Are All The Man United Players Of Last Season That Left This Year Doing Good

How strong is the Manchester United team this year?

The only thing that made us finish 4th last season was the presense of De Gea. It could have been worse because of the absence of a proper back four. Signings have been made this year but the main problem has not been solved. The best player of the team De Gea will most probably leave. The back line has not been improved. After watching the match against PSG, anyone would agree that defenders have to be signed, Darmian is good but you need better players if you plan on winning the EPL or the UCL.EPL: 3-5 probably.UCL: Last 16 maybe but clearing the group stage when you are not a seeded team is tough and with the current squad. May the gods have mercy on us.Domestic Cups: Do you really care about these?

Can Manchester United win the 2017-18 season or the Champions League?

No.Manchester United cannot win the league next season, regardless of who they sign. The mental toughness they used to have 5 years ago to win a league appears to have completely evaporated from the squad. They are still feeling the repercussions of David Moyes’s reign even now. And that has set Manchester United back a number of years. I can see them doing an Arsenal where they will not win the league for many years despite having quality players, but just not mentally strong enough players to win a league title. Also Jose Mourinho has lost a bit of his edge, despite winning the Europa League and the League Cup. The bad half season at his second spell at Chelsea towards the end of it has bruised his ego.And Ed Woodward is not such a good chairman and he does not make good enough business decisions. Buying flair players and getting a manager like Mourinho has just papered over the cracks. David Gill is a huge loss for Manchester United. This is why they will not win the Premier League title in the 2017-18 season and possibly in the foreseeable future. As far as Champions League is concerned, they won't win that either in the foreseeable future. First of all they have a long way to go. Secondly if a team as good as Manchester United turns up on two legs of a knockout tie in the Champions League, then Manchester United have more chances to lose than win. In knockout ties pre match preparation goes out of the window and it is all about that moment. If I am proven wrong, then well done to the Manchester United squad and the manager.

Who's going to win the PFA Player Of The Year?

Gerrard - had a quiet start to season but exploded into action there after, could benefit from a split vote for United players
Vidic - Would have been a shoo-in if it wasn't for the disaster against Liverpool, still think he'll win it though
Giggs - Was surprised he even made the nominations, and cause of all the hype surrounding him recently wouldn't be surprised to see him win
Ferdinand - Better footballer than Vidic but wasn't as outstanding or consistent as him all season
Van der Sar - Record of clean sheets but had a few dodgy games during season as well
Ronaldo - Was never gonna live up to last season after being injured at the start, but still has a great season hitting 20 goals in all so far and is top scorer in premier league again

Think it was appalling Frank Lampard wasn't included, he's single-handedly kept Chelsea tapping away all season and is in the best form of his career, shame really. Vidic for me!!

Will Manchester United win the Premier League this season with the team they have right now?

In a word NO!I'm a United fan and normally I'd be optimistic about our start to the season. 3 games, 2 wins, 1 draw and no goals conceded makes for great viewing, but it's far from the real picture. There are a couple of things wrong with Man United, none more so than upfront.1.Wazza isn't an out and out striker and with limited service from the midfield, he clearly is struggling. They need a world class striker and aren't chasing the right players.2.Not enough runners from midfield into the box going past Wazza and taking defenders with them. The huge problem of Juan Mata playing out wide and Januzaj in the hole. This is clearly not working.Memphis Depay is a player, but has to improve his finishing and passing in the final third. And whatever happened to our best wide man of last season Ashley Young. Too many similar players in the midfield - Schneiderlin,Carrick,Schweinsteiger,Herrera(who can't seem to get a game).3.Defense looks solid for now with Smalling having the time of his life. But Daley Blind at Left-Center half will struggle against tougher strikers. So we need to strengthen in defense as well. And the ever confusing saga of David De Gea - will he stay, will he go?Romero to me doesn't look like a world class Gk and if De Gea leaves,we need another significant signing. So all in all I feel United need atleast 3 more players to be considered as real contenders for the PL title. (especially looking at the City and Chelsea squads)This seems very unlikely with just days left in the transfer window. So Van Gaal has to get his act together and live up-to the expectations this season, because if you spend £230 million and and still don't mount a title challenge, we've got huge problems.

