An Egyptian Guy Moving Out To Netherlands

What are the chances of an atheist Egyptian man getting asylum in Germany?

Getting asylum in Germany is not that simple. Simply being an atheist in Egypt is most likely not sufficient. There are cases from people, who were actually harassed by the Egyptian police and their claim for asylum was rejected. If those cases are rejected what do you think would happen to a claim from a non-harrassed atheist?Egypt is not known for persecuting atheists. Even if you life in a neighborhood, where there are people harassing you because of your lack of faith, you could simply move somewhere else. So, if your only reason for asylum would be that you are an atheist, your chances are zero.

Do you want to move out of Egypt ?

After the egyptian revolution, I had a hope to see something that is REALLY better, but now i'm totally disappointed after the big divide between religious people and free people, my faith to see anything better in this country anymore has died and i totally lost it .. for real, First off i just became 16 years old a month ago, I still have a chance to build a new life.. new everything because im totally different of other people surrounded by me, i have different thoughts and great hopes for future but you know.. my parents, they will hardly support me on doing such a thing at this current age because im not all free yet, they said after education even tho i didn't discuss much with them, only one small convo and they said when you complete education, I'm still in 2nd thanwy, that means i still have one more year to move to the university, i want to continue educating it in outside such as US, UK or Australia, I'm really confused about which country shall i go, whatever it was it will be better than this country obv :/, What do you think ? Would you leave egypt if you had the chance to after the current political stuff? btw, about my skills, i am a web programmer and good at technology-related stuff, Been coding since 2009 and really good with it

Are Egyptian Men mostly honest or just after a european wife for passport?

We met whilst i was on holiday in hurghada, to be honest there was four different men chasing after me, which shocked me as its usualy my daughter who gets all the attension...I know these men where only after on thing, however, the man who i fell in love with, did not chase after men or presurise me, we just kind of got to know each other through my kids playing football with him and then chatting. it was the first time in 7 years that i looked into a mans eyes and melted... My heart used to miss a beat if he walked passed and smiled at me, it was a very slow process...He is very shy and a private person, he loves his country and his family...His mother is sick and i know he would not leave her...Which all causes me to be unsure... my heart tells me i love him... but then i question myself, if it progressed, where would we live ect... i could not leave my family and he could not leave his...It is wonderful to feel loved for once, and im trying to enjoy it while it lasts, but what then

Are Dutch descendants in South Africa (Afrikaners) entitled to Dutch citizenship today if they return to the Netherlands?

The Boers were not uniformly Dutch when they settled in South Africa. There were many Huguenots among them who were first or second generation refugees to the Netherlands from France when Louis XIV repealed the Nantes Edict in 1685. That is why you get so many Afrikaners with names like Villiers, Marais, Malan etc. Protestantism is no longer banned in France, but I don't think that France will have the Afrikaners … not "back", because they never lived there; France most likely won't let the Afrikaners settle there, French surnames or not.In any case, the Netherlands washed its hands off South Africa more than 200 years ago. I doubt that many Afrikaners would be able to feel at home in the Netherlands today. It is a completely alien land to them.

Von Dutch reference in the Disney Cars movie?

The Von Dutch Influence
Kenny “Von Dutch” Howard is credited with reviving the pinstriping of cars and motorcycles in the mid-forties. Starting as a motorcycle mechanic, Von Dutch borrowed brushes from his dad (a sign painter and designer in southern Los Angeles) to pinstripe a motorcycle from the shop. Once the shop owner saw Von Dutch’s work, he moved him from mechanical work to painting and striping.

Although Von Dutch started the pinstriping craze, he actually preferred to be considered a mechanic. He would remind fans that paint only lasts a few years, while metalwork could last forever.

Von Dutch’s best-known designs were painted flames and freestyle pinstriping that focused attention on a machine’s curves and lines. He also created the famous flying eyeball logo that the Von Dutch Kustom Cycles uses today.

Von Dutch told people that the flying eyeball first appeared in Macedonian and Egyptian cultures thousands of years ago. The symbol signified an omniscient presence in the sky. As a believer in reincarnation, Von Dutch discovered the flying eyeball and modified it to become a symbol of the Von Dutch style and custom culture.

Although Von Dutch considered himself a mechanic, he spent years pinstriping motorcycles and cars, moving from one shop to the next in southern California. Potential customers traveled across the country to have Von Dutch detail his machine. Customers did not dictate design—they merely indicated how much time they would purchase and Von Dutch would create the unique design.

Von Dutch quit pinstriping in 1958. By this time he had amassed many followers and imitators, who saw his designs as the visual element of a custom culture life philosophy. He scorned money, choosing instead to live on the edge of poverty to keep himself sharp and driven. In September 1992, he died of a stomach abscess. He was survived by two daughters, Lisa and Lorna, and an artwork legacy that flourishes to this day.

In the twenty-first century, the Von Dutch lifestyle is considered to be about freedom, style, sex, power, and motion. Vintage machines and apparel are appreciated for their authenticity. “Kustom kulture” dictates an appreciation for the open road, creativity, and artistic celebration of America’s rebel motorcycle past. Von Dutch-influenced designs can be seen on apparel, motorcycles, cars, signs, and more.
