Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card (best sci -fi) Aliens have attacked Earth twice and almost destroyed the human species. To make sure humans win the next encounter, the world government has taken to breeding military geniuses -- and then training them in the arts of war... The early training, not surprisingly, takes the form of 'games'... Ender Wiggin is a genius among geniuses; he wins all the games... He is smart enough to know that time is running out. But is he smart enough to save the planet? Her Majesty's Wizard by Christopher Stasheff (fantasy, romance) Matt read the forbidden runes and found himself in a world where reciting verses worked magic. He got himself locked in a dungeon, created a fire-breathing dragon, and eventually discovered a beautiful princess he swore to save. Little did he guess how hard that would be.... Old Magic by by Marianne Curley When Jarrod Thornton walks into the classroom, Kate Warren instantly senses that he is as different as she is. In anger, he unknowingly unleashes a storm in the science lab and Kate realizes that he has exceptional paranormal abilities that exceed her own. As an uneasy friendship forms, she helps Jarrod confront and internalize his talents. With her grandmother's help, the teens journey back to the Middle Ages and break the curse that has controlled the Thornton family for generations. On one level, this is a story about paranormal abilities, curses, and time travel. Deeper, it's an account of feeling different, friendship, and acceptance. The story is much like a train ride. The plot is fast and smooth and the characters' developing friendship is akin to the train's slowing and coming to a station stop.

Do you have any book recommendations about social media?
#SocialPatoisSays #SocialPatois www.SocialPatois.comAs others have said, the market is ever changing, however many principles remain the same. There are also books that are released every month on the topic, if you want something current, and there are also e-books in abundance. They say if you want to hide something, put it in a book. Books still have a lot to offer! They provide a "deep-study" into a topic that you may not get from a blog article. Visit your local library and check-out a couple. You may not read the book from cover to cover...these books also tend to have great charts, diagrams, and such that you won't necessarily find on the web.

Any book recommendations? Spring break is coming up..
I really enjoyed the Ranger’s Apprentice Series by John Flanagan.Start with Book One: The Ruins of Gorlan(There are two prequels, but they are best read after reading the other books in the series to get the most of them; they were also written after the first 12 books in the series.)If you like the first book, when picking out the second, make sure you stay within the Ranger’s Apprentice series. (Book Two is the Burning Bridge.) The author also wrote another series (The Brotherband Series) which is in the same fictional kingdom and also a good read, but a different story line. The Royal Ranger SeriesAnother great book/author is The Five People by Meet in Heaven, by Mitch Albom. He has some other great books, and just came out with a sequel I believe is called The Next Person You Meet in Heaven.
I have to choose books off a booklist.. any recommendations??
List 1: Uncle Tom's Cabin would be my first choice. It is gripping and sickening at the same time -- knowing that people treated others this way. Unabridged version would be the best, as someone else said. List 2: I would go with Their eyes were watching God or Band of Brothers. Both of these are really good, and they kept my attention -- and I am easily distracted. :)
