Is the Lord of the Rings film series the greatest fantasy epic to be portrayed on film?
I will opine yes, as The Lord of the Rings is pretty much unanimously considered the greatest fantasy epic of all time. It is certainly the most widely read, unless you consider epic poems such as The Odyssey and The Iliad, which while fictional are not generally considered as ‘fantasy’ literature.That being so, it would be by definition the greatest possible movie adaptation. Having been brought to screen more than once, it’s rung that bell for the foreseeable.I would seriously consider other suggestions such as the Arthurian legends or the Ramayana if both a coherent argument was made and a compelling film adaptation was made, however, even being a Tolkien lover since grade two.
Is TWILIGHT a epic fantasy series?
Epic fantasy series? I don't think so. I think you meant epic FAIL. 1. Twilight isn't fantasy. It's romance. 2. Twilight is boring, the characters are as responsive as bricks, and are also annoying and whiny. 3. HP, Narnia and LotR are all fantasy, and are entirely different to Twilight, so can't even be compared.
What fantasy novel cliches are too overused and boring?
Nothing is cliche and nothing is overused. Some people tire of a particular idea or genre and move on to another; but there's always someone else who takes over from there. All stories have been told; nothing is new or unique. What makes them interesting is how someone tells them and that is unique to each person. Don't worry about things being cliche; that just means that they are popular. If you have a story, tell that story and don't stop until it is finished. Then, do several rewrites. Your story will be successful or not based on how you tell the story, not whether or not it resembles someone else's efforts. Keep writing.
Is Final Fantasy 8 boring?
I know what you mean it wasn't very popular in the Series. Try playing 7 or 9 these were really good ones. Also a good one you might like that are far from boring and yet are still old school would be Star Ocean.
