Or then look for ground transportation options even though the local authorities had put emergency bans on driving. Even though the FAA and the local law enforcement have temporarily halted transportation, they might not think that it will apply to them.They might be more inclined to book flights and hotel rooms last minute--but not understand why you can't find them accommodation or tickets to, say, Las Vegas, when it's C.E.S. week (one of the world's biggest product conventions) or find them a limousine in 30 minutes on the night of the Academy Awards--when everyone and their mother has booked their limo weeks in advance.Personalized Attenion... and then some: Luxury clientele might also be more demanding of your time and also expect things like your personal cell phone number. Sure, you might have an after hours team which handles emergency calls when you are out of the office--but the clients might not want to hear what they have to say when they are being told that First Class is sold on on all of the Virgin non-stops to London for tomorrow night--so, expect to get a call... even though there's not much that you could do, obviously.I have had many high end clients whom I loved working with, but there were also some doozies, too.The commissions on air, hotels, car services, and tour packages can be better than with more budget-conscious travelers, but there are definitely trade offs.
