Anyone else think overalls are gross?
I think overalls/bibs are gross. I'm not sure why. It might be the Oshkosh logo, which I have a phobia of perfect shapes (which the Oshkosh logo is a perfect triangle) but whenever I see anyone wearing overalls, no matter who the person is, I just say yuck. Does anyone else think overalls are icky?
A guy with a hot body has Overalls on and NOTHING under, is that hot?

...offensive. 5. I already stated what I think is wrong with Shrek. 6. the chip, I can sympathize with your point of view as well. I know that I will not do things just because I saw them in movies - although I still won't watch a movie with a good storyline depending on the amount of trash that's in it. What bothers me most is how much of it is being advertized as suitable for kids. Refer to my rant about the PG-13 rating... 7. trancequ33n, who do you think you're kidding? Any 13 year old with half a brain and the ability to listen and observe his/her surroundings DEFINITELY understands the jokes in Shrek. I grew up fairly protected (don't start a new argument about this, OK people?) and by the time I was 12 I could easily catch many 'off' jokes. 8. Tootsie, I know that Shrek was PG. That's why I listed it before the G-rated movies complaint. See above for my thoughts on Shrek.. And I read a LOT, more than I watch movies.. but I like to watch movies too!!
I have to wear overalls while I work outside tomorrow... Help!?
Overalls are actually really cute if you wear them right. Put a nice (not fancy or flashy, but something plain and clean-ish) shirt underneath them that can either be easily washed or that you don't mind getting dirty, and put your hair up, if you have enough of it, into a sloppy pony-tail that both keeps your hair out of the way and looks somewhat purposeful. You'll look more like you're being nice and helping out your mom than like a "dork." Also, if your friend is really a friend, then they won't care if you get put in overalls to do yard work. It's perfectly logical to wear things like that when you're working outside.
If rats and squirrels switched places (one doing everything the other did) but still kept their physical features, would they be viewed differently?
It depends on when this change would occur. If they were originally like this from the beginning of their existence they wouldn’t be viewed differently because they would be “normal”. But, lets say this switch happened today, they would be viewed differently due to a fear of rats. People in this society judge a lot on looks and think rats are gross (I personally don’t think they are gross, I had two, they are both dead now though) Overall, I think the answer to this question relies on when the switch would occur.
My kids think everything I cook for them is gross and prefer to eat chicken nuggets how do I correct this?
This is indeed a funny one. There are a few options, but first you need to instruct them of the purpose for food and how a necessary a balanced diet is. Afterwards, you can bring them into the food prep game. Work with them to create a shopping list based around what the week’s meals will be. Bring them along to pick out the ingredients for these meals. Then teach them how to help prepare the meals. While this may be a longer process in the beginning, they will gain a better appreciation for the process and also have ownership over what was prepared.The overall problem of the kids preferring the greasy, fried, over-salted, processed chicken-like product over a broiled chicken breast with vegetables and a light starch is always going to be there, as long as that’s an option. When I stopped going to [place random fast food joint here], the whole family very quickly stopped asking for [place random fast food joint here] because it was no longer a regular option and the taste for it had faded. With young kids it’s a little harder since they have friends and their friends’ parents may not have the appreciation for quality food that you do, so [place random fast food joint here] may be an option when they’re not with you.Good luck, but my history has shown that they will appreciate the food more if they have a stake in it’s selection and preparation.

Positive message? What the hell is positive about people losing limbs or that scary a$$ voice when they have a stoma? Meaningful? What is meaningful about a load of governmental scare tactics? People who smoke know that they're taking huge risks-they don't give a crap. Just like big fat people know that they shouldn't be in the drive thru at a fast food place. Seeing gross commercials stops no one from smoking the same way that seeing crashed up cars doesn't stop people from drinking and driving. It's a total waste of my tax dollars to spend millions of dollars on these ads; if the government really wanted people to quit, they would make it illegal to smoke. Maybe the government should make an ad designed stop lazy uneducated people from reproducing and sucking off of the welfare system-that would be positive and meaningful.
