How did parents have intercourse in the 1800s when houses were so small and non-soundproof?
Keep in mind that in many cultures, parents continue reproducing while sharing a small home with children. The idea that everyone gets their own soundproof room is very western (and as far as I know, very American). My husband and I share a room with our toddler son. When we want to have sex, we wait until he is being watched by his grandmother or is at daycare and then we make a point of finding a place and engaging in sex. Sometimes it takes more planning and waiting. Sometimes it can be just as spontaneous. Sex is not regulated to a night time, bed time activity. Also, keep in mind that people back then did not have the technology that makes it more likely that someone will be up all of the time... sleeping is easier to regulate without the screen light that we all see, so I am guessing that there were a nice few hours after putting the kids to bed when they could freely engage in sex without thinking about waking others. Also, there used to be the habit of waking in the middle of the night and doing quiet activities... I assume one of those quiet activities was probably finding a place to have sex.

What are some tips for a low MMR player using Doom (DOTA 2)?
1. Keep using Devour as soon as it is off cooldown. It is like a built in Midas. Devour creeps with low hp for fast bonus gold.2. Use Devour preferably on neutral creeps with active skills during early to mid game On satyr,centaur,Troll camps for Purge,Stomp,Net respectively. And Wildwing’s torando for farming stacked camps. Eat carty creep to prevent cheap shots on tower.3. Don't Roam to make plays. Stay in lane or in jungle to farm continuously with an early Vlads or Tranquils. Spend little time on roaming and ganks as Doom progresses well with items.4. Donot forget to use scorched earth during team fights most of the players focus on ult rather than other skills & also keep infernal blade on Autocast.5. Get Initaiting item like Blink / shadow blade as doom’s movement speed is low and his cast animation is a bit long.6. Save Ultimate for that hero who is the reason you have picked doom a.k.a the escape or caster hero. Like Invoker, Storm spirit, Dazzle, Puck, Necrophos, Antimage, void etc.7. Use doom and try to tank the enemy damage with scorched earth as there is not much you can do after spending doom, mekansm, shivas.8. If you are playing carry or enemy has enough diables to stop you from casting doom go for Bkb.9. Watchout for the Linkens on enemy in late game which can be game breaking. Break linkens with Infernal blade.Item choices :Doom is very flexible and has lot of core items1. Go tranquils and Iron talon for farming.2. Get phase and vladimirs for semi carry or carry build. Devour Wolf for critical strike.No need to get damage items as doom’s base damage and strength gain is quite high.Kobold for movement speed. Devour wildwing for armor to negate harass during laning.3. Get Arcane + mek for utility and ganking doom.Midas is also a good choice and it wont hinder your item progression much.4. Shivas is a very good item on doom if he has Phase / blink / drums6. Refresher is very good item. Because humans are a scarier version of this:That’s right, a zombie.Compared to other animals, humans are incredibly resilient. When a horse breaks its leg, what happens? Half the time it goes into shock right away and simply dies. Other times, it lies in place until it dehydrates. It’s the same with most other animals. Major injuries lead to shock or a loss of will to live.What happens when a human breaks his leg? He limps. He keeps coming. He gets angry. Or even scarier, he takes literal garbage from the ground - sticks, vines, whatever - and makes a splint. Heck, even if you manage to bite off his leg he’ll just make a new one.So not only are we like Zombies in our resilience, we are able replace parts and upgrade ourselves. We’re zombie cyborgs!But wait, it gets worse.A human is not only far more difficult to kill than it at first appears, it’s also impossible to escape from. Sure, we’re not the fastest animal around, but something like a lion is only going to be able to run for a few minutes at a time and we can track it. It will sprint for a bit, get hot and tired, then stop to rest. The human will jog until he catches up and scares the bejeezus out of the poor animal. The lion then sprints away, getting hotter and more tired. Maybe it trips, breaks a leg and goes into shock. No? Well, after a few more times that lion is going to overheat and pass out anyway - or perhaps it will just go into shock from pure fear of the human which constantly appears behind it. This is called persistence hunting and it���s exactly what zombies do.Wait, did I say human? As in one human? How silly. Humans hunt in packs.Imagine seeing this everywhere you run.Other thoughts:Most animals are scared of humans and our scent. Is it learned fear or do we just smell bad?The only animals crazy enough to prey on us regularly are those unable to catch their regular prey and now starving (tigers) or those unable to consider how dangerous we are (mosquitoes)Human tool-making abilities are certainly key, but even before we were able to build anything complicated we were an apex hunter-gatherer. Group mentality and persistence hunting beats out nearly every other strategy in the animal kingdom.What other animal hunts in packs and exhausts their prey? Wolves. What happened to wolves, the only animal that might beat us at our own game? Who discovered/invented Agriculture and the Domestication of some animals. Ancient Men or Women?
At a recent discussion with a group of friends, I sustained that it was ancient women who had developed agriculture and achieved the domestication of some animals, based on: a) Women have a superior ability and a greater amount of patience, to observe tiny details or events that pass unnoticed to men. b) After men had killed an animal to eat, her cubs or puppies were abandoned. I am sure that women picked them up, took care of them and fed them. How? By breastfeeding them, in some cases. I saw on TV, some time ago, a program that showed photos of women breastfeeding animals. Unfortunately, I did not tape it. Right now I was able to obtain two pictures (only) in the web on the subject. My contention does not refer to who is superior to whom, but to investigate the possibility of my being right or wrong.
