An Official Notice Be Careful What You Say On Here

What are the real lyrics to when i grow up by the pussycat dolls?

[Intro x2]
Boys call you sexy (What's up, sexy)
And you don't care what they say
See, everytime you turn around
They scream your name

[Verse 1]
Now I've got a confession
When I was young I wanted attention
And I promised myself that I’d do anything
Anything at all for them to notice me

[Bridge:]
But I ain't complaining
We all wanna be famous
So go ahead and say what you wanna say
You know what it's like to be nameless
Want them to know what your name is
'Cause see when I was younger I would say

[Chorus:]
When I grow up
I wanna be famous
I wanna be a star
I wanna be in movies
When I grow up
I wanna see the world
Drive nice cars
I wanna have groupies
When I grow up
Be on TV
People know me
Be on magazines
When I grow up
Fresh and clean
Number one chick when I step out on the scene

[Hook x2]
Be careful what you wish for 'cause you just might get it
You just might get it
You just might get it

[Verse 2]
They used to tell me I was silly
Until I popped up on the TV
I always wanted to be a superstar
And knew that singing songs would get me this far

[Bridge]
[Chorus]

[Hook x2]
Be careful what you wish for 'cause you just might get it
You just might get it
You just might get it

[Verse 3]
I see them staring at me
Oh I'm a trendsetter
Yes this is true 'cause what I do, no one can do it better
You can talk about me
'Cause I'm a hot topic
I see you watching me, watching me, and I know you want it

[Chorus]

[Hook x2]

[Chorus]

[Hook x2]

What are some stories which justify the saying, "Be careful what you wish for"?

Well, this is a short story known as the The Monkey's Paw. Many may have heard of this story but this is a bit of my kind of version as I have heard this story from my father. It goes like this:Once there was a fairly doing family in the old India which earned enough so that they would not be hungry and had their pride intact. The head of the family, once while returning from work discovered a rather strange object resembling a monkey's paw in the hands of a fakir(kind of wizard). He asked about it and came to know that it could be used to grant any three wishes of anyone. He had a good laugh about it, but took it home with him as the fakir gave it to him for free. Next day, while his young son was getting ready for his daily job at the mill, he observed the paw and inquired his father about it. Upon knowing about it's powers, he urged his father to try it once. Obliged, the father asked the paw for 500 rupees in order to buy a new bicycle. Nothing happened, and the son left for work thinking it was all a sham. But that evening, instead of the son, his boss had come to the house with an envelope in his hands and a look of grief on his face. He informed the boy's mother that the boy had met with an accident and died on the spot. The mother, instantly went into shock and the boy's father in one hand held his mother and from the other took a cheque of compensation provided by the company. The amount on the cheque:500 rupees.                 After the boy's cremation, when the couple were in utter sorrow, the father told his wife all about the paw as he could not hold it in any longer. His wife, full of rage grabbed the paw and instantly asked for her son's life. As soon as she wished, there was a knock on the door and mother went happily to open the door. In those 30 seconds, the father understood all the game that destiny had been playing and knew that his son would return just the way he was gone. As he had seen his dead body for the identification process, he could not bear the thought of his wife seeing her son half burnt and covered in blood. She would break to the core and the damages would be irreparable. So he made his last and final wish. The sound of the door knocking stopped. When the door was opened, nothing but the sound of wind and the touch of rain could be witnessed.

What's the difference between "inform " and "notify"?

'What's the difference between "inform " and "notify"?'Good question! I have run through a few examples in my head and I don't think that there is sufficient difference to worry about. Treat them as synonymous if you like.Having said that, I agree with Robert Charles Lee and can only add, for further clarification (if needed):A careful writer might choose 'inform' if writing from a position of authority and citing a known fact, as in: I am pleased to inform you that your application to enrol at this college has been successful.'And (from a position of no authority to a higher authority): All farmers are required to notify the ministry if they suspect the outbreak of a contagious disease in their herds.'Note that the second example carries a certain formality, perhaps with legal consequences. If in doubt, use 'inform'.

Why do we have to be careful about what we post on our Facebook page?

The big issue is that facebook 'owns' everything you say and do on facebook....so they can profile when you are online, how often, roughly where in the world you are, plus all the other connection based info.At the moment they sell this data 'anonymised' to marketing companies, mostly indirectly as a means to target you.Question is - at what point does the set of data about you uniquely define who you are...just without a real name attached to it?However here's the issue - Zuckerberg has always made clear he wants to evolve online culture to the point where everything we say and do is visible and public.  Every new feature on FB pushes those boundaries, fully expecting an outcry, which comes (like the image recognition default on issue), then they back off...but they don't care because they have ooched (its a sailing term - look it up) online culture in the direction they want.So....what's protected and non-visible today...may become unprotected and visible tomorrow.I am developing a social network for release later this year that directly counters Zuckerbergs approach - your data is your data.  take a look at Krowdthink and our blog Thinking about Images in Social Networkswe are looking for 1st testers right now

Are torrents haram in islam?

omg it seems like everybody is saying everything is HARAM these days!!!!

People, please don't jump to conclusions and say that things are haram unless you have EVIDENCE! and don't assume everything is HARAM!!! i'm tired of people asking retarded things sorry for venting on ur question but i've been seeing this alot lately....

the concept of Halal and Haram in Islam is very simple and clear: Everything is HALAL except that which Allah Almighty Has declared to be Haram... So, notice here that Haram is the exception not the rule..
Allah has prohibited a few things for specific reasons. The range of Halal is very wide compared to the range of Haram. So, everything is HALAL, unless it is clearly mentioned in the Quran/Sunna that it is Haram..
plus it is not good to say something is haram without clear proof...Only Allah has the right to declare something haram and if you do that then clearly YOU and in the Wrong so please be careful in what you say is haram and what is not!!!!

BE EXTRA CAREFUL IS WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY

Do I have to tell my employer that I was arrested over the Christmas break?

My employer requires its employees to report any arrests, other than minor traffic violations, to their manager. They say that while employees' personal lives are their own, off-duty misconduct can affect a person's work. (Which it certainly did, in your case.) And, if an employee is arrested or charged with a criminal offense, the company will investigate it and impose their own additional sanctions.

Should have thought about that before you assaulted someone over the Christmas break, shouldn't you?

What's the difference between these two sentences: is 5 years since I have lived here and is 5 years since I lived here?

Be very careful here. What are you trying to say?1) Have you been living here, without leaving, for five years? If so, use "I have lived here for five years." (Notice the change from since to for.) The word since is not the correct preposition in your case as we don't use since for lengths of time, but rather for time periods.Notice:"I have been waiting here since ten o'clock." (Ten o'clock is the time period.),versus"I have been waiting here for three hours." (Three hours is the length of time.)Also:"My father has worked at this company since 1980," (time period)versus"My father has worked at this company for 35 years." (length of time)1b) You can also use the present perfect continuous, have been living, but you still need the correct preposition: for."I have been living here for five years."This tells us that your living here has not been interrupted; its duration is continuous. 2) Did you live here, leave for five years, then return? If so, I don't like the missing parallelism in your first sentence."It is five years since I have lived here," could be better expressed using parallel verb tenses: "It has been five years since I have lived here."This sentence tells us that you lived here, then left for five years, then returned. In this case, the living and the leaving both happened in the past. The living preceded the leaving, so we use present perfect.Don't let the name fool you, the present perfect is a past tense.
