the she one of the chicks ran off and changed into a skin tight suit and hopped into a red mech. She stepped into some liquid stuff and got into the mech. the two mechs fought and that all I remember. Hope you can help! it is driving me crazy!

Whats this anime I remember I can't think of the name?

It sounds like blood+, but they never showed blood+ on cartoon network.

YES, It is definately blood+, it had a girl who slept for years at a time called Saya, and she went around killing Kyropterans with her Chivalier Haji.

An episode involved blue roses.

Blood+ is the anime you are looking for.

How do you keep track of characters names in Anime?

You memorize their names because those animes have 50+ episodes and very popular they have their own videogames/ lots of merchandise/stuff . and the one below mostly are 13-26? episodes so you easily forgot them ^^

Well I forgot some Names but usually if they get MORE SCREEN TIME or I found that character INTERESTING. I can't forgot who they are.
But It's Kinda Impossible to memorize all the character names (especially Gintama :P) mostly we can only remember the main characters and some (not all) of the supporting character
If the supporting character is interesting or has a nickname I might remember it.

I love Angel Beats (there's only 13 eps I think so you easily forgot them)
It's really nice to watch it all again Here's a list of the angel beats characters:

Anyway i really hope my answer satisfies you :)

What was your first anime?

My very first anime was “Rurouni Kenshin : Meiji Kenkaku Romantan”, also popular as the name “Samurai X”.I start watching this anime when I was 8 (in 2001). This show was aired in Japan from 1996 to 1998. But in my country (Bangladesh) this was only accessible after 2000 (probably) when state-owned national TV channel (BTV) staretd airing this show. But unfortunately this channel never completed the show (94 episodes). They showed first 30 episodes for many times and skipped the main arc “Kyoto Arc” (Shishio Arc). At that time internet was not that much available for everyone, so I couldn’t access this anime.Another thing is that, I didn’t know the main difference between anime and cartoon at that time and also for a long time after that. I started watching anime again at the age of 20 and this time the name is again “Rurouni Kenshin”.This time I’ve collected this whole series (94 episodes) and OVA (4 episodes Movie: Trust and Betrayal) and completed them within 4 days. The series itself is a great work, and the movie can be treated as masterpiece.Till now I’ve watched more than 6000 episodes from different anime/OVA/anime movies. But this 98 episodes are something different and special to me.My Anime List (MAL) Rating : 8.42/10MAL Ranking: 147My Personal Rating: 8.75+Personal Ranking: In my Top 15 (Out of 200+ series, 50+ OVA, 70+ movies I have watched)Recommendation Priority: 10/10

What was the first anime you ever watched?

I started watching Dragonball Z (DBZ) when I was a kid, and I still watch it whenever I get to.It’s one of the best anime ever! Don’t trust me? You’d believe Google at least. I guess. Go to Best Anime ever!It comes under Shounen genre. But there’s a lot more in it than that. Not just action, there’s comedy, there’s romance and most of all, a lot to learn from.Let’s see what DBZ has to teach us about the life:DBZ has taught us that limitations only exist if you let them.At first going Super Saiyan was the limit, until Kakarot (our own Goku) kept surpassing himself and attaining the power of a God!What does that tell us?Your only limit is… you! There will be times when you’ll feel nobody believes in you, appreciates you and that nothing really matters, But you must keep going no matter what!No one has ever made himself great by showing how small someone else is.Never Give up!Know pain!To know Gains!!Never quit! Losing is temporary.. Quitting lasts forever!Always be kind. Especially when your enemy is vulnerable.Don’t have regrets!Just will with themand they won’t be sticking around for long!Train Insaiyan! If you have time to sit on the computer, you have time to train!Just get on with it already! In the end - Dragonball Z (Anime music video)I think it’s the best anime ever! Some people will condemn this statement, But in the end, it doesn’t even matter! :D“I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good! Nightmare to you!” - Son GokuImage source: GoogleQuotes: 10 Things Proves That Dragon Ball Z Is The Best Anime Ever - Anime Blog

What is the first anime you've seen?

The very very first anime I watched was half an episode of Idaten Jump. I was scrolling through the channels on cable TV and I stumbled across the Animax channel, and decided to try it. I wasn't sure what was going on during Idaten Jump, especially since I only caught like the last 7 minutes of it, so I continued watching and the next anime that was playing was xxxHolic.I never completed the whole anime, nor do I really remember what it was about, but I know I loved it, and thus began my journey into the anime world. I watched a few other series besides that, namely the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Hayate the Combat Butler, but I never watched them in order and was extremely confused as to what was going on.The first anime that really sucked me in was FullMetal Alchemist, though I've read a few manga that I really enjoyed (Gakuen Alice anybody?) before that. To be fair, I read the manga first and then watched both FMA and FMA Brotherhood, but it was my absolutely favourite at the time, and still is up to this day.I've since watched many anime and have quite the extensive to watch list, and even though I'll never remember the plot of Idaten Jump or xxxHolic (might watch them someday as tribute), they will always hold a special place in my heart.
