Anyone Surprised Another Hollywood Elitist Is A Hypocrite

How hypocritical is Hollywood?

Hollywood is epicenter of hypocracy. There is one way of explaining it; Hollywood is all about money and public image. Having that said Hollywood doesn't put its money where it's mouth is as the below will demonstrate…Equal pay: why does Jennifer Lawrence get a lower renumeration than a małe co-star who has exactly the same commercial and public profile (basically does the public like you and how much money did your precious film bring in)[1]Racial Profiling & Ethnic Stereotyping: yep according to Hollywood an unacceptable practise yet it portraits most of the Hispanics as either manual labours or homicidal maniacs dealing drug. Blacks:[2] drug dealing, womenizing either super athletic or fat guys. Asians: smart, living hidden behind a wall cultural silence or masters in martial arts. Whites: perfect tooth, jawline, hair. Evil geniuses or great feeling loving people. Suck at dealing and oh yeah Asians and Whites never smoke on the white screen while blacks and Hispanics does. Curious isn't itEnvironmental stances[3] : many actors and actrices open support environment related topics yet seldom put their money where their mouth is. Big cars, big houses, private jets, film sets full of pyrotechnics, swimming pools, private helicopters. Great examples for all of us!Politics: oh dear don't dare to be a Republican or Trump supporter because that is not acceptable yet few have used their influence to actively via lobbying combat the newly accepted Tax Reform which really hits on mainstreet…Hollywood is Holy: yes Hollywood acts en believes it is above everything and therefore feels it is its calling to either guide or provide social, moral and ethical guidance to the lesser people. Its audience.[4]I love good films and series. Don't get me wróng but it will be the day that some actor and actrice will have to lecture me about anything. Easy to judge from an morally corrupt tower isn't it .Footnotes[1] Wealthy CEOs vs. Hollywood Actors: Why Only One Group Is Worth Criticizing over Income Inequality[2] Wealthy CEOs vs. Hollywood Actors: Why Only One Group Is Worth Criticizing over Income Inequality[3] Emission impossible: Why Hollywood is one of the worst polluters[4] The post-Weinstein Golden Globes was an exercise in hypocrisy

Is Trump’s policies a threat to Hollywood elite’s profits? Is that why they hate him and the middle working class loves him?

Just gonna take a shot in the dark here, I don’t know if he’s cutting into their profits, but I can tell you first hand being a part of the blue collar working class that we don’t give a shit what the elites say about him. Under President Obama it was all good because he was hip, cool, and a great speaker. I agree that POTUS Obama was a great speaker, but the guy could do no wrong to the left and specifically the “Hollywood Elites”. Obviously from my grammar I’m not a Rhodes Schoalar, I’m an Automotive Technician for General Motors and I greatly appreciate the bailout. But why do I have to hear Leonardo DiCaprio preach about climate change during an awards ceremony when I know he’s going to jump onto a private jet that pumps ours 20x more emissions than the vehicles I work on during a work week? It’s bullshit and it’s hypocrisy. The average American doesn’t want to hear about climate change they want to hear about the economy. I don’t want someone telling me I can’t smoke cigarettes, drink a beer, eat a medium rare steak, or say “illegal immigrant”. Like I said I’m no scholar, just a blue collar guy with a shot in the dark. I apologize for the typos, I chose trade school.

Does it make someone a hypocrite if they want tighter gun control, but also have armed guards with them every where they go?

I wouldn't say it makes them a hypocrite. I'd say it makes them an elitist.Imagine being wealthy, living in a safe neighborhood, and having the highest level of security for you, your family, and your possessions at home and anywhere you go. You don't have any worries about you personal safety. You don't worry about being robbed, raped, assaulted, or murdered. You feel incredibly safe. Now imagine you are poor, you live in an unsafe neighborhood, and you worry about your family's safety and your safety almost constantly. You can't have anything nice even if you could afford it because people would probably just steal it. You can't afford security like the wealthy person to help feel secure, but you may be able to save enough for a gun to help insure you a small amount of personal safety, but this wealthy person is scared that you may endanger him by having a gun. He assumes that the only reason you want a gun is so you can harm or rob him, and has nothing to do with you wanting to be safe.He pays people to push legislation that prevents you from getting a gun. He uses examples of terrible people with guns doing horrible things that you would never do to prevent you from getting a gun you only want to be safeHe values his safety much more than yours. It's his right to feel safe, but he already should feel safe because he has armed guards protecting him at all times. He wants to deny you any ability to feel safe in your own home. He wants you to feel like the bad person for wanting a gun to have the level of safety comparable to his. This makes him an elitist.

