Does anyone else think that Disney Channel is going down-hill?
I know what you are saying i also grown up with those disney shows even some that had nothing to do with mickey but were still good. Like shows like Recess, the proud family, house of mouse,chip and dale rescue heroes, kim possible, and so much more. But now all disney cares about are their main stars and they put them in different projects. Like Demi lavoto in the past year has been in camp rock, sonny with as chance, and princess protection program. The old disney would get actors that were not in there channel and get new actors in there movies. I know were the bad decision of getting actors from there show on the tv movies it all started with chetah girls with raven. That was a hit so all there movies had the actors from there tv show. It is ok to do this one or twice but not all the time. It is also ok to do it if it is a movie about the show like the proud family movie, even steven movie, and most recently the wizards of waverly place movie. Another bad thing about disney channel is how many movies they put in a year. They use to have a movie for every mounth and I was always excited now they have 3 for each year. Disney channel is sticking the jonas brothers everywhere you look. They have a new show called jonas that they sing and act. They can hardly sing why make them act even worse then they sing. Also Diney channel use to be more about the cartoons then the live shows. I have to say That's so raven, even stevens, and Lizzie Mcguire were good shows but Disney had those shows and cartoons. Now they have one cartoon phines and ferb and that is horror show more then a cartoon show. not saying it is scary but the plot is what to do in summer and what they can invent how many episodes can you have about that. Again in this show they use actors from there live tv shows like ashley tisdale from suite life of zack and cody and mitchel musso from hannah montana. What happen to seeing cartoons on this channel. The only cartoon you see is on playhuse disney for the toodlers. Disney use to have the corny jokes we loved and laughed because they were funny. Now they have jokes that are so corny you can not even laugh. The only time you do laugh at it because it is so corny that is stupid. I wish they would have a day on disney to show all the old shows and make us teenagers of the past disney have a day to like disney channel again. please pick me as best answer!
I have disappointed my teacher badly, how can I redeem myself?
A lot of kids experiment with smoking, trying to "grow up" or maybe just because it's forbidden. I remember stealing a non-filter Lucky Strike from our housekeeper when I was 8; I never coughed so hard! I didnt' smoke again until I was 19, and unfortunately (as an adult) still do smoke; my dad was 58 when he died of cancer. People do stupid self-destructive things in life. As a kid, you know that smoking isn't really a choice you can or should make at this time, but a lot of kids do get into it and that's really unfortunate. If you do take that path consider who your friends will be in years to come. Fellow smokers throughout school? They're usually not the best students (and you sound like a smart kid who is enthused by school still, which is a rarity nowadays!) and are rebelling or dropping out of other things for a lot of reasons. You certainly sound like you understand you made a mistake and don't want to repeat it. I think your teacher will be happy to hear that. If you feel strongly that you won't smoke again, and want to reassure your teacher you could write a paper on the subject (what you've learned, what you'll do), but that might put additional pressures on you to comply. Are you comfortable making that vow again? You don't have to. You've already started writing the paper with your question in this thread. Consider putting more of your thoughts down on paper, and maybe talk to your parents about all of the above before getting back to your teacher.
Is anyone mad at Nick Saban for running up the score?
My friend is pist. He entered a college football pool. He picked Alabama to win with a total of 48 and he was tied with someone else who had Alabama with a score of 56. He would have had at least the split pot, if Alabama would have not run up the score. I wander what the betting line was.

Why do so many people hate the new nickelodeon so much?
