Anyone know where in Edmonton I can buy mason/ball jars?
I need a few 1 quart mason ball jars, like the ones here: http://www.amazon.com/Jarden-62000-Ball-Quart-Mason/dp/B000X1O8BI Any brand, preferably smooth. I looked on Micheals website and Walmart.ca and they don't have them listed (Walmart.com does have them if I did live in the states...). I really don't want to order this type of thing online. Any one know where I can get these in Edmonton (or failing that, Vancouver?) Thanks

Where can I find international magazines such as GQ and Maxim in Italian?
you mustn't prefer identity to purchase Maxim. you certainly do no longer prefer it to purchase GQ. i understand maximum shops have started to place blinders on newsstand holders of particular male magazines, giving the impression that they are pornographic. Maxim, FHM, Stuff is probably no longer the classiest of magazines, yet i do no longer think of they are porn. FHM comes especially close, yet no cigar. I commend you for desirous to study GQ. great magazine with amazing writing. once you're searching for T&A, I recommend sticking to Maxim, which has 0 priceless editorial content textile. or you are able to consistently purchase Stuff and FHM it particularly is a step above toddler porn.
Whyte Avenue. Places on or near Whyte where I know I've seen fun stickers before:Junque Cellar (second hand, so stock varies)Chapter'sChicken ScratchOld Strathcona Antique Mall (second hand, so stock varies)Shell Shock (those are obviously marijuana/psychedelic themed, so they might not be your bag)Edmonton also has a bunch of great stores geared at selling supplies to teachers and educators that have TONNES of stickers - more of the "gold star" variety than the quirky/fun kind you're talking about, but might still be worth a look. The Education Station and Scholars' Choice are the 2 bigger chains.I'd also suggest DeSerres craft store (there's one in West Edmonton Mall). I'm not 100% sure if they'll have stickers like what you're looking for, but they haven't failed me yet for unique craft supply-type things, so they might be worth a shot.
Both are wrong if used just by themselves. The phrase "anyone know" must appear in the right question form:Does anyone know? And when you use 'knows', it should be with 'someone' or 'no one' or 'everyone':Let's ask around, maybe someone knows where Tim went.We asked a lot of people, no one knows where he went.Everyone knows that Tim went to London.
Anyone know of a good way to find high quality restaurants in Edmonton, Canada?
Since people have already posted some review sites, I thought I'd leave you a few personal faves. A couple nice places (really good food & service, based on my experiences) are Ric's Grill Downtown (www.ricsgrilldowntown.com), The Copper Pot (http://copperpot.ca/), and Chop (http://chop.ca) Happy Birthday!
Both are great places to live. Although my husband would never live in Toronto even though my daughter lives in Brampton a suburb of Toronto.Which is better depends on what your looking for. Toronto has a great harbor downtown and the beaches are wonderful in summer. If you like sports Toronto has more professional teams such as the Blue Jay’s baseball and the Raptor’s basket ball. Jobs in manufacturing, banking, and technology are available in Toronto area. The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) has a population of 6 million people. It is the fifith largest city in North America. The only US cities bigger are New York and LA. So, it has a lot to offer but it is a busy place.Edmonton has a great river valley that winds through the city with many parks and golf courses. Downtown is transforming with more people living downtown than ever. Great restaurants, night clubs, new arena district, a new art gallery and the Royal Alberta Musem is opening soon. There are some downtown parks like Sir Winston Churchill Square and the Alberta Legislature grounds is open to the public. Edmonton quite spread out and many neighborhoods have walking trails, playgrounds and spray parks. Leisure centers with many amenities are located in different parts of they city with pools, skating, and fitness offerings. Metropolitan Edmonton has a population of 1.5 million. It is much smaller than Toronto so it is not as busy and it is a lot easier to get around.Edmonton has a much younger growing population with an average age of 37 and Toronto is about 41.Edmonton has a lot to offer young families and businesses. Nice place great people more affordable. Closer to the mountainsToronto a bit more hip, great place for business, and more people/traffic is crazy. More expensive for families and way higher taxes. Closer to the Great Lakes and Niagra Falls.I love Edmonton but Toronto is ok too.
