Anyone Have Any Ghost Stories They Wanna Share

Anyone wanna share their moving out stories?

I'm 23 now. I moved out when I was 17, a few months after I graduated. (My birthday is in November. I was always a few months younger than the other people in my classes)
I moved out mostly because I had no other choice. Our house was put up for sale by the landlord & my Mother was moving to North Carolina to take care of some things for my sister who was in the Army & going out on her 2nd tour to Iraq.

I wont lie. At first it was hard. It was hard because it took a long time to find some place affordable to live, the rent prices here are out of control. It was hard because finding somewhere that will rent to a person with a dog is incredibly difficult. Especially since I owned a larger breed. It was hard because I was just getting used to the idea of being out into the world out of school & I suddenly had a matter of weeks to get pushed out into my own place. It was hard because I was afraid for my sister.

I found a place that I could afford eventually & where I could keep my dog.
It was lonely sometimes. It was freeing other times. I've always been a loner by nature who prefers their own space & that part was nice. But it wasn't nice waking up in a house with no one else in it & eating my meals by myself. Coming home from work & being by myself.
I had my friends. My boyfriend. But it was still lonely sometimes.
Getting used to paying for EVERYTHING by myself was also challenge.

Soon I grew to really like it. I loved the idea that I didn't need to worry about anyone else. I learned to budget my money. I learned that this is how it was going to be. Once I stopped wishing for the comfort of how things used to be I started to be happy about how things were right then.

It was just a part of life. It had its challenges & positives.

Any personal ghost stories you want to share?

my father who lived in another state and hadn't been to my house in 2 years recently passed away. a few weeks ago, i woke up from a dream about him and thought i heard someone saying my name. My fiance is on a Business trip and hadn't been home in 2 weeks, and other than him, i live alone. Needless to say, i was very spooked, it had defiantly been a mans voice.

I went into the hallway, and i have a row of pictures along the shelf, as i passed the pictures, i got a very strong whiff of cologne, it smelt like the kind my father wore while i was growing up. My fiance doesn't wear cologne and i don't wear perfume because he has bad allergies. I stopped and looked at the pictures, i had layed the picture of me and my daddy down because i always started sobbing when i saw it.
Now, it was back up, more to the front of the shelf than it had been. No one had been in my house for a week, it had been laying there that morning, and i did not move it.

i believe my dad was telling me it was okay, i didn't need to be sad, and to not forget him. This has forever altered my beliefs about ghosts and spirits.

Do you have any ghost stories?

I've ben having dreams of ghosts lately. Don't know why. I have always believed in them.
Once I was sitting on my mom's bed and the end of the bed went booooooooop and low and behold a butt print was there. wtf.
also, a lot of weird stuff has happened there. anyone else?

Ouija board stories anyone?

Well Congratulation! You now have a mark of a demon on you. You may think I crazy, but you do. The same as I. When I was a teenager my sister and I played with Ouija Board. We did a lot of stupid things with it. And laughed about it....When I was 20 years old I almost burnt to death. At 21 years I hurt my back. I'm still having back problems. Every time life seems to be going good, something real bad happens. I have found God. I thank him every day. Because I know what can (would) happen without him. Even physic will tell you to burn Ouija board. They are portholes for evil spirits. Good luck.God be with you. You'll need it.if bad things haven't already started happening to you.

I want some one to tell me a REAL ghost story that happened to them, I'm gonna tell u a fake one u judge mine?

That was a very interesting story that you just told, but this one is true, and happened to me when i was 13:

I was standing at the dinner table using my new paper shredder, but i noticed that the atmosphere in my house was kinda different that night,i didn't think anything of it.I looked on our front porch and i saw the most beautiful snow white cat sitting right at our doorstep. Then i went back to my paper shredder and continued to work, but suddenly i felt this overwhelming presence. To my surprise, there was a lady in a white dress standing right beside me,i was completely frozen as she stared me in the face. She had long black hair and a white dress, but i can't remember anything else. This lasted for about 10 seconds and then she just walked into the wall.I ran to the back room to find my mother, but i just couldn't tell her what was wrong. She kept asking me "What's Wrong,What's Wrong"?and i finally told her what happened.

