Any Good Movies Filmed In Hungary

What movies were filmed in Tenerife, Spain?

I don't know if I would trust what Zafir says on this one.

Not one of the six Star Wars movies lists Tenerife as any of their locations shoots....LOTS of locations in Tunisia, and a quick moment in Sevilla (but long enough to recognize it and nearly jump out of my seat screaming "I used to live THERE!)

NEITHER of the Ten Commandments movies (1956, 2006) mention Tenerife (mostly Egypt and Hungary, there)

Walking with Dinosaurs doesn't list any locations in Spain, either.

Seriously flawed answer!

Barbarella lists that the full movie was done in Italy.

Planet of the Apes (1968) was completely shot in the USA, and (2001) almost entirely USA locations, with one in Australia.

In fact, the entire series which was released from 1968 - 1975 was shot entirely in the USA/California.

Walking with Dinosaurs doesn't list any locations in Spain, either.

Seriously flawed answer!

*edit* I DID find info saying that Clash of the Titans was filmed there. (2010)

Here is a list of ALL the movies that imdb lists as having been filmed in Tenerife:

Clash of the Titans (2010)
El barón contra los Demonios (2006)
...aka The Baron Against the Demons (2006) (International: English title)
One Million Years B.C. (1966)

Are there any good movies about the immediate aftermath of WWII in Europe, once the fighting stopped?

Ashes and Diamonds is a 1958 Polish film directed by Andrzej Wajda, based on the 1948 novel. The story takes place in a small town in Poland in May 1945 in the immediate aftermath of WW2 in Europe. Nazi Germany has just surrendered. The war is over, but in Poland civil war is set to continue for 1-2 years. The story is not so much about the continued fighting, more about coping with the consequences of the war.As the German soldiers leave, the remaining Russian forces and Polish resistance fighters must work out the hierarchies of power in "liberated" Communist Poland. What makes it a good film is that Wajda manages to tackle all the precarious postwar issues while creating a piece of cinematography admired by people of all political persuasions. No didactics, no taking sides politically, just a thought provoking spectacle.Who else thinks that it’s a good movie?:Martin Scorsese and Francis Ford Coppola have cited the film as one of their favourites.Richard Peña in the book 1001 Movies you must see before you die considers the ending of the film to be one of the most powerful and often quoted endings in film history. The film was ranked #38 in Empire magazines "The 100 Best Films Of World Cinema" in 2010.It has been distributed in many countries around the world. It got a prize at Venice Film Festival:It was shown in exotic places such as Japan:This poster is probably from America:Some images which reflect the mood:There is a Blueray version with English subtitles.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashes_and_Diamonds_(film)

Was the new movie Chernobyl Diaries actually filmed in Chernobyl?

Nope. Serbia and Hungary are where they filmed.

Chernobyl is dangerous to be. Even years and years after what happened radiation is still a problem. They usually dont let anybody near it. And if they allow it you have an escort and they recommend that you dont leave your car. Some places have been marked where its supposedly safe and the radiation is eeak.

In what order are movies filmed (like what scenes do they film first?)?

In most cases, the order is determined by logistical considerations. For example, scenes set in a particular location will be filmed together regardless of where the individual scenes occur in the story, in order to minimize the amount of time that the location must be rented, travel times for cast for crew, and set-up/tear-down work, as well as to avoid continuity problems from filming over a longer period than what is portrayed in the story (change of seasons, etc.). The shooting location might also simply be unavailable at other times.Scenes that a specific group of actors is always in will also be shot together in order to avoid problems with getting everybody together multiple times.  If a an actor needs to undergo an extreme and hard-to-undo physical change during the filming, such as getting their head shaved, that scene would probably shot later so as to minimize the effect on remaining scenes (especially if something goes wrong).  If an actor's character loses a lot of weight in the course the plot (for example due an illness), they would probably have the actor lose weight beforehand and film the "thin" scenes first (even though they happen last), since trying to lose a lot of weight quickly (e.g. during filming) is medically dangerous and would leave the actor tired and cranky. It's much easier to put on weight quickly.  TL;DR: Logistics.

Why do the Black Widow and Hawkeye mention Budapest (capital of Hungary) in The Avengers?Any specific reason?

Since there haven't been any backstory movies made for either one of them, maybe they wanted people who don't know anything about the comics to know that these two have known each other for a long time. Hopefully they get the support behind them to give them a movie, either together to explain their backstory, or one of each :)
