Anyone Know Any Korean Children

Korean children's song lyrics (butterfly)?

Wow! That song brings back memories from the good old days (from kindergarten). I've forgotten the exact lyrics because my memories aren't that clear but I think I've found the answer from a Korean site I got from Googling.

나비야 나비야 이리 날아 오너라
호랑나비 흰나비 춤을추며 오너라
봄바람에 꽃잎도 방긋방긋 웃으며
참새도 짹짹짹 노래하며 춤춘다

na-bi-ya na-bi-ya i-ri na-ra o-neo-ra
ho-rang-na-bi hin-na-bi chum-eul-chu-myeo o-neo-ra
bom-ba-ram-e ggot-ip-do bang-geut-bang-geut u-seu-myeo
cham-sae-do jjaek-jjaek-jjaek no-rae-ha-myeo chum-chun-da

I'm 90% sure this is right. But as I said, I learned this song way back in kindergarten. I can't be 100%.

Maybe try asking a Korean kid if you know any. :)

And I think you should be able to find the song on youtube if you type "나비야 나비야" into the search bar. But don't get confused with the song "나비야". That's a whole different song.

Anyone knows where i can watch precious family (korean drama)?

If you want to find a streaming episode, I would recommend checking the forums section at quicksilverscreen.com. Every time I search for a TV show, they usually have it there, so it's at least worth a shot.

As for it via downloading a torrent, my two favorite sites are thepiratebay.org or torrentz.com. So I would recommend checking there.

Out of those three sites, odds are in your favor that you will find it. Hope that helps!

What are some Korean children's songs that every Korean knows?

These are some of my favorites. I know these songs to the point that I don't know their titles, and had to look them up for this answer. They're called 동요 (dong-yo) and any typical Korean kid would know them. Traditional - generally related to nature나비야 (nabiya) - Butterfly산토끼 (santokki) - Mountain Rabbit고기를 잡으러 (goki-reul jaburoh) - To Catch Fish푸른하늘 은하수 (pureun-haneul eunhasu) - Blue Sky Silver Water (also comes with hand-clapping routine)옹달샘 (ong-dal-sem) - Spring in the Mountains섬집아기 (sum-jip-aki), -- (one of my favorite lullabies)갑순이와 갑돌이 (kapsooni-wa kapdoli) - The Story of Kapsoon and KapdolModern - might include American or Japanese influences코끼리 아저씨 (kokkiri ajusshi) - Mr. Elephant원숭이 엉덩이는 빨개 (wonsungi ungdungi-neun ppalgeh) - A Monkey's Butt is Red올챙이와 개구리 (olchengi-wa geguri) - Tadpole and Frog내 동생 (nedong-seng) - My Younger Sibling둥굴게 둥굴게 (doong-geul-geh doong-geul-geh) - Round and Round곰 세 마리 (kom semari) - Three Bears작은 별 (jakeun byul) - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star아빠 힘내새요 (appa him-neh-seyo) - Go Dad테레비전에 내가나왔으면 (terebijun-eh neh-ga-nawasseu-myun) - If I Came Out On TV뽀뽀뽀 (ppo-ppo-ppo) - Little Kiss (This is more generational, as it came from a popular kid's TV show when I was young––think Sesame Street style.)

Does anyone think there will be a civil war in North Korea?

Much higher probability of a Civil War in the US than DPRK. In DPRK only the Government has guns. And only those most loyal to the regime have bullets. Not so in the US - where anything that walks has a gun and typically the least stable have more guns and ammunition than God.And lets look at the underpinnings of civil unrest in the US. Here we have a President that a certain class known as “Evangelicals” - ostensibly for their high moral values and - hold their noses and vote to support a repeated serial sex offender, libertine - who has spread his seed upon threshed fields with gleeful abandon - worships the lie and murders the truth on a daily basis. These so called Evangelicals support this affront to their core values because he has promised to reverse a woman’s right to determine when she is ready an able to have a child. Seems unreasonable since these evangelicals are not pouring billions of dollars into poor inner city projects to improve the lives of the millions of urban poor - who are poor largely because they are unable to economically provide for their children. So evangelicals want to destroy a woman’s right to chose, are willing to vote for the devil so a new generation of ultra-poor women will be cast into slavery whilst their children live in Hell.I can see why there might be unrest in the US - not so much in DPRK. Born into Hell and that’s all you know - you come to accept it.

Why do the South Korean elite send their children abroad?

