Depending upon the class / standard you are studying, list down the topics you are really interested in science. Then start researching about the current developments, social problems in these areas. Look up sites of Google Science fair, ProjectsforSchool (Shop science projects for School kids | Projectsforschool.com) etc to get an idea about the kind of projects / models which can be made. And then try to make a model of this concept which can be used in your society / environment. The idea is that you are able to express your understanding, creativity, and innovative spirit with this model.Wish you good luck with your model!!

Any good 8th grade Science projects?

When I was in 8th grade we did a lab where we made ice cream in a ziploc bag.. I can't remember what it had to do with science.. something about absorbing energy.. and salt has something to do with it.. it's pretty cool, easy, and you get to eat ice cream after! Check this website to get more info

Any GOOD SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT IDEAS?!?!?!?!?!?

I know this type of question doesn't get many answers, but anyone who crosses this and reads this, PLEASE suggest something, and make sure it isn't a dumb one... it has to be one that almost 90% of people wouldn't know what would happen. In other words, no volcanoes and junk with baking soda... or in other words, just don't, and i repeat DON'T, put plain old classics...

Q:: “What are some good science project ideas for a 6th grader?”Some of the suggestions I gave on my answer to What are some epic science fair project ideas for a grade ten student? can easily be scaled down to a simpler version.I also think that selecting a very small bit of nature (say, one little inlet on a lake, or a vacant lot, or the corner of a park) and doing very careful observation, measurement (of temperature, humidity and measurements of things observed) and documentation (photographic, recording, drawing, observation notes), with research on the features observed, including, perhaps most importantly, listing questions that could be followed up on, is a worthwhile exercise.A more specialized version of this, on a slightly larger Picking an interesting section of geology (with plenty of bedrock exposed, and some variety) and documenting it, including finding relevant resources from USGS, (or similar organization) and creating your own geological maps making the layout and constructive parts of the area quite clear, would be instructive. A university geology department or local forest service office might be a resource you can call on for assistance with this one.
