Anyone Got The Info On Xanax In Orlando Area

Why can't I fill my Xanax with new prescription at a new pharmacy after I refilled my Klonopin?

They are both benzodiazepines but not the same drug. If your doctor prescribed both, you should be able to refill them both at the same time. That being said, if you use Walgreens, they have gone overboard paranoid to the point of refusing to fill controlled substances until they call your doctor and not only verify they prescribed it to you, but also ask them why they prescribed the drug and what your condition is. To me that violates HIPAA laws, but they are doing it and getting away with it.There have even been patients who have been on high doses of CII opiates and have been going to them for years and now they are being forced to suffer for up to 5 days without their meds while they check their prescriptions out (and with CII drugs, they always need to be a new hand written prescription- no refills, no call ins. So if they have a prescription in hand, it should be honoured.)It is unethical and none of their business. What you are taking and why is between you and your physician.I recommend you find a new pharmacy if you are being denied a valid prescription. This “war on drugs” is out of control. That's what happens when the government makes medical decisions for you. There is no basis at all for things to be how they are. People who need their meds are made to feel like addicts and are shammed because of unfounded & irrational fear over drugs.People make way too big of a deal over drugs (and we can thank the DEA for that.)

How can I find a doctor that prescribes Xanax that accepts medicaid?

Is this a medication you are currently on? In this case, I would recommend finding primary care physicians or internal medicine physicians in your area that accept your insurance, and when you call to make an appointment state that you were wanting a medication consult to refill the specific medication. The office staff may be able to give you some guidance as to whether or not that physician ever prescribes that medication, or if they would be willing to do it on a short basis while they get you referred to a psychiatrist.Xanax is a medication in the benzodiazepine family. It is a scheduled medication meaning it has the potential for addiction and abuse. Most physicians do not prescribe it as routinely or as long term as they perhaps once did. It is a better medication in the hands of a specialist (a psychiatrist). In fact, I will tell you that out of all the benzodiazepines, Xanax is the one I prescribe most rarely. It has a short duration of action and a higher potential for abuse secondary to the possibility of a "high".Even when used entirely appropriately these medications can become habit-forming.You should be aware that there are other medications to successfully treat anxiety that have a lower potential for abuse and addiction. I regularly prescribe busprione or other SSRIs or SNRIs for this purpose.I do prescribe benzodiazepines on a temporary basis in the event of acute bereavement or other major life stressors. I think its utility is primarily as a temporary or very occasional measure in conjunction with other medications and therapy.I also have a handful of elderly patients that have been taking this medication for decades to help with sleep. It's actually not a great medication for maintaining sleep, but if you're 80 years old and have been taking this medicine forever you tend to get pretty irritated with the upstart doc who tries to take you off of it :)

How can I get Xanax?

Xanax is hard to get these days. The opioids epidemic is filtering down to benzodiazepines. My doctor used to prescribe Xanax and 2 refills but not anymore. I have to see her in the office, and fill out a form about my mental state for refills.Last month was crazy. I was without Xanax for a whole week due to incompetence of the office staff. They were calling in prescriptions for 1 week at a time!! AND charging me $30 for each refill. Yes, per the doctor and assistant, they are making it harder for people to get Xanax.I have to ask this question. Are you asking because you take it as a recreational drug or do you need it for anxiety? If it’s for anxiety find a psych doctor and make an appointment. If it’s for recreational use, forget about it. Xanax is highly addictive and if your ‘dealer’ runs out you’ll start having withdrawals symptoms. You do not want to go through that. I lost 30 pounds when I stopped taking it cold turkey. I would never wish the horrific withdrawal symptoms on anyone. Please, read my other answer about Xanax withdrawals.FYI - if you’re thinking about getting it illegally the street price can range from $5 to $10 per 2mg bar.

How to find the right doctor for Adderall in Orlando.?

Good luck with that. When I moved there from SC I had a specialist who was prescribing 100 mg a day for narcolepsy. But they won't do any such thing in Orlando. I had to get my scrip picked up, filled, and mailed to me by my mom in SC. There's all kinds of shady pill-peddling docs down there if you want pain pills, xanax, etc., but for some reason nobody will write for Adderall.