I think I’m pretty qualified to answer this question, considering I studied abroad, despite being more ‘upper middle-class’ than actually ‘elite’.Technically, we moved abroad due to my dad’s job. But honestly, part of the reason my dad aimed to get a long-term job abroad in the first place was because he wanted me to have an international education. Why?English. South Koreans tend to have an obsession over learning English, and being fluent in English often infers one is wealthy and well-educated (given that said person is Korean). As such, a lot of people study abroad to have a hands on experience with English immersion, pretty much. The ‘International Experience’. Similarly, having been educated abroad insinuates one is worldly and well-educated - thus there’s a slight perception that studying abroad will broaden your mind (which, I believe, is true to a certain extent). To escape the South Korean education system. This is probably the largest reason why people study abroad. Most people hate the inefficient and dull education system that exists here. Thus, they tend to try to send their children to international schools that offer other education options, such as the IB or AP. As someone who’s undergone the IB, I definitely agree it’s prepared me a lot more than the Korean system would have.As a ‘spec’. The Korean society runs on something called ‘spec’s, basically a list of qualifications and experiences that look excellent on your resume. Having lived abroad certainly looks good on paper, especially if one has the Toefl scores and degrees to support it.As a method of escaping South Korean society in general. A lot of Koreans see studying abroad as the first step of emigration.Certain International degrees seem superior. I mean, would someone prefer a degree from ‘Harvard’, or one from ‘Seoul National University’. Most people, even if they knew what Seoul even was, would probably have chosen the first in a heartbeat. The same applies to Koreans. Those are pretty much the factors I see at them moment. Either way, most Koreans accept the foreign ‘private’ education system as superior in many ways and find it more appealing.

Korean preschool shows?

I have downloaded on my phone an KBS world app.
KBS world used to show some children shows, on Saturday, due to my location I could only watch it at night, as I live in different time zone.
I have no idea if they still show it.
It was about two adults singing songs and telling stories with little children.
It's quite useful to learn basic Korean, but I am afraid KBS may no longer air it.

Do Koreans get annoyed with Koreaboos?

Personally I do. I have no problem with non-Koreans liking Korean things (dramas, KPop) or being interested in our culture or asking questions about our history or wanting to learn our language. I think that’s sweet. That’s also not being a Koreaboo. Koreaboos are non-Koreans (in America usually white people) who basically want to BE Korean or who think that they can some how become Korean. At first I saw the Weeaboos, those obsessed with Japan, but in the last 10 years or so it’s been Koreaboos. Contrary to popular belief Koreaboos are not just little white girls who want to grow up and marry a Korean man and live in Korea thinking this will make them Korean too (it won’t) and most Korean men do not look like drama actors or KPop stars so they’re going to be disappointed (I think they’re attractive but then again I’m Korean). Koreaboos are quite often middle aged white (or sometimes black) men who think by marrying a Korean woman they’ll become Korean. Or even older white women who befriend Korean women to “become more Korean. You can’t become Korean, the only way to be Korean is to be born to at least one Korean parent. These people usually speak Konglish (English with a few Korean words thrown in, usually not pronounced correctly) and are obsessed with anything and everyone Korean. My children and I have been befriended by Koreaboos, we’ve been asked out by Koreaboos. It’s not because they like us as people or as women, it’s only because we are Korean. I think Australia is cool but I don’t walk around speaking in their accent and pretending to be Austrailian. That’s just stupid. Part of my irritation is cultural appropriation, the rest is just annoyance at people trying to be what they are not. And it’s hurtful to find out someone only likes you because of your race. I don’t see them as much in Korea as I do in the US. Korean men seem to have less of a problem with it, having a little white girl fall all over you is ok to some Korean men, others are just as annoyed because they realize that it’s not them as a person, it’s their race only. But in general, most Koreans I know appreciate people who are interested in our culture or our language or our food but Koreaboos are on another level. Anyone who is obsessed with anything isn’t someone I want to be around.

Is there any Korean anime?

Ignoring "outsourced" series sent to Korea for animation, there aren't many Korean Anime series.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_anim...

Though there are a handful of Korean animated movies (including CG films) such as:
-Shin Angyo Onshi (Blade of the Phantom Master)
-Ark (same studio as Final Fantasy: Spirits Within)
-My Beautiful Girl, Mari
-Aachi & Ssipak

------My own personal recommendation being:
Wonderful Days / Sky Blue - mixes classic 2D animation, 3D CG, & real life film to create a very eye-candy full movie.
