How do you make AMVs (anime music videos)?
I have great ideas for some AMVs that I wanna make, problem is that my computer (a Windows 2000) doesn't have anything on it that can help me. I cannot get Windows Movie Maker. and I need somthing free that can make them. Also, whats the merits of using DVD footige over downloaded, because I have no money to buy DVDs, but all the sites say to buy them and not download the episodes. Any help?

Yes, I love it! Although I only now watch and download them to get new music and find bands, I still find them entertaining. Usually at gatherings and parties with my friends, I leave the TV on AMV shuffle. If by anime mysic video, yo mean a music video about an anime, then here's some tips: Decide the subject, if you haven't already- and a song Get Hypercam. It's a great free program that I use to make music videos. Find episodes of the anime you are using. try to pick episodes and clips that fit the song. Use hypercam to record your selected clips. Put you song on windows movie maker cut the clips to go with your song and then post it to youtube. have fun

Nothing goes wrong with Gundam. The recent one, Iron Blooded Orphans, is amazing and chock full of space battle action and strategy. If you want a full experience, Legend of the Galatic Heroes have them too. Its remake is amazing.Let’s also not forget Space Battleship Yamato. It’s pretty good, and legendary, so to say.For western cult fiction, asides from the Star Wars series, there is the Battlestar Galactica series which is almost similar to the Star Wars franchise. And Starship Troopers. Classic space battle action series.
