Any good ideas for an anime series? (10 points for best answer!)?
well, I came up with a plot for a manga a while back. i'm not really going to use it or anything, so I'll tell you.^^ It's kinda magical, in a sense. -story- Mei Kima (or use your own name) is just an ordinary schoolgirl going to a regular high school. one morning, before school, she goes into her parents' room and finds that a weird man in strange, old fashioned clothes (typical men kimono) has taken her parents. He forces them to step on a magic circle in the ground, and then they vanish. (this is the magic part :P) Mei takes her katana (a sword she's really skilled with) and follows them into the circle. She finds herself in a strange place, realizing it's the feudal era of Japan (this is a nod to Inuyasha ^_^). her parents and the strange man are nowhere to be seen, so she starts walking around, hoping to get some help. then, she is attacked by a demon and she uses her sword to kill it, saving a talking white cat named Yuki in the process. Yuki tells her that her sword is called the Akuma no Youna Satsugai no Ken, or dubbed the "Demon Slaying Sword", and that she is a Akuma no youna tokkou, or Demon Slayer, destined to slay demons. Yuki then tells her that her the man who took her parents is the most powerful demon, and it is Mei's duty to slay him. So, that is where her journey starts.
Protagonist of antagonist? 1984 by george orwell(details inside if you haven't read it)?
I have a book report on this, and I'm sort of confused on this question. The characters could go either way. WInston could be the good guy fighting against The PArty and Big BRother, or he could be the bad guy and they are helping him. In the beginning he is the good but in the end they "reform" him through torture and he finally believes that they were actually trying to help him. I believe that The Party and BIg Brother are the bad since they tortured him until he truly believed, but am I supposed to answer in sense of the character's belief, which goes two ways depending on what part of the book you are reading, or my own?

Don't worry there are no spoilers below Oreki Houtarou from Hyouka Motto: "If I don't have to do it, I won't. If I have to do it, I'll make it quick" He is shown to be a quiet student, and never concerned about things that happens around him. Despite being shown as an average high school student, he is quite intelligent and perceptive. He's considered lazy and apathetic, always living on the "gray" side, and is not interested in any activities that might waste his time and energy. He actually never intended to join any club, but his sister ordered him to join the Classics Club to save it from being disbanded. Even though he might looked not interested, he's unbelievably good at solving mysteries and will always find a solution if he gives it a thought. He has a habit of holding his bangs whenever he has solved the mystery.

I'm looking for an Anime like 07 GHOST, and Naruto. I would like it to include... *The main character is protected by others. Whether the character knows this or not is optional. Though I'd prefer him to eventually find out. *There should be a very close relationship between the Main Character and one of his/her protectors. Like Teito-Frau or Naruto-Kakashi/Iruka. *The Main Character must have some special power/ability. A power that heavily affects the plot, like an organization coming after them for it. (Teito-The Eye of Mikhail and Verloren-The Military, Naruto-Kurama-The Akatsuki) *The protectors must have some special ability or power! (Frau/Castor/Labrador/Lance- 7 Ghosts, Kakashi/Yamato/etc.-Chakra and Bloodlines) *The Main Character's power could either be good or evil! (Kyuubi and Mikhail) *The Main Character could lose control of his power or become possessed by it! One of the protectors could also find it hard to control their power around the Protagonist as well! (Eyes of Mikhail/Raphael, Frau and Verloren's Scythe, Tailed Beasts) *The Main Character can be called the Chosen One by others! (Naruto) *There can be romance and I would like there to be at least a little action. I AM fine with Yuri and Yaoi! What is the anime show "Bleach" about?
Basic Summary: Bleach follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager with the ability to see spirits,who accidentally steals the powers of the Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki while saving his family and subsequently assumes her duties while she convalesces. Since that event, Ichigo has to fight hollows, evil spirits that attack people.In the process he makes new Friends with special abilities. Questions: 1)Is the show good in general -Yes, it is good (though there are a lot of needless fillers - which is why mangas are better - though the Bounty filler was pretty good). It's one of those big animes like Naruto and One Piece. 2) What genre is it? -Shounen, Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Supernatural/Superpower, romance (little) Again, very similar in genre to Naruto or One Piece. 3) Is it like any other specific anime? -All animes are different one way or another, but if I have to say, and have been mentioning, it's like Naruto and One Piece. Not in terms of story, but in terms of genre. 4) Does it have unique characters? -Yes; for a long series like this one, the characters are indeed all very unique and original. 5)Is there anything in particular about the protagonist (good guy) /antagonist (bad guy)? -I wouldn't really go into this as it could be a spoiler. But the protagonist basically gets stronger each arc/battle (like a typical shounen genre) and the antagonist changes a lot (like typical shounen genre where the protagonist defeats the bad guy - and another stronger one pops out) 6)If there's a manga, is it better than the show itself? -I personally read the manga, and like it better. Just like One Piece and Naruto, the anime is an adaptation of the manga, following its storyline. If you want to see things in animation then go for the anime; but if you don't mind, just read it.
Are there any Manga's/anime's where the main character is a pothead?
That is HIGHLY unlikely (pun intended). Japan is extremely against drug use and there may even be laws about how it is displayed on media. Now why would a country that is homophobic be cool with gay characters in anime but not cool with drug use? I have no clue. The closest you can get to any drug references is Samurai Champloo which has an episode where a crop of weed is visible and if i remember right everyone got high and in Afro Samurai you have Afro clearly smoking a blunt but he doesnt even act high from what little of that i saw so whatever. Welcome to the NHK (not in the anime you only see it in the novel and manga) has drug use by the main character but its not weed but i heard one person say he also had weed but that must have been in the novel since i didnt see it in the manga or anime or that person was jsut wrong. I saw one forum online that someone said Kanamemo there is a character that smokes weed.
Does he become a monster in the anime?
So in Rosario + Vampire does Tsukune become a monster? I'm talking about the anime not the manga. So in season 1 Moka gives her blood to him and he saves her from a blast but it doesn't show any signs of him turning into a ghoul or vampire. So what does actually happen and do you think I should read the manga?
