1.) Yes and no. If Skill Drain was on the field first than that means Avian Apex's effect is Negated upon summon, but if you ahve Avian Apex and your opponent activates Skill Drain, you may negate it with his effect. Also you can't negate Counter Traps like Magic Drain, Solemn Judgment, Dark Bribe, etc. because Avian Apex is Spell speed 2 and the Counters are spell speed 3. 2.) Yes, you may activate his effect during Damage Step, and cards from the hand. 3.) He can negate Gorz and tragoedia because that is an effect to special summon them, but he can't negate Montage Dragon because his is a requirement, cost if you will, to Summon him, not an effect. 4.) Yes, again, because they are triggered to activate at that time, and he is allowed to do so during Damage Step.
Mist Valley Avian Apex Question?
According to this question: "When resolving the effect of "Mist Valley Apex Avian", if the card to be returned to the hand is not on the field, then does it resolve?", the answer is: "Returning the targeted "Mist Valley" monster to your hand is an effect of "Mist Valley Apex Avian", and is performed at resolution. If an effect like "Ring of Destruction" is Chained so that the targeted monster cannot be returned to the hand, then the effect of "Mist Valley Apex Avian" is not applied and the effect of the Spell Card/Trap Card/Effect Monster is not negated" (1) According to this ruling (yugiohwikia), if a card like Dark Hole or Lightning Vortex is activated, can Avian Apex negate them w/ a Thunderbird? (2) Also, if Avian Apex is the only monster I have have on the field, and my opponent targets it w/ Smashing Ground or a Monarch effect, can I still negate the targeting effect with Avian Apex? -Thanks

When we used apex for statistics i realized that you can keep the notes and key terms windows open on your screen to use while you're doing the assignments. That was a little helpful but I never found any answer websites- I wish I had because those assignments were soooo hard. Good luck!

Will Apex die out soon?
Absolutely not. IMO, Apex Legends isn’t going anywhere. Not for a long time. AL is a mainstay now. The way that it was launched pretty much ensured that. It has the time to get feedback and grow.Also, Apex Legends draws on an audience mostly different to Fortnite. They will be direct competitors for quite some time. We’re going to see some pretty cool evolution here, especially in Fortnite, because now that AL has come into the game and gotten so many things right, people can see what they were missing with Fortnite. This will cause FBR to scramble to grab at new ideas to keep their fanbase. I mean, come on.
