Are Androids/ Samsung Tablets Better Than Ipads

What is better a samsung tablet or Ipad?

It really depends on what you are using it for. An android tablet will be alot faster, but will take some time getting use to. The samsung tab 10.1 comes in at 500 dollars, but I have seen it at costco for 450 dollars. The ipad 3 or 4 is also a great option and you pay for what you get when you go with the apple product ( sleek, appealing and intuitive ). Any body can figure out an ipad pretty quickly! Another "Perk" from the ipad is that there is going to be a way better variety of games and also you will get itunes. If I were you I would go with the ipad. If you already have an iphone or a mac then you will also be able to bennifit from using icloud! there is an app called istudiez pro that is great for school and keeping organized! And if you buy the new ipad dont get the mini get the ipad 4 16gb and you will still have money for a case, well you will still have to pay taxes but you get the idea! Happy buying!!!

Which is better, a Samsung tablet or an Apple iPad?

It’s down to personal preference. Its depends on ur need.Samsung tabs run android and ipads run apples own ios.SAMSUNG TABLET:userfriendly, easily drag and drop file to ur tablet using a pc.loads of apps available.(not greatly optimized)can make calls on itgenerally comes with a bigger and better screen.good performance.IPAD:not so userfriendly, gottu use itunes to copy ur music, videos …..good number of apps are available but they are well built and better optimizedcalling feature is not available even though u have a provision to insert a sim card.decent screen quality not the best seen.superior performance. So look at what u need in a tablet and then decide which one is better.

Which is better, an Android tablet, a Windows tablet or the iPad?

It depends too much on your personal needs to be able to give you a good answer. If you feel like describing what you do on a tablet I can give you a very good answer, though. If I have to generalize, though, for the most basic, non-tech users, you could go for an iPad. Remember, they don’t have a real widescreen and the overall feeling of an iPad is a tablet for a child. Also, Apple is forcing you into an echo system you don’t wanna be in a few years, as Apple is dropping year after year. Once upon a time, Apple were the kings of tablets, but that time is over. For the medium techies, you could make an argument for Windows, especially if you have the money to pick up their more expensive tablets. They have a bunch of really solid tablets, and although pricey, of really high quality. I haven’t that much experience with their software and OS on tablets, but from what I understand, their app store is nothing like Apple’s and Google’s. So be aware if you like to use a lot of apps.Best choice regardless of phone or tablet is usually Android for a number if reasons. Price, customization, a lot of updates and fixes, most advanced functions on the market by far (just compare Siri/Cortana with Google Assistant and you will laugh). If you like technology and the ability to somewhat decide how your tablet experience should be — by customizing the design of things and not being locked-in by some developer who thinks you shouldn’t be able to change their stuff — choose Android.

What is better iPAD(4) or Samsung Galaxy Tab 2?

I would say iPad because apple has more talet optimised apps as opposed to Android...and overall, the iPad is much better than the Samsung counterparts in terms of being a tablet...it's also proven to be able to take quite a beating...

But if you are a person who wants to customise everything and hacking and all that stuff, the iPad is not your thing...
If its for general stuff like viewing photos, music, video, office stuff (similar to MS Office, the iWork suite) and games etc, look no further than the iPad... It's the best option

Why are iPads still better than most tablets?

For me, the answer seems to be software and apps. In general, apps within the old store are more consistent and polished, and this is especially true when looking at tablet apps.Android is notorious for having badly optimised apps, and as a result the android tablet experience has been worse when compared to that of an iPad. This makes a big deal to users, especially since tablets are often keeps longer than phones. This also brings up the second point, which is longevity. Tablets are, in general, kept for much longer than a phone, and iOS devices last longer when compared to an android device. Apple maintains support for their devices for much longer than other tablet manufacturers, meaning that someone who owns an iPad that is a few years old will have a much better experience than someone who has a comparable android tablet. This then translates into repeat sales, and apples reputation for newbies that last a long time.

Are iPads really so much better than Android tablets? I honestly prefer the Galaxy Tab S4.

Yes. iPads offer a better tablet expeience than you can get on Android tablets. This is not because of any inherent technical advantages to iPads but because of the breadth and depth of support for them. The greater variety of tablet formats in the Android world and historically poorer explicit support for the tablet format in Android itself has left a much poorer eco system. This may change with the evolution of support for folding phones.I use a large iPad Pro and a highend android phone. I have used top of the range Android tablets in the past but found the experience poor outside of manufacturer offerings (such as Samsung s-pen support apps).

Android tablet vs. Ipad?

Ryan, the difference between an iPad and and android tablet is the cost and the operating system. Android works on the android OS and a little less user friendly than the iPad, but that shouldn't be a deal breaker since that unless you are doing some heavy computing most of the stuff you would do on a tablet is pretty easy to figure out. also since there are plenty of android users out there it is easier to get user friendly apps and OS.

As for apps, apple has strict requirements if you want to submit it to the itunes store while android is open and almost anyone can submit apps. As a result you will see alot of android apps out there and need to check the reviews a little closer to make sure it is want you want.

As for costs, you can get a fun and usefull android system for around 200- 300 hundred dollars as opposed to an iPad for 700. as the new android come out they can get pricey and if you want them then you should look at the iPad but if you want a nice, inexpensive tablet than an android tablet is fine.

What current Windows or Android tablet is better than an iPad 3?

I consider the Sony Xperia tablets very good. I have an Xperia™ Z3 Tablet Compact - Sony Mobile (Global UK English) (8″, Android 6, 3G/4G) that I use for reading and browsing mostly, and the only negative thing I can say is that the water-tight cover for the USB connector is not water-tight forever.
