An Older Female Friend Invites People To Her Get Togethers But Never Invite Me I

How do I politely dis-invite a "friend" who invites herself everywhere?

I come from a large family of girls and we have a family friend who we grew up with who is a couple years older. We used to love hanging out with her when we were kids (I'm 25 now) but have outgrown the friendship. Problem is she still considers herself as "one of the family" and constantly invites herself along to any function we have as a family (dinners, birthday parties), or any activities we do (movies, shopping trips etc). She can be a nice girl but can be hyper and opinionated and we just don't always want her around. She invited herself on a vacation I planned with my sister and it really made me angry. How can I nicely tell her to back off and stop inviting herself to everything??

My friends don't invite me when they hang out. I feel lonely. How can I overcome this?

Hah. Seeing this question today is an amazing coincidence. Some points that I would like to conclude :First thing first, they're not your friends. It takes no time to invite anyone to anything, they're not your friends. Move the fuck on.It feels bad to be lonely even when you're surrounded by plenty of people, don't sit down and worry, just relax. Be cool, try to find your people.See, they can make plenty of excuses why they weren't able to invite you, think again. If they weren't able to invite you, how the fuck other people got there, so it's simple that they don't want you to be there. So, make sure you won't think about it again. Simple, move on and don't contact them again. Don't over-stress, friendships and connections are overrated, there are eight billion people in this world, keep looking around, you might find your people soon. The world is full of such people who'd ignore you no matter what, make sure that the first party you'll ever get together in, would be thrown by you(you know what I mean) and not by them.Never treat those as a priority who treat you as an option. Try to make friends who won't let you down any day of your life.Good luck :) .

Uh oh! I like my best friend's brother!! HELP!?

My best friend, Allison, has a brother, Kevin, and yesterday i was talking to her and she invited me to a chatroom (with her bro and a couple of other people) i've always thought he was cute, but never really talked to him. I mean, i saw him at her house sometimes, but i'm really shy with guys so i just pretended like he wasn't there (yea, yea i know :[ )

so anyways, during the chatroom it seemed like whenever i asked a question he would respond to me!! and we'd have these little mini convos together.

and so after a little while he IMed me separately (hehehehe) and we started talking and Allison didn't really like it so she started telling me to stop talking to him hahahah and i didn't cause he was fun to talk to! afterwards Allison was like do you have a thing for my bro? cause i think he has one for you. and i was denying it but she kept telling me we should go out..and idk what to do! does he like me?! HELLPP!! :[

btw he's a year older than me and really shy w/ girls. thanks!
