Are 4 inch wedges ok for a 14 year old?
I'm in eighth grade and at the end of the school year we have an awards ceremony that everyone gets dressed up for (like girls wear dresses and guys wear nice shirts and ties). I'm thinking about wearing 4 inch wedges to it, but would that be too much? It's during the school day, so I'd have to walk around in the wedges all day but i think i could handle it. My main concern is being seen as "slutty" or looking like I'm trying too hard. Any thoughts?

I'm 14 and a freshman and I like these booties. (3 inch wedge) However, I'm not sure if it'd be inappropriate. There are a few girls who wear wedges at my age and I think it looks fine. I know how to walk in them by the way. (I have 3 inch wedges from a party, and I even wore them yesterday) These aren't the actual ones I wanted, but they are the only ones available in my size/color I want. I think they're fine, I would wear them with jeans, and especially since the wedge part is black it's hard to even tell how high it actually is. When I was thirteen, I had a school dance too (this was only last year so don't think that I'm just some old lady complaining about kids these days and giving you a lecture) I wore beautiful sandals that were flat and EVERYONE complimented on how prettty I looked. Some girls wore shoes like that and nobody complimented them (especially since they had constipated expressions on their faces from the pain and discomfort that they were in). I think that you should just wear shoes that are either flat or a tiny (2 inches or less) heel and they will be perfect. Is it appropriate for a 16 year old high school girl to wear wedge sandals to school? My aunt just bought me an adorable pair of wedge, strappy sandals that are boho and colorful along with a cute orange tank and shorts. Would this be okay to wear to school? Should I wear them with jeans or not at all? I want to wear my cute new shoes once I break them in but I spend most of my time at school :( They don't hurt my feet too much. My classes aren't that far away from each other and there are so many people that everyone walks slow. I'm 5 feet so these wedges would give me some height. What do you think?

Of course they can dear (: Heels would be appropriate in any place where you can walk in them, *Warning : watch out for rocky areas ;P Stilletos for special occasions.
