Why are Americans thrilled about baseball, one of the most boring sports ever invented?
Baseball has a ton of appeal. It’s a slow game and it’s hard to miss much of it if you want to take a walk. It’s a great spectator sport when you go to a game. It’s right in the middle of summer, so you can just go and relax and catch a game.Statistics. Baseball is the ultimate game of statistics. Baseball is the finite state machine of sports. Every scenario has dozens of concrete statistics associated with it like what’s the batter’s batting average on a Sunday in June with a right handed pitcher during a sunny afternoon game. The quiet tension and suspense. Every pitch means something, every pitch has potential. Every pitch could change the entire texture of the game that follows it. The deeper into the game it goes, the more the tension can build. The amazing endurance of a baseball season, needing to win more than half the games while playing a game almost daily for over half a year.Baseball is awesome. The skills on displayBeing able to throw a ball 90–100 miles an hour, with incredible control and movementBeing able to see and predict the movement of the ball so that you can hit the ball .4 of a second after it’s thrownBeing able to actually hit the ball to a position on the field.Being able to hit the ball 400+ feetBeing able to react to the hit of a ball and make a play on it.The skills are subtle, but they’re there. The bottom line, though, is that you probably enjoy something that someone else finds boring. Why the fuck does it matter to you if I like something that you don’t? Why are you trying to kill baseball? What’s the joy in that? You don’t like it? Great. Get over it. Do something you enjoy.

Why is American money so boring?
The coins and paper money that all other Countries use such beautifull color contrasts and designs. Why is American money so boring? Why not make it more colorfull? Why has the money always looked so bland? I never noticed this until I started traveling.
Why is America Boring?
America can be hard depends on the situation that you are in, not everyone gets what they want, many have nothing, some Americans do not even have a place to sleep with there children, nor how they are going to support there children. The real America is much harder than you think when you want to make something out of yourself.
Why do I find American men so boring?
I am a Colombian girl but lived most of my life in Europe and never had a problem dating a European man. Now I moved to the US and I simply can not connect with the men here, most American men I meet are so simpleton like...... I try to have conversations with them when we go out on dates and I always sweep the floor with them when it comes to conversional skills and general knowledge...... I always seem to be the one having more interesting topics to talk about while they just sit and talk about their truck or their job or their football/baseball game on TV...... Back in Europe I found all kind of men who would talk to me about just anything, from politics to science to cultures to history to just romantic things. With American men these things simply don't seem to work, the topics always end up about how crazy they were back in college or how they made their company a profit of this many dollars a month, or how his great great grand father was Irish or stuff like that.
Why does it seem like no one likes Captain America?
Even more so than the fact that Cap's not as powerful as the others and an American icon, there's still the fact that he believes in truth and justice, fair play, honesty and hard work, Mom, apple pie and Jesus. He still stands for everything that made America great, everything that the modern world has either forgotten or decided to blame for the things America's enemies say are no good. This is how it goes in the comics, every time: A hero bumps into CA for the first time and has to team up with him. The hero starts thinking, "This 'Captain America' is a real loser, old fashioned, not powerful, self-righteous. I don't like him, I don't think I can work with him, he's gonna get us killed. I'd better tell him it's best if we split up." Then the bad guys gets the drop on them and the next thing, Cap has saved them both. The other hero winds up respecting CA because he realizes then that the patriotism and moral goodness aren't put-ons, The super-soldier serum made Steve Rogers powerful, but his love for America and his dedication to goodness and righteousness -- not a show of righteousness, but a commitment to always doing the right thing, no matter how much it costs him -- are the things that makes him a hero. People who are not willing to be morally strong will generally tend to look down on those who are, and that includes Captain America. 24 AUG 13, 1634 hrs, GMT.
