One piece is the last of the Big three, the most beloved trinity of Contemporary Shonen manga. Naruto ended in 2014, and bleach on 2016. I am personally a diehard fan of Naruto. But even I have to agree that both Naruto and bleach stumbled in the later arcs. But one piece is to manga, what the dark knight is to superhero films. The Sacrosanct.It’s not a stretch when I gush on the story telling mastery of oda sensei. The manga is currently in its 800+ runs, and none of the stories, arcs or chapters felt wasted. Oda sensei has crafted a story in which we care for the characters even the most minor ones. There are a plethora of characters that appear only in one arc, but whose influence and legacy is felt throughout the run. And the main characters, mostly the crew of the straw hat pirates, each have been given a details arc, backstories and motivations.One piece till far has been their journey from a group of strangers to something that transcends blood family.
