Hi. Im a 13 year old girl and i love playing call of duty. The main reason im asking this is because i was playing cod black ops and this guy said that " girls should be playing in the ps3. They should be out sucking d**k. All thos girls that play xall pf duty are lesbians" No.1 im. Not lesbian No.2 i dont go out "sucking d**k" and never plan to in my future life No.3 playing call of duty is better that going out and banging a bunch of guys But then i thought... I can’t speak for all guys but, as someone for whom playing video games is a main hobby, I have to say that I think any girl who plays video games (I’m thinking either on the PC or on a console) is just awesome.For me, it’s because I grew up in a country where video games were made out to be a guy thing, so no girl I ever met bothered to play. I also happen to now live in a country in which the culture seems to look down on stay-at-home activities like video games. Apart from online, I’ve never met a girl/woman who plays video games as a hobby.I personally would like to know more female gamers (really more gamers in general) because:It provides a great conversation topic. I met all my oldest and best friends by playing video games together. I can talk games with my brother for hours. It would be refreshing to have such conversation with a girl.After reading the above, it occurs to me that seeing/meeting more female gamers would break this childhood stereotype I have that most girls /women hate video games.Personally, I think video games are very beneficial; they inspire the imagination, as well as curiosity. They can serve as a confidence boost, and they engage the mind to think strategically, as well as build innovation. Anyone who feels the same way about video games is a quality person in my book.In the end though, video games are just another hobby, like reading, watching TV, gardening and so on. Just replace “video games” in your question with any other hobby you can think of and you’ll understand how a gamer feels to meet someone who likes the same things they do. They Do!The first time i went to a inter - collage gaming conclave at IIT Guwahati in 2013, I didn't expect any girls in any team. The games being played were FIFA, CS, AoE, DoTA and NFS. Mind you this was a very advanced level competition and they were a also few pros whom people recognized.I was following a CS game my friend was playing, as my AoE match was scheduled for much later. In came a few girls, whom everyone thought to be spectators, until they pulled out their gear.Everybody was dumbstruck seeing not one but an all-girl team playing CS, someone mentioned they gave hell in the qualifiers and such random roomers started flooding the arena. I couldn't follow their entire match but let me tell you, they were seriously Bad-ass!Their opponents didn't stand a chance! Don't remember the final score but they won a map clean (nuke, probably) 21-0.That was some shooting!P.S : My friend prayed to all gods not to face them in the tournament, thankfully he didn't - He was knocked out well before!
