Anybody Have A 20 Lb. Or More Weight Loss With The Advocare 24 Day Challenge

Why haven't I lost any weight on the advocare 24 day challenge?

I'm on day 5 of the advocare 24 day challenge and I've been following it 100%.
I've actually never eaten so healthy in my life.
But I haven't lost anything at all, I've actually gained a pound.

Has anyone tried advocare products to lose weight? Results?

I know you don't want to hear this, but exercise is the only guaranteed way you are going to lose weight. Exercise is essential for your mind and body. How about you start working out 3-5 days a week and research nutrition, getting all the nourishment you need and cut down on bad foods? Then you're guaranteed to lose weight.

What's all of the hype about this Advocare stuff?

I am an Advocare Distributor, so I am biased, but I will try to present an overall view. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

In terms of the cleanse, it is a 10 day process that involves fiber and other nutrients to help clean out the body. It is recommended that you only do this once every 3 months, so your body doesn't go into shock from stripping the system repeatedly.

The 24 Day Challenge system is the 10 day cleanse plus a 14 day "max" phase, which is essentially rebuilding your system after stripping it clean. In total, there is a cleanse pack, meal replacement shakes, Spark (a sugar free energy drink), and other pills for you to take.

I personally have not done a 24 Day Challenge, but both of my parents have (they are distributors as well). My father lost 20 lbs. the first time and my mother lost 15. They were very successful. Since then they have both done it again, and have seen continued results.

The full 24 Day Challenge system is $190.25, with added supplements and other things available. The 10 day cleanse is $31.50, but you will probably end up getting meal replacement shakes to assist you through that phase.

How can I lose weight at home.?

Depends what you are willing to do
Fat is mostly burned through sweat, so you would want to do something that is vigorous enough to make you sweat.
For example, you could sit in a bathtub with temperatures over 100 degrees F for about an hour, and probably loose a little bit less than a pound.
It would work better if you have a sauna in your home.
Also, a healthy diet always helps; eat more fruits and veggies, and less fatty foods like meats and oils.
If you have a treadmill, run on that for about an hour with the warmest clothes you have, and you will probably loose a little more than a pound of water weight.
If you are trying to loose fat, then do something that requires most of the body, like swimming, or cardio.
Hope I helped! :)

What are some tips to lose 20lbs in 30 days?

First, ignore all the people who say that it is impossible; not only have I done it twice, I know several others who have done so.  My doctor has over 100 people on his program, and at least 75 of them lost 15 pounds in 30 days and eight of us lost 20 to 30 pounds, using a diet developed at the Mayo clinic in 1926 and used with the US Olympic Team. In fact, after losing 50 pounds in several months, I still lost 8 pounds in 7 days.  It is called a ketogenic diet, and as long as you don't have Type I diabetes, or low blood pressure, your doctor will probably give you the OK to proceed. Presuming absolutely no exercise, you'll need a diet of approximately 700 to 900 calories, with zero sugar, no bread, no pasta, no rice, no potato, no cheese, with a good mix of vitamin and mineral supplements: four "meals," breakfast of 15 g protein shake, another15 g protein shake at lunch along with 2 cups of vegetables (excluding, corn, carrots or beets), another of 15g protein shake, and dinner consisting of 5 oz lean meat or 7 oz fish with another two cups of vegetables, and as much raw celery, cucumber, onion, mushroom, green pepper, spinach, and iceberg lettuce, with a zero calorie dressing, as you like. You will also need to drink 1.5 gallons of water per day!  If you are more active and need more calories, you will have to keep the mix of 75% of calories from fat, 20% from protein and 5% from carbohydrates in order to stay in ketosis.

Can I lose 40 pounds in 3 months? I'm 176 lbs, 18, and is 5'4.

The short answer is yes. It is possible to lose 40 pounds in 3 months. Do I think it is a good idea? Probably not.You are looking to lose almost 23% of your weight in a short amount of time. You will need to average 3.33 pounds per week for 12 weeks. In order to achieve this lofty goal you will probably need a strict diet and intense exercise program. Not to say it can’t be done but it will not be easy especially as you work through training soreness, daily life stress, and weight loss plateaus.M suggestion is to have smaller achievable goals. Small wins builds confidence and keep you going when times get tough.Evaluate what you eat (food diary) and have goals to eliminate bad foods. ie for the next 2 weeks, I will replace all liquids with water. Instead of eating out/fast foods I will prepare all my meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) with lean meats and fresh veggies.get more active. walk more, get a pedometer and have a daily goal of 10,000 steps. Do squats or crunches during commercial breaks when watching TV. Get a work out buddy. If you can do these two things consistently for 2 weeks you are already on the road to new habits. They will be part of your new lifestyle. As you get stronger and more fit, you can begin to incorporate strength training and running (sprints) to turbo charge your metabolism. My opinion is if you do not change your current lifestyle, you will regain any weight loss in short order.