What do conservatives mean when they say “liberal elite?”

Charles Murray is an economist and political scientist, who is hated and feared by the liberal elite. So hated and feared, they encourage violent demonstrations to prevent people from hearing him speak.Think about that for three full seconds. In his book Coming Apart, Murray notes that rich ultra-liberals tend to live in bubbles: Zip-codes filled with other rich ultra-liberals. They almost never hear political counterpoint at home, nor do they have their beliefs challenged very often - if at all.Sometimes this “in the bubble” thinking manifests in loud and obnoxious outbursts from their pampered adult children who’ve never listened to a non-liberal view in their entire lives. See the left-wing violence on campus at Berkley, Portland and the general War on campus. These ultra-rich ultra-liberal zip-code bubbles, are surrounded by rings of zip-codes filled with slightly less liberal folks. Rinse, Repeat… ‘till at last you find a few conservatives.Continue from there to fly-over country where most folks are at least fiscally conservative. There you’ll hear completely different ideas. Most years, inside-the-bubble-people never go there. These ultra-liberal-elite bubbles exist in the rich parts of most cities. They are extra concentrated in the media centers of Washington DC, NYC, Boston, San Francisco, and LA.Liberal-elites spend all their lives inside their bubbles. They are not aware of folks in fly-over country, or what they are thinking. This explains how the Blue-Team missed understanding how much they’d pissed-off people outside their tiny bubbles. This explains the election of DJT and the loss of over 1,000 seats in Federal and State legislatures. The surprise election of DJT gave the liberal-elite a choice of hunkering down inside of their bubbles — or venturing out and listening to not-in-the-bubble thinkers. They have mostly chosen the former. So sad.Agree with me or not, it’s still a free country — for now.If I’m right: We’ll see significant gains by the Red-Team at the State and Federal level in the 2018 elections.

Who are the "liberal elite" and why do conservatives hate them so much?

Who are the "liberal elite" and why do conservatives hate them so much? The term “liberal elite” generally refers to the “elite” fields of the U.S. that tend to the left - academia, Hollywood, the media, and Silicon Valley are some good examples.I’d tend away from saying conservatives “hate” them, but I think a good deal are angry with them, and a lot - I would say most - consider them hypocrites. Why? Well, there’s a common perception that these “elites” say and don’t do, simple as that. Katy Perry says the solution to Islamic terrorism is “love” and “no walls” - yet Katy Perry is surrounded in her multi-million dollar mansion in Las Angeles by a large wall. Katy Perry won’t let the paparazzi into her property, so why should middle-class Americans let illegal immigrants into the country, with the possibility that those immigrants could take their jobs?Another example is the smugness of academia, who often hide behind they labels as “experts” to spread false narratives. Robert Paxton, the author of The Anatomy of Fascism, gave a series of interview to news outlets to talk about his book, and in them he made a series of comparisons of President Trump to Hitler and Mussolini. The media used his status as an “expert” on the subject to suggest that some unbiased historian was giving a serious thought to the comparison of Trump to fascists. The tech industry - well, unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past two weeks, you know how conservatives feel about corporations like Google. Finally, the most targeted one is the media. This one is a very easy target because modern journalists are so ignorant of their biases. They live in big cities, and they tend to reflect that. They really are disconnected from middle America in an astonishing way. A Bloomberg poll found that only six percent of Americans felt Russia is the most important issue right now, yet the cable news channels spent 70% of their coverage on that issue. Please note this is all from a conservative’s perspective, not objective facts. But think about this perception, and see how conservatives are frustrated with the elite of these fields, and many others. The attitudes of the liberal elite are what drove Trump to the Oval Office, so it’s not like this isn’t relevant.