Because it's true. This society is going down the toilet. Especially when it comes to the entertainment industry. In my opinion, most of the Nick shows these days are pretty stupid. Compared to the good old nick, it's really bad. And their latest little experiment "Nick Studio 10" doesn't really help. But nick isn't the only one. I think Disney Channel is almost worse. You shouldn't let your kids watch all these live action shows. Where they rely on the cheesiest jokes where the kids talk back at the adults and make them feel stupid by acting smart-***. And not to mention the poor and simple written story lines. I'm not sure if you watch Nickelodeon or any other kids channel. But I'll assume you are a parent asking this question. Just watch a few shows on these channels. Then you can ask yourself the same question. Now, go to youtube or something and watch a few older nick shows like the ones you mentioned. And see if it doesn't make you cry inside. I would go as far as to say these channels (especially nick and disney) can make a kid mentally challenged. Especially these Junior channels (nick jr and disney junior) where the characters act on a baby level and talk baby language. Having hero's and people the kid can look up to is very important. So when the characters act and behave, act and talk like little kids, the kids will obviously pick that up and behave the same way. And back to the live action shows. Unmemorable characters who talk back to their parents is not what I would consider good role models. The best thing you can do for you kid is to buy your kid a bunch of old hanna-barbera dvd's and give them real stories, memorable characters and hero's they can look up to.
Y&R ... Sharon to Nick "You cheated on me"?
Today when Sharon told Nick that while she grieved for Cassie, he was off cheating on her. That's not how I remember things. Nick actually went with Neil and Phyllis to track down Daniel and Lily who had run away together because Daniel was facing murder charges. If I remember correctly, while he was gone, Sharon turned to Brad for "comfort". Phyllis and Nick absolutely hated each other during that time. It wasn't until a few months later when Phyllis and Nick hooked up. So does Sharon really have the right to make that claim that while she was "grieving"(sucking face with Brad) Nick was off cheating on her?
I accidentally saw one of my Christmas presents......should i tell my parents?
Nick, is the phone acceptable or do you want another model? If it is acceptable, then say nothing and be grateful. If you are unhappy with their selection, and want them to get you the other model then talk to them so they call return it within the time period allotted. As of your dilemma of telling them you saw it- a fact of life you will get with life experience- we sometimes tell lies or do not disclose information so not to disappoint or hurt others. What harm would there be to pretend you are surprised vs. their thinking they have to return what they bought and buy you something else to make Christmas a surprise. When my nephews were you age they knew what their big gifts were going to be, because their parents did not want to get the wrong model.
Why doesn't Nickelodeon understand?
@danny Well of course money is the concern, but I think it should be their job to please their viewers and get paid, not to just show stupid shows and get paid. They're so corrupt and they're ruining Nickelodeon. The new creator of Nick obviously doesn't know how to run a channel. The least they can do to even make more profit is have a Nick rewind where they show the reruns of old shows and cartoons. I just wish that they continue making new shows, but not new shows that are stupid and not funny. I mean, they don't have to air the old shows again, but the least they can do is make new classic cartoons that still have the humor that they had back then. @David Yes, there probably is a new stupid creator that puts on random shows just to get paid. He probably knows the show isn't going to get any views so he just probably makes the creators of the show pay the New creator at Nickelodeon more money so that he still makes a profit while the show would get cancelled in

It will only last until those citizenship papers reach her.Think about it. She has achieved everything she can in India. She has a huge house in Mumbai (where tiny 1 bedroom flats can suck your middle class blood out), a Rolls Royce and a fleet of other luxury cars, a production house, 50+ films to her cap and a National Award. This is like an overachiever overachieving dreams.Now she has set her eyes on Hollywood. Because she is already a big star in India, she has a massive team backing her up with fashion, makeup, PR and career choices. You can see she’s trying really hard to make connections and build a trusted network. Almost every single day, the tabloids have some news about her and Paps don’t do anything for free, it’s likely they got her hooked by her PR.But all that travelling back and forth between India and US and visa restrictions is what is preventing her from wetting her entire foot instead of a toe. Something is still not giving her that oomph to make it in Hollywood.So what better way than to hook up with a young, hot and sort after pop musician in the US?This is not really about money or even the citizenship either. It is about the connections and social status she will gain. It will not only give her the necessary connections but will put her on the Hollywood map. A marriage with benefits, maybe a few biracial babies too cuz why not? I think it’s brilliant.
