Are Americans Just Too Infantile Or Scared To Understand What Happened On 9/11

Have American liberals become far too casual in comparing Republicans to Hitler?

I honestly have never heard Bush compared to Hitler, but considering that most arguments on the Internet tend to end in someone declaring the other person or the person they're defending to be the next Hitler, I'm sure it's happened before.I agree that it's ridiculous to compare most politicians to Hitler. I was no fan of Bush, but Bush was no Hitler. :)Donald Trump is a genuine fascist though. There are a lot of parallels between him and Hitler. It's not a stretch at all to compare the two.Consider:Trump has called for special badges to identify Muslims, much in the same way that Hitler marked and persecuted the Jews as a convenient scapegoat to blame all of Germany's problems on.He relies on fear and hatred directed towards minorities to stir up support and gain power, much like Hitler used similar propaganda in his own rise to power.Much like Trump, Hitler was widely regarded as an awful public speaker who spewed hate and wasn't considered a serious candidate in 1930's Germany. Trump's call to deport Muslims and other ethnic groups is exactly how Hitler treated the Jews at first. He started by rounding them up and either deporting them or forcing them to live in ghettos. It was only later on, after Hitler had consolidated his power and started his campaign against the rest of Europe and Africa that this escalated to sending Jews to the gas chambers and concentration camps. Trump has already floated the idea of concentration camps.Perhaps most telling, however, is that Trump's ex-wife admitted that Trump kept a book of Hitler's collected speeches in his bedside table. Trump admitted to having the book, but claimed he would never read it. Donald Trump's ex-wife once said Trump kept a book of Hitler's speeches by his bed I don't think that there's anything incriminating about someone giving you a book, but I don't tend to keep books I never read by my bed. He says he never read it, but his ex-wife says he did. The fact that he kept it by his bed and seems to have taken some lessons away from it make me feel like she's the one telling the truth. It appears that Trump has studied Hitler and is emulating many of Hitler's policies that lead up to World War II in his own rhetoric. It's rare that comparing someone to Hitler isn't jumping the shark in a discussion, but in this case, the comparison is pretty well spot on.

Are anti-vaxxers more likely to be liberals or conservatives, and why is this so?

This is one area of idiocy that seems to come full circle on the political spectrum. On one hand you have the liberal hipster types who think anything natural is good (you know like cyanide and smallpox) and would rather purchase some healing stones from Gwyneth Paltrow in lieu of vaccines. Then on the other hand you have the hyper-religious homeschool types who are worried about the vaccine industry killing fetuses to make their wares and how the HPV vaccine takes some of the punishment out of sex.And somewhere in between are the spoiled soccer moms who are scared of autism and think their precious darlings are too special to get vaccines so they depend on all the riff raff to do it.There is a somewhat well-known South African antivaxxer on Quora who I saw posting anti-Trump sentiments on the comments of an answer. Not that I disagree with that part, but I felt the need to point out to her that Trump is also an antivaxxer.I asked her if she lived in the US if she would vote for Trump if his opponent were pro-vaccines and supported tightening rules on mandatory vaccination for schools. Rather than answer, she at first said she couldn’t say because she didn’t understand US politics. I pressed her to answer and she blocked me. So I suppose even the antivaxxers themselves have trouble coming to terms with those in their ranks who hold opposing political views on everything else.

Aside from the Holocaust and the Moon landings, what are some other true events that some people are trying to turn from fact into fiction? Why are they doing this?

For some people the facts are useless while the fiction is useful.Denying the Holocaust suggests:Jews are dishonestGovernments are capable of massive lies about historical events possibly because they are controlled by the Jews. The media is controlled by the JewsSounds like a lot of utter bullshit that is very useful for an antisemitic right wing nut job.Moon landing faked as similar underlying assumptions:government is lying to youmedia can’t be trusted because it is controlledAll that works for any extreme right or left wing person or group who wishes to send the message “you cannot truest THEM, but you can trust US”.There are many other examples:9/11 conspiracy theoriesJFK conspiracy theoriesClaiming mass shootings are staged or false flags - Even Pearl Harbor is being questioned as a “staged” event or a “false flag” by these idiots.I’d suggest many of them believe that only revolution will bring about the change they want. I suspect that’s true since they are among small minorities who are unlikely to get what they want in a Democracy or Republic, therefore, they need to delude others into following them in a absurd hope that revolutionary change will actually end up making the changes THEY want. They are victims of a false dichotomy, that is thinking if things are not what they are, they will be what they want them to be.Logic isn’t their strong suit.

Why USA keeps fighting with other countries? Wouldn't it be peace in the world if USA stops fighting and stops sending their soldiers to foreign lands because it is causing alot of economic as well as Human loss to USA as well?

Actually from an historical perspective times have been relatively peaceful especially since the collapse of international communism. Russia and China, although not without territorial aspirations are more focused on power through wealth and the accumulation of natural resources by means other than military aggression. The major exceptions would be North Korea and Iran. The idea that the world would be a more peaceful place without the USA is something you may have been taught by your professor in world history class but in reality without the presence of the US military despotic nations would have little to check their aggression. The problem any powerful nation has that seeks to weld its power justly is in determining when to intervene. If you neighbor is beating his wife and there are no police to call do you intervene? Will you make matters worse if you do? What if the person is the leader of a nation and is dropping poison gas on the civilian population? When do you get involved and when do you remain a bystander? Look to history and recent events to provide instruction on the results of remaining a bystander in the face of injustice. The tough part is determining when it is best to intervene, the most effective type of intervention, and making a decision based on imperfect intelligence. There are no easy answers. As Spidy well knows. With great power comes great responsibility.

Is it not time to shake things up and elect Trump?

I am writing this just after the tragic attacks occurred in Orlando. On June 12, 2016, a gunman stormed into the Pulse nightclub, killed 49 people and wounded 53.This was the worst terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11.Surely a national tragedy — a time for the American people to come together in solidarity, to mourn for the lost. Not for Donald Trump. Look at what he tweeted immediately following the attack:Only Trump could turn this into something about himself. In fact, he is using the event as a fear tactic to push an anti-islam agenda. But it has been made clear he has no plan regarding how to stop ISIS. Look at this quote:Trump said he would go after ISIS-controlled oil fields and "bomb the s--- out of 'em.”It demonstrates a clear lack of understanding regarding how the world works.Let me link a couple articles to a few of Trump’s past ‘business’ ventures. Business is used loosely here, as it has been proven that such startups are plain scams.Trump University Was A Scam, Say Former StudentsHow Donald Trump Bankrupted His Atlantic City Casinos, but Still Earned MillionsSo let me ask you: do you want an egotistical, incompetent, insensitive, dishonest hooligan in office? Yes? Then maybe it is time to shake things up with Trump. And this answer just touches the tip of the iceberg.
