Need help with area to right of z score -.355?
I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong with this simple math problem. I need to find the area to the right of z score -0.355. Using the table, I go down to -0.3. I then go over to .06 (rounding up from .55?) I get .35942. Subtracting this from 1 I get .64058 However, my textbook says the answer is .6387. I can't figure out where my error is. Thanks for any help! (If I don't round .355 to .36, I still get the wrong answer).

Vacant land can be very expensive in the best towns. It’s not uncommon for someone to tear down the existing house to build a new house in affluent neighborhoods in the Bay Area. In Atherton, for example, older houses are bought for millions just to get the lot.If you can afford the lot and an architect to design a house for you, it will likely be a very good investment. As long as you build a marketable property, it will be far more valuable than your initial investment in a few years.Architects cost roughly 10 to 15% of the construction costs. That does not include the thousands it can take for an entitlement process. That is, getting the plans approved and being issued a building permit. In most cases it’s the development of the region and distances…The rural area would generally have a lower concentration of population and less diversity (you might - depending on the size - have a medical centre, dental care, educational providers, entertainment providers, food vendors, informational infrastructure…). And again, depending on the size and character of the rural area they might be specific (high school for mechanics and farming… but no art classes, mining, engineering, IT…), two restaurants with local quisine (but no place that offers foreign food - chinese, thai, mexican, indian, italian… restaurant), community theatre - but no opera house…Therefore the rural society offers only a small amount of supporting jobs, which are connected to the offer the society has.So, if you want to become (wild example) a conductor at the opera, you cannot become one in that rural society. If you want to set up an online business, you cannot do that if the connections are not good enough, if you want to set up a vet station for pets, you cannot do that, if people only need vets for large farm animals… so your choices are limited.Also, once you move out of the rural area for studies, and start looking for job opportuinites in urban centres, there’s a better chance… so unless a steady lifestile awaits you back in the rural area (family farm that can support you and your own family that you will set up) you are not really looking forward to going back.
