Any Lana Parrilla Fans Out There

Will my child be bullied for this name?

I really love the name Lana. I think it's so classy and elegant. Someone pointed out to me that Lana backwards is Anal and now I'm afraid if I name my child that, she will be bullied and hate me. What do you think?

What is your opinion of Once Upon a Time (Season 7)?

We’re now 4 episodes in and I… am meh on it. Spoilers ahead!Let’s divide it up:Good:Using Wish!Hook as a way to keep Colin O’Donoghue and not break up Emma and Real!Hook. I’m not a Captain Swan fan, but it would have been a How I Met Your Mother level betrayal if the writers sank that ship.Andrew West, Gabrielle Anwar, Rose Reynolds and Mekia Cox are all really good actors who do well with the material they’re given.Lana Parrilla remains radiant in her portrayal of any version of Regina. There are some good nods to the first six seasons (it’s when the show tries to hit them over the head that things start getting clunky and ugly).Bad:Jacinda/Cinderella. I don’t know what it is, but the actress just isn’t working for me and the writers seem to be trying to make her seem like Snow, but they can’t sell it.The pacing is atrocious. One day after meeting her, Henry is allegedly in love with Cinderella. And yes, I get that they’re paralleling to Snow and Charming, but that relationship was more evenly paced out and Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin had much better chemistry than Dania Ramirez and Andrew WestLucy. I wanted to like her, but she’s just become a precocious little brat who is really insensitive. Fine, she knows about the curse, but that doesn’t change the fact that she keeps telling Henry “Hey, you know that traumatic event where you lost the two people you loved most and you’re probably still grieving? Totally not real?” God, have a heart, kid!Criminal under-use of Adelaide KaneRobert Carlyle really doesn’t have any reason to be involved, and it felt like he was phoning in his performance except for when he was playing opposite Emilie de Ravin.WHY:Rumbelle’s happy ending. I love the actors and their chemistry, but after the world of hurt and abuse that Rumple put Belle through from season 4 to season 6, he did not earn a happy life with her.The decision to completely wipe OUAT in Wonderland off the map irks me.The decision to Force Awakens season 1 with nigh-constant parallels and callbacks. WE GET IT. BUT THE NEW STUFF WORKS BETTER.Pending further review:The Resistance.Tiana as a character (I’m excited for her episode)More alumni characters and cast members’ returns

Why are there no Native American days designated as National Holidays?

Yes, the government acknowledges it. However, most school districts fail to follow suite.

"November is Native American Heritage Month -
The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in paying tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans."

Maybe you need to expand the websites you references. Anything that ends in .gov or .edu is a legit resource.

Or you could always do your research and submit your own info into wikepedia.

Edit: Just read the rest of your question. We DO have Native American Music Awards. Google NAMA or Nammy. Or check out this site: http://www.nativeamericanmusicawards.com...
They just aren't as publisicied as the other awards programs. A relative of mine was runner up in the hip-hop rap category.

Why? I don't know. I think probably it would hurt Hollywood if people realized we look nothing like what they tell the world we should look like. And, in all honesty, if all the non-Natives seen us as people- just like everyone else, they might expect the governent to treat us as such.
