I'm looking for songs like Bang Bang by Will.i.am and A Little Party Never Killed Nobody by Fergie, Q-Tip, and Goonrock. I went through the Great Gatsby soundtrack (which is where I found these) and I couldn't find any others I liked. Does anyone know other artists/songs like these that sound like they're from the 20s-40s but have the modern bass and beats?

What do you think of the new song Bang Bang by Green Day? And what are your expectations from their future album Revolution Radio?
I had the album pre-ordered and waited each day for it’s release. There’s something incredibly unique about Revolution Radio. It’s not as overtly anthem-ic as 21st Century Breakdown or American Idiot, at the same time, it doesn’t bring a sense of loss as far as a direction to the album is concerned, unlike the trilogy. It’s in it’s own sweet middle ground. I may even go as far as to say that it’s wrong for us to compare Revolution Radio with American Idiot or 21st Century Breakdown. The albums all tend towards different directions. I do enjoy the concept of Revolution Radio. There are songs like Bang Bang and Revolution Radio that scream rebellion, to the exhilarating tunes of Bouncing off the walls to the crisp yet mellow chords of Ordinary World. There is, however, a sense of hysteria from the American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown era lingering on this album and in my opinion, Troubled Times wreaks of it. Overall it’s a well constructed album that gives you little to complain about. I do really miss the badass solo’s that I love Billie Joe and Jason White for, but we’ll let that pass.
