Anyone Any Ideas Helping The World Sorta Thing

Do you think the world would be better off if we were all Amish?

Well, yes, to answer your question, the world would more likely be a better place - I lived and worked with the Amish in Pa. and they are wonderful people and make excellent neighbors. They also have a wonderful sense of humor and when they needed a ride to the hospital they did not hesitate to call on me for a ride in my car... there are many off shoots and different branches and beliefs amongst the community as to what is permissable... and as to being better off mentally as well as environmentally, to spend an evening sitting in a home with no hum of electric and the lovely calm glow of a gas lamp, well, it imbues an all is right with the world feeling of serenity...

What's Your Idea Of A Perfect World?

I like the thought in the Bible (Isaiah 65:21-25) They will build houses and live in them, And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. 22 They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full. 23 They will not toil for nothing, Nor will they bear children for distress, Because they are the offspring made up of those blessed by Jehovah, And their descendants with them. 24 Even before they call out, I will answer; While they are yet speaking, I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together, The lion will eat straw just like the bull, And the serpent’s food will be dust. They will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain,” says Jehovah.

Things will be the way God intended for them to be prior to Adam and Eve sinning losing out on the paradise conditions and living forever under God's umbrella of safety. Thankful God will bring those conditions back. Daniel 2:44

Did anyone else notice that Whitebeard's flag/symbol changed?

well generally when One Piece started to gain popularity overseas they realized that the original Swastika, from the Hindu religion and many others may be confused by idiots who only think of the swastika

Nazi: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Qg1eqdkooBs/TZ...

Hitler turned a symbol for peace into a symbol for hate, by flipping it as seen in the two examples above. another example in manga Would be Neji's forehead Hyuuga seal thing, which was later changed to a X, again because of overseas idiots.

How can I, as a high school student, begin my journey to changing the entire world?

Know thyself.  Like everyone else, you are naturally talented at some things, and naturally sorta clueless at other things.  Have as many different experiences as you can, and try to understand where your natural ability lies. You are much more likely to change the world if you are operating from those abilities which were built in to you from before the beginning.  Do a very careful inspection of your parents, grandparents, and other family members, you will likely find useful clues there.Changing the world is a big agenda.  You may not be ready until you reach the peak of your powers, at say, around age 60.  Be patient, and try not to get distracted  over the next 40-50 years, which will be a challenge indeed.

How would the world be different if everyone were exactly like you?

The prosThere would be no more violence. Yay!People would take much better care of the environment. Anthropogenic climate change, light pollution, littering, and similar problems would not exist.People would be healthier overall. I’m a “germaphobe” and very health conscious, so people would rarely get sick.Mosquitos would be eradicated from the face of the earth. There would be no such thing as “Keeping up with the Kardashians” or any other sort of monstrosity like that to plague the universe.People would have much more interesting conversations. Instead of asking things like “Hey, how are you doing today? ” people would greet each other with deep philosophical questions or just really weird things like “Bro, what would happen if every bodily orifice were replaced with a black hole? How long would that take to kill you? Would your entire face be spaghettified and pulled into your black-holes-for-nostrils?”The consPeople would all be very introverted, so social life as we know it would not exist.Nobody would be good looking. I have really sensitive, blemished skin on my face that scars easily, so I’m not much to look at.There would not be the many types of people who are essential to the functioning of society, such as plumbers and garbage collectors, because everyone would find those jobs to be boring.Beards would not exist, because everyone would lack the genetic makeup to produce them.Obviously, humanity would lack the diversity that makes people interesting. Everyone would have similar personalities, opinions, senses of humor, etc.All the answers to this question would be boringly similar.

Philosophy question...can anybody help me with my plato essay??

To put it simply, Plato belived that there were two worlds... the world of Ideas and the world that we see. We only see what we see because of the world of Ideas.

It's sorta like a cookie cutter. It is perfect in every way shape and form. But when you make cookies with it, some are broken and some are deformed. None of them are perfect. But we know what they're supposed to be because of the we saw the 'Idea' of the cookie... the cookie cutter. To go back to Plato, he believed that everything is the world was simply a 'cookie' of one main 'cookie cutter'. Because of this, what we see is not real. Only the 'cookie cutter' is real... the IDEA of it. Therefore, Plato believed that the world of Ideas was the only thing that was real.
