Anyone Know A Horror Manga About A Woman Who Falls In Love With Her House

An unusual romance/comedy manga?

Basara (my favorite romance/action)
The main girl starts off kind of like the first description but there is a lot of character development. Her twin brother is "the chosen one", he is killed by the Red King and she decides to disguise herself as him and say that she was the one who died in order to lead her people. Along the way she meets Shuri, the two fall in love... but they both have their secret identities...
If you like Basara, then Saver is a good one as well.
1/2 Prince
I just really enjoy all of the characters in this manga even if they aren't "unusual". It is the year 2100A.D., humans have developed a virtual reality game. Feng Lan, due to a bet with her twin brother, vows to beat the game without using her "female benefits." Due to this, she becomes the first female to play as a male character in "Second Life." As her infamy rises as a blood thirsty warrior, can she keep her identity a secret from her real life acquaintances whom she has beaten up?
Superior
The demon queen subdued enormous and powerful monsters and slaughtered over half of the world's population. Surviving members of the human race elected a hero to slay the demon queen, beseeching release from her oppressive rule. However, he questions his mission to eradicate the monsters: in his opinion, they too are conscious and alive, and so he anguishes over that fact. Sheila the Demon Queen became interested in him and joined his journey, hiding her identity and with the plan to kill him after she has gained his trust. Eventually, she realizes that she fell in love with the hero, and hence their journey begins...

I usually read nothing but romance when it comes to manga but I just finished The Breaker. Awesome. You should definitely check it out if you ever get in the mood for something else (there is a hint of romance).

P.S. Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan is amazing. Totally agree with you there. Good luck finding the kind of manga you are looking for! I wish there was more unusual character types as the main leads in manga... everything becomes so typical after you've read a lot.

Romance manga where the guy and the girl start by hating/competing with each other and then fall in love?

Awr I also like this kind of mangas <3 ^^ You have to try these:

•L-DK - the main characters can't stand each other but then they have to live in the same house..?! Very good one, it's romantic, funny and sometimes pretty dramatic too ^^ must read! The guy is so hot :P
•Koi, Hirari - it reminds me of L-DK
•Watashi ni xx Shinasai - tsundere female lead
•Zenbu Chodai - the girl sees them as rivals ( it's like a mix of Maid Sama and Special A )
•Koibana! Koiseyo Hanabi - the female lead hates boy the most but then ...
•Himitsu no Ai-chan - so frigging funny!! And really romantic <3
•Obaka-chan, Koigatariki - awesome manga! The story line is very interesting, there's a love triangle
•Barajou no Kiss - fantasy one, reverse harem
•Remei no Arcana - with some fantasy and a lot of drama and romance
•Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen - historical setting ~
•Dear my Girls - the artwork is so beautiful... really good one, I like the strong female lead here! The main characters hate each other at first :)

Yeah that's it! Check them all out ^^ Hope this helped

Why do some females like Yaoi? (guy on guy action) anime / manga?

I once heard that yaoi fangirls prefer yaoi over heterosexual couples because they feel threatened by a good looking girl dating their favorite men. They don't want to have to compare themselves to a more attractive woman. Incidentally, this means that they believe a woman is innately more attractive to a man than another man. The repercussions of that are better left to gay-rights people to argue about.
They don't want a girl with the man they want, because they can't help but compare, and they always loose the fight, even if they don't want to admit it.
"The desire to compare originated in doubt," as Souseki Sensei once said.

I do not, however, believe that applies to everyone. Here I am, a narcissist who would welcome a worthy competitor with a fruit basket, trying to explain the psyche of my peers, yet neglecting my own. And that's just not fair.
Why do I like yaoi?
It's simple. I love interesting power dynamics. I love watching two dominates struggle for power. I love underhanded power plays and mind games. I enjoy conflict.
On the other hand, I dislike the blind acquiesce of one person to another, which happens far too often in heterosexual couples, both real and fictional. I HATE it. How disgusting.
I am a fan of yaoi for the simple fact that there is a lot more conflict in a yaoi pairing then a heterosexual one. I am aware, however, that most actual gay couples have a lot less issues, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy some good fiction, no?
That said, if a heterosexual couple has a complex power dynamic, I am by no means against it just because of the gender of the pairing. It's about the relationship, not the gender of the participants for me.

One last thing to address, it is possible that some of these yaoi fangirls simply relate better to a man than a woman. Genitalia aside, it's not that uncommon for a girl to be more of a guy than a girl, at least by the definitions created by our social norms.