Why is team Arsenal better than Team Manchester United?

What do you mean by? Can you be more specific about this?If you talking about current season. I could say Manchester United squad is much better than Arsenal . Manchester United have solid defence, they conceded fewer (29) than Arsenal (44) last season. Paul Pogba and Matic absolutely bossed West Ham midfield yesterday. They brought Lukaku to strengthened attacking which Manchester United lack last season and draw with team many time, they also bought Matic to free up space for players to go forward and attack, Pogba also can create more chance for striker and go forward more without looking back cos Matic will be doing his duty as CDM. So they will turn many of draws they had last season into victory. Many of us thought that Real Madrid was going to rape Manchester United by huge margin in Super cup but only one goal?! Manchester United had bad first half but they play so good in second half, they learnt from their mistake in first half and improve it. Meanwhile, considering Real Madrid defeated Juventus by 3 goal who is said to be have one of best defence in champions league?! Manchester United are not far from Barcelona, Bayern or Juventus unlike Arsenal who were beaten easily by Bayern Munich by 8 goal and Barcelona by 4 goal in the round of 16Manchester United has very balance team from defence to midfield to attack. However, they still want to add wingers like perisic to boast Manchester United’s attacking and they need to sign more players for next season, preferably secondary striker and right and left fullback defender then they are good to go so they could reach giant level they were beforeNot to mention that Jose Mourinho won title with Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid then again Chelsea in his second season so its safe to say that Manchester United are favourites than Arsenal to win the title

All the other teams have signed good players, when will UNITED start buying players?

Obviously, they'll buy them before the transfer window closes.I think you meant -Will there be any good players left to buy?David Moyes and Ed Woodward are certainly as concerned about this as the fans are. They need a marquee signing to herald their ambition. Moyes needs a quality transfer to stamp his presence as the new manager of MUTD. And they're trying. But I wish they weren't so hell bent upon chasing a single player, and that too one who (talented or not) has his heart commited elsewhere Fabregas would be an ideal signing, yes, but the truth of the matter is that he is not very excited at the prospect of making Old Trafford his home ground. We could have spent our time in a more productive way by silently getting Gundogan and Fellaini for about 50 million. With Zaha in the picture, Nani commited to the club, and Kagawa expected to show his class, that would have been an enormous boost to the midfield. We could finally sell off Anderson, too.( if anyone offered to buy him, in the first place)Instead we 1. Are still waiting for result of the 40 million pound bid (Bid No.3) for Francesc Fabregas 2. Have let Fellaini's buy-out clause lapse3. Let Thiago go to Bayern Munich unbid for.4. Let Strootman pen a deal with Roma5. Messed up Rooney by asking him to play second fiddle to RVP.In the end, I think we'll finally end up:1. With no Fabregas, Bale, Gundogan.2. Buying Fellaini a day before the window closes, at probably double his value.3. Selling Rooney to Mourinho at a decent price.4. With another league success at the end of the season P.S.There are rumors though (tell me when there aren't any), that the reason for Real Madrid buying Bale at such an exorbitant price is that C.Ronaldo wants back at his former club. Fingers crossed for that.

Can Man United win Premier League 2017/18?

As a Stoke fan, which means no business with the title, I have no preferences. This season’s title will go to either Man Utd or Man City, slightly more favoured to United. For Man Utd, this is Jose’s second year. The team structure is basically done. In attacking there’s Lukaku, who has now proven to be one promising striker with great natural strength and decent instinct. Compared to Morata, he might be more ideal for Jose’s tactics, and a nice improvement from last season’s Ibra(don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of Ibra, and he’s a legend when at his peak, but last season his presence, though scoring decent number of goals, slowed down Utd’s attack, after all he’s 35). In the midfield, there’s the amazing signing of Matic which totally liberated Pogba. This is Jose’s magic, no one would had thought that it could work so well. And there are plenty of choices for the third guy, Mkhitaryan is now the top choice, Mata also works quite well, Herrera is struggling but he’ll adapt, Fellani is also a great option for certain occasions. In the wings there are Rashford and Martial, Lingard is also good if there’s extra need for coverage. Actually defence is now the biggest concern — Bailly is of course solid, but in the Stoke game he made a key mistake. I’ve always considered Jones as actually the best CB if not injured. Smalling cannot position well, and when Jones is injured Smalling will be the problem for Utd defence. RB Valencia is fantastic, LB was bit of a problem until recently the contract year Young came along. Degea is still one of the best.Man City is more fluent when it comes to attack. Pep is truly a master when it comes to attacking. No other words need to be said. Their only problem might just also be their defence. There’s no telling when Stones and Otamendi go back to their previous failure, and Kompany is not gonna be around that often. So who the title belongs actually depends on defence. And knowing Jose, I would bet my money on United.

