If you want to try out Mine craft Multi player go to the mine craft forums or just type in "Mine craft server Ip's". From Mine craft Forums you can find new texture packs, add on, and a ton of people that like to play Mine craft. If you already have an ip just enter it into your mine craft multiplayer screen. To get an ip type in "minecraft server ip's" get the ip (the bunch of numbers and periods) and then enter it. Happy building!

Are there Minecraft servers for people who like to play in a cooperative survival or hardcore mode?
They definitely exist. I play on a server called Enova. The IP is enova.gamename.net.They have plugins to compliment gameplay, but the style is overall what could be called “Civilization-based”. They focus a lot on letting players run the world - everything from government forms to the economy are controlled by players. There are jobs you can get, you can hire players as assassins, set up a black market for crimes, become a freedom fighter and protect the weak, etc.In the earlier days it was difficult to survive against the environment since there weren’t any established markets and the mobs were on the hardest difficulty. They’re working on adding custom mobs somehow, too.Right now the community isn’t too large: An average of 70 or so players that play regularly, with about 13 maximum online at any given time. It’s not hardcore, and at this point it’s pretty safe to live in a city if desired, but nevertheless, it’s still cooperative survival.

I am a Minecraft player and I have had nothing to really do this summer so I've been playing Minecraft a lot. I would like to be able to play Minecraft with someone who plays almost every day like me. I would prefer to use skype to communicate with since it seems so convenient. I havn't played on a faction server in a wile but I'll play with someone I can talk to on the server also. I will pretty much play any game server on Minecraft but I can't guarantee I'll be very good. So I guess leave your skype name in the answers or message me I am robert.hadley55

Yes it's called MCSG. http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com ^That's the website. It has a list of all the MCSG servers. It's by far the best hunger games server I've seen.

Thanks for the A2A.It really depends on your preference for the kind of Minecraft you want to play. If you enjoy Pixelmon(Pokemon in Minecraft), a good server is TheDestinyMC. If you want a vanilla experience, I wouldn’t know, because I only really enjoy modded Minecraft. If you want Agrarian Skies, or other skyblock packs, there are different servers for different packs, though AgSkies has a good pair of servers on Apocalyptic Gaming, one of my preferred server groups which has servers for many different modpacks. There are several different servers and server groups out there for different kinds of people.