The part that surprised her the most was the white cat. When my mother was a child, she saw a ghostly white cat in her bed.To this very day,my mother is afraid of cats.My mother saw this ghostly white cat shortly before her grandmother (my great-grandmother) died.

I felt that maybe it was the same cat ghostly cat that my mother had seen when she was a child and now i was seeing it,like a sign or something. The white cat that was on the front porch the night i saw my first ghost walked into a drain pipe, never to be seen again.

Ouija board stories?

Sure, I tell you mine....
I was a college freshman at a dorm hall and a bunch of us friends and I got together to have a little fun on Halloween night. So...we decided to hold a sayonce. We drew a ouija board on 2 pieces of paper, the alphabets, yes, no and good bye.

so we all touched the marker, that you use and asked, made a figure 8 motion and asked the question: 'is there a spirit with us.' we waited and then the market moved and we got an answer 'yes'. We asked it more questions, and it would reply with answers. then we demanded that we wanted to talk to Satan! And the spirit became agitated, like it didn't want to answer any more questions, said no, and no, no, and in a flustered movement the marker to good bye. then we lost the connection. We called another spirit but we didn't want to scare it off so we just talked to it. It talked at length and eagerly answered questions.

When we went to sleep...that night, my friend said he could feel like something was watching him that night. And a few days following that, the spirit would toy with us. It would open spring-loaded doors, you know those kinds of doors close by themselves. twice it occured. One time, me and my friend were talking and the bathroom door opened by itself. Stayed open and then closed... I stopped talking, and asked my friend, did you see that? That door was closed, and opened while we were talking. Just now, he looks at me with an exasperated expression, 'yea, I saw that too is someone ****ing with us?' '****' lets go....

And the next morning, the door to the bathroom opened again! While I was brushing my teeth early in the morning before class. what the hell..? A week later, the spirit's ability to manifest itself on our physical plane diminished and it eventually went back to the place whence it came.

So, I say, from this story, spirits are real. They exist. And Ouija boards have the power to focus energies and open doorways to spirits, often evil spirits, maybe demons, so they can enter the physical world. The goal of these demons seem to be they often want to possess people. I would be very careful about pursuing if you are interested in these things. There are powers not of this world that we do not understand.

Go with God. May God bless you child. Remember always that God loves you. And you are not alone.

What are your ouija board stories?

i'm not planning on trying it.
but i'm just really curious. i know this man, my mother's ex boyfriend who did somthing like it when he was a teenager.
and eeryone he did it with got injured somehow.

Any ouija board stories?

Something happened with a ouija board while I was at university that I don't think I'll forget as long as I live. One night my friend Cassandra had invited myself and a few other students around to play the ouija board, she said that the lecturer had been talking about it in her psychology class and she wanted to try it.
We were in pretty good spirits (no pun intended) and asked it plenty of the usual silly questions. Are there any spirits here? Do you have a message? Is grandma in heaven? Who will I marry? and so forth. The board was quite obliging and kept the answers coming, sometimes they were a random jumble of letters but for other question a clear answer was given. Finally Suzette asked it what her future held and the board quickly and clearly spelled out Martin Greaves. The rest of us giggled at this answer, Suzette was a hard core lesbian and wouldn't touch a man with a barge pole. She asked, rather crossly, if the board had the name of a girl for her but the planchette headed decisively to No.
That was pretty well the last question, Cassandra put the board away and started making us coffee but Suzzette said she had to get up early the next day for cricket training and that she had to get her beauty sleep, to be honest she still seemed a little miffed at the board's answer.
As we drank coffee and chatted Cassandra explained that the board was moved subconsciously by the players, that it was called the ideomotor effect and that it was the way that pendulums and dowsing rods worked as well.

The next morning I was awoken early by the insistent ring of my cell phone, rather annoyed I struggled to open my eyes and answer it only to find it was Cassandra almost in hysterics. Suzzette's mother had called and told her that last night on the way home her daughter had been involved in a fatal accident when a truck driver had run a red light and ploughed into her car – at the intersection of Martin Avenue and Greaves Highway....
