Anybody Tell Me A Dua To Move Away Cats From My House

I think our house is haunted?

This might be a bit long but please bear with me...

My sister saw a jinn one week ago and last night my brother was crying in his sleep and my mother heard him so she went to his room to check what's up. She made him sit and was telling him to recite al fatiha but he was still crying and talking - it looked like he was talking to someone but he was facing away from my mother. After reciting it he went back to sleep and I don't think he remembered it this morning, so nobody mentioned it. Another thing that I found creepy is that every time I enter my sister's room I feel so creeped out because it feels like there's another presence there and I find the curtains flapping and there's absolutely no wind there! Wallahi I'm not lying - the windows were closed on all occasions and her door keeps opening on its own. My brother also complains about seeing jinns. I'm trying to sleep but I can't because this keeps happening. Last year, I kept hearing weird things and seeing objects in places I did NOT put them. I would also wake up with some mornings with bruises and bite marks on my arms. I have another sister too, she came to visit us and her baby was sleeping upstairs. She then heard him crying like something terrible was happening to him and she ran upstairs only to find him peacefully sleeping. Wallahi I think our house is haunted. I don't care if anyone thinks it's all in my head, but I've heard it and my family have seen it. It's haunted I tell ya!

What's the Islamic approach to this? Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with what's happening, but every night I hear a bunch of cats meowing outside my window. And my sister has recently begun having recurring dreams of a black cat chasing her and then stopping midway only to stare at her creepily. What is all this?

How do I overcome my fear of animals (cats, dogs, birds, etc.)?

i was always scared of big dogs when i was a kid , now i grew up they are scared of me...but i keep getting this dream that a lion bigger than me runs towards me and wants to kill me....what my thoughts are if am dying right here to a lion i might as just clench my fist as hard as i can and as hard as i never did in my life, feel that clench burning and hurting my hand so bad that i use it as a hammer , when the lion jumps i punch its teeth as hard as i can with a loud yell, the reason was that seeing death coming you will automatically push everything you got in that punch , infact you might win that fight...or not...lets face it you don't know and you have 51% chance to dying but ! you confronted it, it might even get scared with your reaction....lions and many animals expect you to run BETTER they hope that you run , there was a big dog running after me once i was so scared but angry i stomp the ground hard and yelled the dog stopped and ran away lol....my heart was racing , that dog bite a man once and with just a yell it ran....one advice...face the animal that scares u....i was scared of lions remember? well i went to casela park in my country and touched one :3 it was awesome i was scared but they are animals like you they need love they need food and shelter....

What is the dua of musa(as)?

If you can read arabic, please see Soorah Taa Haa (Soorah 20) starting from Ayah (Verse) 25.

---

@ Axel: that is a good du'aa too, may Allaah bless you. But that is not what the asker is referring to. Can you post 20:25 (and a few verses afterward)? That is the supplication the asker is looking for.

::EDIT::

@ Axel: put the other du'aa too (the one you deleted), it's good as well and easy to learn inshaa-Allaah.

(O Allaah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present among us and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allaah, whoever You keep alive, keep him alive in Islam, and whoever You cause to die, cause him to die with faith. O Allaah, forgive him and have mercy on him, keep him safe and sound and forgive him, honour the place where he settles and make his entrance wide; wash him with water and snow and hail, and cleanse him of sin as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. O Allaah, give him a house better than his house and a family better than his family. O Allaah, admit him to Paradise and protect him from the torment of the grave and the torment of Hell-fire; make his grave spacious and fill it with light. O Allaah, do not deprive us of the reward and do not cause us to go astray after this).”Â

Hope this helped:)

I saw a feral cat. I started to feed it. Today she was rubbing against my legs and let me pet her. What does this mean? Does it mean she likes me ?

Other people have already told you that cats that will rub up against you and allow themselves to be touched are most likely abandoned pets, not actual ferals, and that they would easily become good pets. I’m going to go one step further. This is Gramercy. He was completely feral and lived under a shrubbery for two years. When I finally rescued him, he lived under a chair for two months, coming out only to eat and to spit at me. As you can see here, he’s calmed down, loves to sit on the bed and be with people, and is very affectionate. What I’m telling you is that even a feral cat can become a good companion. The two cats that you’ve described are already quite tame and welcoming of company. If you have literal room in your home, pick them up and take them in. Take them to the vet to be checked out, and have them edited with parts deleted, if it hasn’t already been done. You won’t be sorry, and will have excellent companions for many years. If for some reason you can’t keep them yourselves, consider taking them in for long enough to foster them until you can place them in permanent homes. If you can’t do that, other people have advised TNR. When a stray cat is neutered, generally, a notch is made in one of their ears. In this way, if they’re ever picked up by Animal Control, they know that the animal has been fixed, and they get bumped up on the adoptable line. Even if they’re never picked up, avoiding stray kittens is a very good thing, to put it mildly.Good luck to you and the cats. It sounds like you’ve made a couple of good friends.

About Jinns and cats?

jinns can take the form of any living thing in this earth, it doesn't have to be a cat... but the form they take is usually ugly or lacking, but not always.

the jinn - black cat theory seems to be directly coming from the black cat superstition... there isn't any mention of it in islam.

we know that prophet muhammad s.a.a.w liked cats,

and Abu-hurairah means (the one with the kitten), it is in the seera that he had an amazingly strong memory and that when he was young he had used to spend most his time in the masjid and near muhammad s.a.a.w, and also he was famous of playing with kittens so "abu-hurairah" became his nickname and it stuck... he grew up to be one of the most respected Hadith narrators, if it wasn't for his efforts a lot of hadiths and sunna would have been lost.

so cats are one of the beloved animals for muslims, white, brown or black... don't give in to superstitions.

yes, it might have been.

but don't be scared jinns are power less when you recite quraan they can't harm you.

how you reacted was correct; could have said a3uzu billahi min al shaytan al rajeem; or a3uzzu billahi min al khubth wal khaba2ith; or recited ayat al kursy.... but you should have definitely turned off the music... its haram in essence; some scholars suggested that it might be an attraction to jinn. but allahu a3lam.

Why do cats sound like a crying baby at night?

I have had cats since I was 5 or 6 years old. I am now 71. I have heard cat make some sounds I didn’T think could come from a cats mouth. I have heard moans, crying like a baby, ear splitting screams, trills and sounds like a purr and a meow together. It would not surprise me to hear anything coming out of their mouth.I once had a cat that could say mama as clear as any child. If I ignored him get would just get louder. When I would cuddle with him he would just say ma.Cats can make many more sounds than they care to share with us. Personally I think they can speak English but only when humans are not around. I know for a fact that when they are along they plot against us !!
