Why did the filmmakers decide to kill everyone in “Rogue One”?
I assume the questions already ventured into the SPOILER territory but just in case:SPOILER ALERT!The answer is very simple if you pay attention to the “timing” of the end of the movie. This movie ends *right* were the STAR WARS (aka A New Hope) begins. Therefore if ANY of the prominent characters are to survive, then we should see them in the next movie or at least hear about them.The crawl of STAR WARS only mentions “During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR”. No names mentioned, no emphasis on how heroic they were and if there was any special character among them. But what they did was EPIC. It is on par with destroying the Death Star and see where that took the farmboy Luke and scoundrel Solo! They got entire sequels dedicated to their stories :) Knowing that Rogue One *can’t* have a sequel because there is no gap between it and the next movie in the timeline (literally: no gap, may be a few hours but that is hardly enough for a cool story about a band of rebels getting themselves out of the picture gracefully :D) it makes no sense to let the characters live beyond the end.Note: you might say they could go to hiding or something like what Obi Wan and Yoda did, but that logic does not fly here: a band of heroic rebels are going to keep rebellin’! And there is a rebellion for them with open arms after what they pulled off.The only alternative for them would have been imprisonment. They could be held in an imperial facility and years later rescued by some rebels/resistance/new republic people. But I think that would again pose the question as to “why didn’t the rebellion go and rescue its heros?”One final note: Killing characters can serve the story well if their deaths are meaningful. In this case I think all the deaths were meaningful as well as being logically (within the logic of the movie) unavoidable.

Fran BowA unique balance between fantasy and horror, Fran Bow is the dark twin of Alice’s Wonderland.7. SubnauticaSubnautica is an excellent game about the depths of an ocean. While not intended to be a frightening game, Subnautica certainly has it’s share of spooks as you explore the deep, dark depths of the unknown.8. Pony IslandA cute, happy fun game about ponies frolicking. Nothing sinister happening at all.9.
