Anyone Seen Fast And Furious 6

If you’ve never seen any Fast and Furious movies, should you start with the first, or is there a better way to approach the franchise?

If you’ve never seen any of the Fast and Furious movies you should start with the first one, The Fast and The Furious (2001).Mostly because it’s a good, complete movie that provides the key motivations and defines the roles that are (mostly) present in the rest of the series. But, you don’t really need to. You could start with Fast Five (2011), for example, and sacrifice 2% of knowing what’s going on but just spend your two hours watching a superior movie with 5x more budget, 10x better actors, and the best overall action/car sequence of the series.I answered a slightly different version of this question in these answers:I wrote about the best movies of the franchise here: Jonathan Brill's answer to Which is the best movie in The Fast and the Furious movie series?I wrote about the best race scenes here: Jonathan Brill's answer to Which race scene from all of the Fast & Furious movies do you think is the best? And I wrote about a “machete order”, or a way to get the gist of the series without watching all 8 films, here: Jonathan Brill's answer to Is there an equivalent of "machete order" for watching The Fast and The Furious movies? If you’re committed to living your life a quarter mile at a time[1], however, I suggest you watch all 8 movies in the order in which they occur in the Fast and Furious universe, not by release date. This is a bit confusing, but I cover it here: Jonathan Brill's answer to What is the chronological order of the fast and furious movies?Footnotes[1] The Fast and the Furious (2001)

What is the plot from fast & furious 6?

The plot should never be the reason to watch a Fast & Furious movie. But if you are still interested, here goes. Fast & Furious 6 continues from where Fast Five left off. Dominic Toretto's (Vin Diesel) crew is still on the Wanted list but the members have safely relocated to various places around the globe, upgrading their lifestyles after the big haul from Rio. Enter Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) and his crew, which includes a certain Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), who are knocking off military convoys with a bigger plan in mind. Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) knows only one crew who can stop them (of course!). Time to call them out of retirement. And what's in it for Toretto and Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) and the crew? Chance to take Letty home, and complete amnesty for their past crimes. Of course, what follows next is packed with slick action, action and more action, in the Fast & Furious style. Now that is the reason why you should go for a Fast & Furious flick!

Fast and furious 6 ending?

Your synopsis of the ending and connecting the films is true, but you are just talking out of you a** about the rest. The actor who played Sean hasn't been confirmed for Fast 7, and the main villain is Jason Statham and according to the outgoing director he will be hunting the rest of Vin's team in revenge of his brother (Owen Shaw)'s death. It has been said NO WHERE that Taylor Lautner will be in Fast 7.

Is there a relation between fast furious 6 ending and fast furious Tokyo drift when Han dies?

Yea this is the lead up to the 7th movie it continues after the car crash

Does anyone else think that Fast and Furious 6 sucked?

I used to be a fan of the Fast and Furious movies, but they seem to have changed their focus from the cool cars to shooting and completely over the top fight scenes. I'm not trying to be rude to anyone, but do you have to be a complete retard to enjoy this movie? I don't want to spoil this piece of garbage to anyone who hasn't seen it yet, so read at your own risk.

1: The director thought that appealing to the basic laws of physics would be too much of a burden, so he took them out of the picture all together.

2: There must have been a shortage of fake blood at the party store because whatever rigorous and potentially life threatening event that these characters of this movie happen to go through doesn't even cause them to break a bone, let alone the skin even!

3: Dom being able to do a wheelie in his Daytona Charger at the beginning of his race against Letty is completely irrational due to the fact that it sits way too low and drifts later on in the race. Also taking turns better than an F1 car.

4: Mythbusters have proven that the air speed coming out of a jets turbine at full throttle is equal or faster than that of a tornado, but yet military jeeps and a dodge avenger have no problem using hand held harpoon guns to eventually bring the mighty beast down into a fiery wreckage.

5: I don't want to even bring this part up, but the fight scene lasted for atleast 35 min. while the jet was barreling down the runway at full speed. HOW LONG WAS THAT RUNWAY!?!?!?!?!?!?

6: Why did they have to throw Jason Statham in at the end confirming that there was going to be a seventh movie? Haven't they ruined the series enough already? This movie was worse than Indiana Jones and the Crystal piece of crap.

The list could go on forever, but I just tried covering the main parts. Comment and share your opinions if you agree and comment and hate to hate on me to show just how intelligent you really are.

In Fast & Furious 6, how long would the runway have to be to accommodate the entire scene if it happened in real time?

I don't have exact specifics for the scene, but let's throw some numbers out there just for fun.15 min scene (rough guess)1 min to land the plane at ~100mph* = ~1.6 miles8 min to load plane at ~80 mph (assuming some slowdown) = ~10.6 miles6 min trying to take off at ~150mph = 15 milestotal = ~27.3 miles...the longest commercial runway in the world is about 3.4 miles [List of longest runways]....the longest military runway in the world is about 7.5 miles* I say 1 min here because the scene started out with a bit of a chase on the runway before the plane landed and presumably the cars had to keep up with the plane's landing speed; we are assuming perfect "precision", per Shaw's motto, in the timing of starting the getaway and the plane beginning its descent

Will I need to see any of the Fast and Furious movies before seeing Furious 7?

The answer to your question is yes you will be able to understand the movie if you haven't watched the earlier parts.  But will you be able to understand everything,  every scene and how everything is related?  You still can get it.  You need two basic ingredients for that. First,  common sense and deep observation.  You will be able to connect the dots and understand the main concept. Second, friends who have watched the other parts who can drop in hints once in a while if you miss the dots. It's an amazing movie and I liked all the plots.  The action sequences are definitely good.  But I could mouth some of the dialogues, as they were very common and predictable. Conclusion: go ahead and watch it. :-)

Fast And Furious 6 50Cent look alike..?

I recently watched fast and furious 6 and one of Shaw's henchmen that was driving a truck in the bridge scene looked exactly like 50 cent. I was wondering if anyone else thought that too and if anyone knows that actors name? I can't seem to find a screenshot but its around 25 seconds on this video..

Is The Fate of the Furious better than Fast and Furious 6?

I would say so, yes. A fair comparison would be that Fast 8 is what Fast 6 would be like if it were more dramatically inventive. Same high-octane, ambitious action, but a lot more of a sense of impact.Fast 6 is comparatively a bit brute force, superficial, and maaaybe just a tiny bit forgettable. Its setpieces are some of the most ambitious in the series, but the circumstances that bring the characters to them are a lot less dramatically interesting. That isn’t to say it’s bad; the action itself is reasonably fun and inventive at a superficial level. But it definitely lacks a sense of impact compared with the other movies in the series for the fact that the plot is just “chase this bad guy.”Fast 8 succeeds in creating an interesting dramatic situation by introducing a formidable villain with a unique hold over Dom, in turn causing him to be pit up against his own crew. Both the core problems of the movie and the solutions the characters have to find are very interesting, with characters from previous movies in the series shifting roles in surprising ways, thus making the action more unique and memorable, and the stakes more personal.