Who are the most promising players in soccer right now?

I'm quite into scouting young players on television and writing reports about them but here are some who, as per me, have the potential to do something big. These are the slightly lesser known player.Harry Reed from Southampton. I bet a thousand pounds that this guy will play for England one day. He's so composed and such an accurate passer that he's impressed me quite a bit.Hakan Calhanoglu, Karim Bellarabi, Hueng min Son, Josip Drmic(needs to improve upon his fitness) and Tin Jedvaj: Bayer LeverkusenGianluca Gaudino, Sebastian Rode, Pierre Hjobjerg: Bayern MunichSaul Niguez, Jose Maria Giminez: Atletico MadridJames Ward Prowse: Southampton. Another sure shotDoria: Marseille: A composed form of David Luiz.Donis Avdijaj: FC Schalke U-19. Wrote about him an year ago. And he's a pacy, instinctive striker.Joel Matip and Max Meyer: SchalkeFabian Schar: FC Basel. He's strong centre half. Has a good reading of the game.Filip Kostic: VFB Stuttgart. A Serbian Arjen Robben. Very quick on either flanks. Signed from Groningen last summer but needs to move away from Stuttgart.Viktor Fischer, Joel Veltman and Davy Klaasen: Ajax. Young Daley Sinkgraven has joined from Heerenveen too.Jean Paul Boetius and Terrence Kongolo: FeyenoordZak Bakkali, Jefferey Bruma and Adam Maher: PSVJon Tah: Hamburg. A towering centre half.Milan Badelj: Fiorentina. Hard working central midfielder but would fail at an EPL club.I may have missed out on some! Thanks for the A2A!

Who should Manchester United sign in the summer 2017?

As per their current squad; I assume Carrick and Ibra would leave at the end of this season.Assuming Ibra left and also they won the League, it’s clear that they would need a quality striker. Now as per the current situation, the best possible options are :Griezmann : He is behaving disturbingly these days, I’m not sure if it’s a of Transfer request or something else. Anyways, Pogba is there and Griezmann would love to join him at United. Assuming obviously, Atletico doesn’t win anything this season.Lacazette : Although he has been linked with Arsenal, but I doubt that wenger would spend money and United has a great chance to land him next season if they want. Now leaving Ibra behind, let’s focus on Defense. I don’t think that United need anyone actually, Bling Bailey and Smalling are quite good. Also they have Rojo, Shaw, Valencia and Young at full backs which seems pretty good to me. Not to mention De Gea in goal is doing a fine fine job.Midfield, Pogba’s arrival has boosted the midfield and him with Mykhtaryan and others would be enough to create enough chances to win the league. Now the trick here is to wisely use Mykhtaryan and Mata both, both are good and talented. They can give Rooney rest by playing Pogba at CAM and giving Schneiderlin a chance in Starting lineup. Still considering they had to signup a midfielder, here are the options:Payet : Him admitting Pogba is France’s best is the sign of respect and that respect could very well be the reason he can come to United. Not to mention the money.Febregas : A lot of United fans hate Chelsea and it’s players, but there’s no denying Febregas’ abilities on the ball. He could be the very reason to move Pogba upfront with Ibra and boost the attack.Mahrez : Again linked with Arsenal, but that only means that he is interested in moving on. And a 35–40 million pound could very well be enough to get his services at Old Trafford.
