Another Person Driving A Car

A person who is deaf and mute are they allowed to drive a car?

Of course deaf people can drive. Every deaf person I know drives.

And they are better drivers than most hearing because they are more aware of their surroundings and more observant.

How many hearing people with their ipods, cell phones, and blasting stereos even hear sirens anyway? That's why you have rear view mirrors.

Deaf people can also get pilots licenses, there is an entire section of FAA rules for deaf pilots; but that's a different question.

Can another person ride with you when driving for Uber eats?

With UberX, XL, and the other passenger services you contractually need to have a certain number of seatbelts available so you would not be able to have a non-paying passenger ride with you.I’m not sure if contractually someone can ride with you while delivering for UberEats, but I’m pretty confident that you could have a non-paying rider (friend, family, etc.) in your car with you (even if it’s not allowed) and get away with it if you ONLY do UberEats, and as long as you or your rider don’t do anything to upset a restaurant or customer.It may be different in different markets but where I am the restaurants are rarely if ever even going to see my vehicle. My guess is, if they saw a passenger in the car, as long as they didn’t look like they would in any way lessen the experience of getting their order delivered on time and in the proper condition, they wouldn’t care or rate you any differently. The customers would have a bigger likelihood of seeing your passenger but again if they get their order on time and in proper condition, I think in general, they won’t give it a second thought.

If I received a traffic ticket but another person was driving the car, can that person go to court to fight it instead of me?

If the citation is in your name, you are required to appear in court. Failure to do so may result in the possibility of your drivers license being suspended or revoked, being found guilty in absentia or by default, or even an arrest warrant being sworn out against you (all depending on local laws and general court procedures).There are a couple options available which would be much better than just not appearing in court:Call the prosecutor’s office well ahead of time and explain that your friend is willing to admit driving the car, but wants to plead not guilty to the citation. It’s possible that the prosecutor will file an amended citation listing your friend as the driver. You’ll probably need to go into the prosecutor’s office with the friend in order to do something like this.Go to court and plead not guilty, then explain to the judge that your friend was driving and wishes to plead not guilty. You’ll have to name your friend, and it would be even better if your friend appears as a witness in your case. Again, you’ll probably end up with an amended citation with your friend’s information on it.Hire an experienced traffic attorney to represent you. It will mean more money on your part, but it might mean you don’t have to appear in court in person (again, depending on local laws and procedures).If you choose to simply ignore the citation, you’ll be on the hook for it. Your state’s law probably says something about the registered owner of a vehicle being responsible for the fines associated with traffic camera citations, so you and your friend will have to take some affirmative steps to clear you from the citation.

A person driving her car at 47 km/h ?

First you need to do some conversion:
since 1 m/s = 3.6 km/h
then 47 km/h = 13.06 m/s
and 70 km/h = 19.44 m/s

(a) If she decelerates at maxiumum,
Initial velocity, u =13.06 m/s
final velocity, v = 0 m/s
acceleration, a = -6.2 ms^-2
Using v^2 = u^2 + 2as,
0^2 = 13.06^2 + 2 (-6.2) s
s = 13.7 m
Displacement s= 13.7 m (ans)
She will stop in time, since the near side is 30m away.

(b) If she goes at full acceleration,
acceleration, a = (19.44 - 13.06) / 6.9 = 0.926 m/s^2
time, t = 2.0s
Initial velocity, u =13.06 m/s
Using s = ut + 1/2 a t^2
s = 13.06 X 2.0 + 1/2 X 0.926 X 2.0^2
s = 27.96 m
She will travel 27.96 m before the light turns red.(and she is still now at the near side of the intersection).

(c) The traffic light will turn red even before she is at the near side of the intersection. Since she is 30m away from the near side of the intersection, she should decelerate and try to stop.

A person driving her car at 48 km/h approaches an intersection just as the traffic light?

There are two equations you are going to need to use here:

x = x0 + v0 + 1/2a(t)^2 (which relates distance to velocity, acceleration and time)
and
v = v0 +at (which relates velocity to acceleration and time)

First let's look at the brakes:
x = x0 + v0 + 1/2a(t)^2
x0= 0 since we want to see how far she'll go
v0 = 48 km/h = 13.34 m/s
a = -5.6 m/s2
t = 2
when we do the math, we get 15.48m. She stops well before the intersection.

Now let's look at the accleration:
First we need to figure out how fast she can accelerate:
v = v0 +at
v = 70 km/h
v0 = 48 km/h
t = 6.6
a = 22 km/h /6.6s = .061 m/s / 6.6 s = .0093m/s2

now, we use the same equation from before to figure out how far she would travel in 2s:
x = x0 + v0 + 1/2a(t)^2
x0 = 0
v0 = 48 km/h = 13.34 m/s
t =2
a = .0093 m/s2
and we get:
x = 26.70 m
clearly she doesn't make the light.

In reality, she needs a car with a real engine =).

A person driving her car at 43 km/h approaches an intersection just as the traffic light turns yellow. She kno?

A person driving her car at 43 km/h approaches an intersection just as the traffic light turns yellow. She knows that the yellow light lasts only 2.0 s before turning to red, and she is 30 m away from the near side of the intersection (Fig. 2-29). The intersection is 15 m wide. Her car's maximum deceleration is -5.4 m/s2, whereas it can accelerate from 43 km/h to 70 km/h in 8.1 s. Ignore the length of her car and her reaction time.

Figure 2-29
If she hits the brakes, how far will she travel before stopping?
m
If she hits the gas instead, how far will she travel before the light turns red?
m Should she try to stop, or should she speed up to cross the intersection before the light turns red?

Can a person with a tracheostomy safly drive a car>?

If the trach is the only issue, then yes, it is fine to operate a moving vehicle and/or heavy machinery.

However, since she is a cancer patient, then she's probably on a lot of medications (such as potent analgesics), some of which may impair her ability to drive. If this is the case, then no, she should not drive.

And I hope your relative makes a speedy and thorough recovery. Bless you!

Can another person use my Uber account to drive?

No. That is not allowed by Uber. Each person needs to download the app, open an account and go through the background check.However, you and another person can share the same vehicle: Can I drive someone else's car for Uber? (or Can my friend drive my car for ...

Did you let another person drive your own vehicle. How did it feel?

I have always been extremely stingy with my cars. When I was dating in college I absolutely did not allow guys I was dating to ever drive my cars. And I didn’t want to drive theirs either.Except one guy who I was madly in love with, that was a relationship, not a date. He was a car guy too and I knew he would take care of my car better than he’d take care of his. If anything happened it I knew it would have been unavoidable.When I was dating my husband I wouldn’t let him drive my cars— I had two. He wasn’t a car guy at that point. He had his own car, so we were cool. After we got married stuff used to happen to my car on the rare occasion that he drove it. A grocery basket rolled and knocked out my headlight while he was parked but in the drivers seat. He would get pulled over for an indicator light that mysteriously blew out. My cars were like Herbie— full of mischief if he was driving. I used to tell my husband my cars are one driver cars— like some dogs only like one person.I’m not like this about anything else, I’ll share almost anything. Now days my husband is much more of a car guy and my car doesn’t reject him anymore. However, I still would rather not drive his.Bottom line: If you’re driving my car I love you.
